When asked what risk he thought it poses, his patient coordinators refused to answer, saying 'he knows all about all 13 types of Ehlers Danlos' (something even specialists in EDS wouldn't claim) and he would refuse to operate on any of them. Clearly, someone just googled 'Ehlers Danlos surgery risk' and saw all the scary articles about type IV and type VII, and aortic root distension, and took that to mean anyone with stretchy skin will have their heart explode on the operating table. Or, maybe someone just doesn't like trans women.Either way, this is completely unprofessional and has no basis in medical fact.

When I asked the reception to increase the heat, she said they couldn't, that the building controlled the temperature, the thermostat was not in their suite -- not sure I believe that.
