We are in Chicago a lot, so naturally we compare this place to Garrett's. I like this place a lot better only bc I appreciate the variety they have here. My kids also like this place better, too. As a corporate tax auditor, lol, I did think they should use dollar signs to differentiate from when their sign is indicating prices vs sizes lol it was a little confusing, but nothing a few dollar signs can't fix lol. Our family loves this place and can say that the popcorn is always pretty perfect! I really like the bag it comes in too.

None of the dolls that used to be there, by dolls I mean like Raggedy Ann and sock puppets and such. No sourdough bread. I did get some bread to try and some Jellies and of course apple cider but that was about it. My brother said we will go back for the apple cider and of course that is true, we will but the store seems to have shrunk quite a bit since last year when we visited. I did get some jams and jellies and some salsa as gifts for a party I am having in a few weeks and the cashier was nice (same guy as last year, I remember)

I asked if they offer samples, and they do! I tried three flavors: cheese, spicy cheese, and caramel. There's real Wisconsin cheddar cheese on every popcorn kernel! I like the cheese flavor and spicy cheese, they're both delicious, a great combination, popcorn is light, airy, has a slight crunch, and nice spicy kick! For a small order, it's a pretty generous portion and the price is reasonable. Service from Debbie and Joe is welcoming, attentive, and courteous.
