Dr. Dorner is amazing. He is a brilliant surgeon and a kind and gentle man. I'm really happy for Kelly K, the employee who wrote a 5 star review. Many negative reviews below involve finances, which Kelly has a role in (at least did for me.) Maybe there is an employee discount or bonus for services and/or writing reviews? I have $14,212.50 in credits that I purchased that were used without my consent by Dorner office staff. I spent over 7 months trying to reach Dr. Dorner's office to get this issue resolved, and no one at his office, including Dr. Dorner will help. I sent a portal message in January, Dr. Dorner told me to contact Kelly. I did. She didn't reply. I called multiple times, no one ever called back. I messaged Dr. Dorner on his portal, he said he would have Kelly call me back. Kelly never called me. I messaged Dr. Dorner again. He told me he would have someone else call me. I never received a call from anyone at his office, nor a reply to any of my calls. In July, I went to the office in person to try to get a response to my queries, which included a statement from the financial software. I waited for 15 minutes in the waiting room for documents that Kelly said she had "right here". I informed the front desk that I was leaving, and asked them to have Kelly send me the documents via email and mail. I never received anything through mail. 2 days later, I received an email that contained a custom made spreadsheet (no documents from the software) for appointments that didn't happen and payments that were never requested to me. It DID include payments that were made without my consent (against their policy), for services not rendered. In August, I scheduled an appointment for a consultation for a service with Dr. Dorner. A few minutes before the appointment, I received a phone call from an unknown number. I answered the call, it was Olivia from Dr. Dorner's office. She stated that Dr. Dorner was really busy that day and was unable to meet with me. I asked her when we could reschedule. She was put in an awkward situation where she gave various reasons for not being able to reschedule. I asked her if Dr. Dorner knew this appointment was being cancelled, she said yes, stating twice that she reports directly to him. I asked her who I could talk with, as she stated it is her job is to help clients needs. She couldn't provide me an answer, but stated that "they didn't feel it was best for me to come in". I emailed Dr. Dorner afterwards, making sure he knew that this phone call and cancellation took place. I restated specifics of funds I have spent, contacts made to his office, and restating facts. I asked for my medical records and financial records. I never received a reply to my email, nor the records I requested. I had $14,212.50 in credit with Dr. Dorner's office and received a facial and a cream. I had met with Dr. Dorner previously and felt confident in his abilities and professionalism. The vast majority of his office staff was exceptionally professional and polite. The photos of his work are beautiful. Photos and former reviews aside, there are reasons to be skeptical about investing your funds here. Look at the reviews on Better Business Bureau and Facebook. The Facebook reviews contributing to a 96% recommendation for "Dorner Plastic Surgery" are written for "Brenda William", and "Mrs. Barbara Snyder", etc....the reviews are pasted generic reviews. The work is gorgeous, but don't let any life circumstances get in your way. Money has a way of getting in the way of the best interest of the patient. In the event someone from this office replies and says the situation has been taken care of-know that if it is taken care of, I will have this statement removed. read more

Everything about this place is 5 star from the moment you walk through the door! The employees are welcoming and Dr. Dorner was fabulous. I had several procedures done and he walked me diligently through each one and set expectations. I'm beyond thrilled with the results! I went to Dr Dorner for breast surgery after he was recommended to me. Never again. From day one the staff and their communication was a clusterf***. The right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. Invoicing was wrong multiple times. The doctor was always rushing in at the end of the appointment after being released by the nurse. The day of the surgery the paperwork was wrong and items needed for the actual surgery were missing. Staffing was too busy doing Tik Tocs instead of actual work. read more

I have known Dr. Brian Dorner (Dorner Plastic Surgery) for a long time and it is unfortunate I have to write this review. But he did the unthinkable, during a rhinoplasty he actually cut a hole clear through my nose leaving a visible and offensive scar on the outside of my nose. This is devastating. I trusted Dr. Dorner and opted to have a follow-up surgery and felt assured my concerns would be addressed and this time he placed sutures all around the outside on my nose. So now in addition to my scar I have more scars, divots and track marks on the right side, left side and across my nose. These facial scars have impacted my quality of life. Please choose your surgeon very carefully. read more

I visited Dr. Dorner's office a few days ago as a new patient to have a consultation regarding my eyelids. (He charges $125 for a consultation.... no biggie... sounds reasonable enough.) After some discussion, he suggested a facial procedure called a HALO. He said it could possibly improve the look of my eyelids without having to do a full blown invasive surgery. Well that sounded pretty good. I thought I would go home and do some further research before making the appointment. I also told him that I had some trips etc this month that I needed to sort out before making an appt with him. (I obviously don't want to have a procedure done that has a week of ugly recovery if I'm going to be out of town and around people.) He said he would like to start me on a "skin regimen" and that I should be using these products for at least a couple of weeks prior to the HALO procedure. I was in a rush because I had an appointment to be at after this appt. Their esthetician hurried and grabbed three ZO products for me and jotted down when to use each product. She did this is a very dimly lit room. No one asked me what type of skin I have and the esthetician didn't even look at my skin. She just grabbed what the doctor told her to grab. The receptionist was quick to want to get me scheduled 3 days later. I tried explaining to her that I was just told that I need to be on this skin regimen for a while before having this procedure. She seemed clueless and didn't understand why I couldn't just have the procefure in 3 days. Anyways, I purchased the products (to the tune of $355.00!) and was on my way to my next appointment. I introduced these three products into my usual skin care regimen and pretty immediately noticed severe stinging. It was so painful that I hurried and rinsed it off of my face. I called the office and expressed my concern to the receptionist that answered the phone. She assured me that this was normal. I continued to use the products for 2 more days and started noticing that my beautiful skin was looking and feeling very very AWFUL. I have sensitive skin, which I communicated to the doctor in my consult. Something in my gut was telling me that maybe this is not something I should be doing to my face, as I already had pretty exceptional skin for a 41 year old. Today my skin looks and feels the worst it's ever felt. I called the office and spoke with Vicky the esthetician. I expressed my concerns and she advised me that my face would look very bad for about 30 days, but that if I could just "stick it out", I would love the results. This is the very first time hearing this. With everything I have going on this month I NEVER would have agreed to do this to my face right now. Obviously there was some kind of miscommunication and in my opinion just a plain lack of it altogether. I took the products (still in boxes) back to the office today. The office manager said I can absolutely not return these no matter what. Sorry. End of discussion. I am so dissapointed that a company that is supposed to have integrity and a professional reputation would treat any patient this way, ESPECIALLY a brand new one. Ypu shpuld be ashamed of yourselves. I obviously won't be returning and will let everyone I know how awful the service and treatment was that I received here. Please see photos of my skin last week prior to seeing Dr. Dorner and the photo I took today. I am mortified that they wouldn't make it a point to communicate to me what my skin would look and feel like while using these $355 products. I can't believe I threw $500 down the drain. And I'm PRAYING my skin isn't permanently damaged. I've worked so hard to keep it nice. Shame on you all. read more

After consulting 3 other Doctors, I consulted with Dr. Dorner and his staff and everything from the consult to the surgery to the aftercare went PERFECTLY!! The cleanliness and the way they kept my husband informed while I was in surgery was great! Pick who you feel comfortable with but I HIGHLY recommend this office and staff!!! read more

Don't join the monthly membership program. I was charged $99 twice in December when they switched to a new billing system. I took in my credit card statement in January and was told the extra charge would be removed. In February I went in with my statement showing the charge was not removed...they had no memory of the January request and nobody knew where the copy of my statement had gone. They took another copy of the December statement and I was told the following month's fee would be skipped on my account. After I got my March statement and saw another charge I called to cancel the program. I was told I would get the over-charged $99 refunded (sounds familiar) but lose the banked $99. When I'm discontinuing the program because they make ongoing mistakes, to the point where I don't trust them with my money, they should take responsibility and give a full refund. The office manager was supposed to call me yesterday and never did. That confirms the lack of professionalism in the way the practice is managed. read more

I don't even know where to start here. Dr Dorner and staff are truly amazing and professional. What I really love about Dr Dorner is that he doesn't just do procedures to line his pockets. If you go in there asking for something and he doesn't think it's needed or perhaps isn't the best fit for you, he will tell you. I went in wanting botox, he refused because the natural arch in eyebrows is very high, he told me I'd be walking around with a constant look of surprise on my face because the botox would pull them eyebrows up further. Then he talked about better options for me. Another thing I love about Dr Dorner is that he's a perfectionist in everything he does and he's not satisfied until he knows you look your best. His staff is amazing too, you won't be disappointed! If procedures aren't your thing, his Anesthetist, Christine does amazing work. When I saw her I was amazed at all the options out there - Facials, chemical peels, broadband light therapy, microneedling, cool sculpting, microblading, Ultherapy and other options too numerous to mention here, she's so knowledgeable and will take the time to explain options that are best for your skin. I know I'm rambling now, but there's just so much to say, but another great thing about Dorner Plastic Surgery is that they're always running specials, they offer bundle options to save you money and when you're a Dorner VIP client, you get added savings! read more

I have been to this office many times and recommend it to all my friends,family and clients. I have had botox and fillers by Angie,tattoo removal by Dr. Dorner, and both did an amazing job. Angie is thorough, easy to talk to, professional and a perfectionist. She has been doing my injections going on 4 years now. Dr. Dorner runs a successful practice while having the best staff as well as fantastic front desk team. I have never had a problem scheduling and the office is very accommodating. I have been to this Surgeon and office in Dublin many times in the last 3 years for surgery, scar removal etc., Dr. Dorner is an honest, pleasant and kind physician. He is straightforward and honest.
