Our heater stopped working on the coldest day of the year. My husband is a consultant to large factories. The same automation that controls factory robots is inside the heater. So we can't be fooled. The tech tried to tell us that we needed to replace the control board. That's a $2,000 repair. We said no, but still had to pay $300 for his service call. Then we called a competitor who showed us that our problem was a hypo-allergenic heater filter with a weave so tight that the heater shut down rather than pump more air through that filter. It cost us $150 for the other guy's site visit and $35 at Lowe's for a new, less tightly woven filter. Problem solved. Don't go to Scatton's. read more

Scatton's is awesome! We recently had a problem with carbon monoxide which the fire department said was caused by a defective 14 year old furnace which was rusted inside. We are grateful the co detectors were working! This happened on a Monday. By Monday afternoon we had an estimator arrive to give an estimate. We decided to replace both furnaces and A/C units. Scatton's rearranged a few schedules to do our installations on that Friday with two crews. The crews were very professional and courteous and explained everything to us in detail. Their cleanup was immaculate. I highly recommend Scatton's and will be using them in the future for all our HVAC needs. read more

We have used them for years. Always professional and trustworthy. We are on a maintenence schedule and it's very convenient. Good service at a fair price. read more

We shopped around for a replacement HVAC system with several local companies. Scatton's carries Carrier, which is the leading manufacturer of HVAC systems. I asked for quotes on both a mid and high efficiency systems. We went with the high efficiency system due to rebates and lower energy costs. Pricing was what I expected for a quality system. Installation was as planned. All of the installers communicated with me about what was happening and all totally respected my home. All debris was removed. System has been working great and I am glad we picked Scatton's and Carrier. read more

Been using Scattons for preventative HVAC service and installations for 25+ years. Each year when the maintenance agreement renews, I think to shop around for another provider. I stay with Scattons. While they are not cheap, their rates seem consistent with market. Office staff and techs are all professional, friendly, and courteous. read more

Prompt and professional service. Eddie was awesome and the main reason I will be a repeat customer.

I had a great experience working with Scatton's replacing the main AC and the AC in my sunroom. They were very, very professional and sincere with what they recommended and installed. They didn't cut corners, and always went beyond the expectations. For the amount of work and quality, it is great value for the amount of money paid. The whole team lead by Mark and Jeff were great to work with read more

We moved into a new house and it was at the time out of scatton's service area. We used 2 other TRANE dealers who were unable to fix our relatively new HVAC. Then SCATTON's fortunately began servicing our very complex HVAC and boiler system. And they fixed what 3 other HVAC dealers could not. Very reasonably and lots of know how and CONCERN for doing us right. Also explained in detail what we need to do to keep our system problem free. we will never use anyone else. read more

Scatton's gave us a quote, a reasonable turn around time from quote to installation, and did a fantastic job of installing the new air conditioning equipment without disturbing my father who was on hospice care inside our home. Would have them back anytime time! These are great guys! read more

We had four local contractors come out and give us proposals on a replacement furnace and AC unit which after 18 years finally needed to be replaced. Vince, or sales guy, stood out among all sales guys as being very honest and resourceful in providing a very cost-effective solution for our unique needs. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about their products and was able to answer the many technical questions I had. He was on time when he met me, was informative and Victoria promptly e-mailed his proposal to us. He consistently answered my followup e-mail questions quickly, and was easy to contact via phone. He also followed up with me after the install to make sure we were happy with everything. The installers Jay and Anthony also did a great job of installing the new system then showing me everything we needed to know about the new system. They were also on time, had a professional appearance, and were friendly. They are clearly detail oriented guys; all aspects of the install job were done very professionally including the plumbing, electrical, gas, main furnace and AC hardware, and cleanup once they were done. I highly recommend Scatton's Heating & Cooling, Inc! read more

I wouldn't recommend them . My furnace was not working . I asked for a quote on how to fix it and they never got back to me . They said they had to mail the quote even though I am in the same town . I was cold without heat . I went to a competitor for more prompt service . Never again . And they cashed the check for the service call that they did nothing to deserve . Never again . read more

I am so pleased with the marvelous service provided by everyone I've dealt with at Scatton's. They are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, and are consummate professionals. The scheduling folks are terrific - and got to us the day after our call. Vince (the technician) remediated a sub-standard air conditioning installation - originally done by another company sent by our rather useless home warranty. I am so grateful for Vince (not sure of his last name) who came and fixed our problem in a few hours (not an easy one either). A couple of days later, Joe (another amazing tech) came to see about a high-pitched sound (that I couldn't even hear - my fiancee did) - within a minute, Joe identified the cause (tiny bend in cover caused the tiny air-leak). Within a few minutes more - Joe fixed the problem. No charge. These are folks that stand behind their work. I would never consider using anyone else. You cannot go wrong with Scatton's - they really are the best I've ever seen... in every way. read more

We have used Scatton on several occasions and have been impressed each time. They are very professional, and knowledgeable. They completed an air conditioner re-install for us yesterday, working in the grueling heat to finish the job. We're very happy. read more

Recently had some maintenance done to my old boiler and baseboard heating system. Vince came out on time and replaced multiple air leak valves and an air expansion tank, and checked the system throughout the house all in a reasonable amount of time. He didn't try to sell my wife either. My wife and I are very happy with the service and will continue using Scatton's. read more

Friendly, knowledgeable technicians. Fair pricing. They have always been very prompt with their appointments. I've had central air systems repaired, serviced and installed. They installed a heat pump system. They've serviced both gas furnaces and boilers for me. I'd recommend to anyone! read more

Had a very good experience with Scattons. They didn't try to oversell or BS me which I appreciate. The install went well and any issues that came up, they were responsive and made adjustments. I was very happy with Scattons. read more

Today will be my second time using Scatton's. I called them this past winter to fix my heater after another company charged me & never came back to fix it. They had an answering service that took my info, & first thing in the morning someone got back to me. The Techs. were out in a few hours & had my system up & running in less then an hour. They were friendly, efficient, & explained everything to me. The price was even less then the last guy...and it was actually working when they were done! Today they are coming out to look at my ac. As with my prior experience the calling service last night was great, and both people that I spoke with today were as well. I am at ease knowing they are coming out today & don't feel like I have to worry about being swindled. read more

We just had two new Carrier Infinity systems installed in our home. From start to finish it was such a pleasure working with Scatton's . Vince is such a pleasure to deal with and John and Brandon did a fantastic job on the install (with the help from Jerrod). It is not just the products you choose, but the quality of the installation that is important as well. We are so happy with our new systems and glad we chose such a great company to work with. read more

We have been using Scatton's for the past 8 years for our a/c and heating. Always an excellent service at a fair price. A couple of years ago we had to replace our hot water tank which was still under warranty. Within 5 hours of our call they came out and replaced it with zero cost to us. 100 pct ethical and honest. The best! read more

Our HVAC was on the fritz. We got quotes from 3 local Lansdale companies.Vince Corbett came out the Friday night before he left for vacation and went over our needs for our home. He made some different recommendations than the previous two companies based on the fact that we live in a townhome and are an interior unit. This made me nervous initially but then I realized he was simply being HONEST and not trying to "up-sell" us. He had Victoria Chubb, their super nice office manager, send over our quote on Monday morning. My Uncle was helping us with the decision, he had some questions and Vince was kind enough to take the time to have a discussion even though he was on vacation, ACCOMMODATING! After looking over all the quotes, we decided to go with Scattons because they offered the best price and a TOP RATED BRAND (Carrier). We had their first available appointment scheduled but our AC was not going to make it that long so they were nice enough to ask another customer to switch install dates with us (thank you to that customer)! Jim and Jay (the ginger twins :) showed up on time and had the install complete in 7 hours. They covered practically the entire house with canvas so there was absolutely no mess to clean up. They were so POLITE and PROFESSIONAL and took the time to go over the in and outs of the new system with us. If you are in the market for an HVAC system or service, Scattons can't be beat as far as customer satisfaction and courtesy and quality and price..... Elizabeth and Marlon Hatfield, PA read more
