She literally just didn't help me & refused to. I asked for a certain treatment that kinda worked,…read morethat she had done before, but she just refused to for some reason & over all did not finish the job. She instead gave me some cream & said "come see me in 6 weeks" for like a year. It did not work. She refused to acknowledge that the useless cream did not work. She was just like "you're cured! You don't need to come back :) :) :)" very smugly & rudely. Her assistant had to constantly be reminded to put gloves on. She loved to be in my ear telling me repeatedly to breathe & ask me if I'm ok. It was so annoying & a weird thing to do, very unprofessional. I'd also like to add that one of the front desk ladies was extremely rude. I was looking at a picture of a certain treatment I was curious about & she said "do you want something ? You can go" like yeah I know I can go I have a question? Her response was snarky & sarcastic, & was very unnecessary.

Nothing but great things to say about EncoreDermatology and Krisitn Abruzzi, MPAS, PA-C. My…read moreexperience is that she not only is extremely knowledgeable and walks you through options and procedures, but is also kind and understanding with an excellent bedside manner. We had a Physician Assistant Student observing during this visit. I was absolutely OK with that and had another wonderful consultation and treatment. Great staff and team here! As I am hitting my mid 40's I had some dark spots developing that I wanted to get checked out. I found out they are some small harmless seborrheic keratoses that were developing and not any type of skin cancer. I wanted to see what my options were for treatment so my primary doctor recommended EncoreDermatology. First visit and treatment was in 2021, and had scheduled this follow-up a year later for an additional procedure. EncoreDermatology is located off W. Henderson Road and Gettysburg Road. For driving landmarks, Gettysburg Road is located just past the Northwest Shopping Center and before the WestBanco building on Henderson. EncoreDermatology has it sown parking lot for the building with plenty of parking. Currently, I use EncoreDermatology for these annual services, but I could not imagine choosing any other provider for the procedure. I would also consider the location for additional procedures as well based on my two experiences here.

I've seen Dr. Wenker a number of times over the years but was scheduled with another doctor for my…read moremost recent visit. Perfectly fine. I arrived 11 minutes early for my scheduled appointment. The front desk was upset that I didn't arrive earlier because they needed me to complete a packet of paperwork. They handed me what appeared to be new patient paperwork. I've already been a patient for several years. They insisted that I needed to complete the new patient paperwork so I did. When it was finally time for me to see the doctor, he told me that he wouldn't be renewing my prescription because I wasn't suffering from cystic acne. Well, no duh. I've been taking this medication for the last couple of years and it has successfully been keeping my cystic acne at bay. I need to have the prescription renewed so that I wouldn't start suffering from cystic acne again. After much back-and-forth, the doctor insisted that I had rosacea and not cystic acne so I did not get my cystic acne prescription renewed. Wouldn't you know when my prescription ran out the cystic acne returned just as I told the doctor that it would. Needless to say, I found a new dermatologist and don't plan on going back to Central Ohio Skin Cancer.

There are 3 woman who work at the desk and I overheard them talking about a patient who had just made an appt. Not really interested in listen to their gossip and about her dance mom problems . She is hands down the best dermatologist I have ever seen! She's attentive, very knowledgeable (explaining every mole/mark on your body), and takes her time answering any questions you might have (especially regarding concerning spots). I never feel rushed and always leave feeling reassured! For this visit, I was provided some dark spot cream to help treat some dark spots on my face. I was advised that if I didn't see results within a few weeks, that I would be prescribed a stronger topical cream. I called back after a few weeks, was prescribed a new cream, and have seen some good results! Other Notes: - I was provided with a gift bag of sunscreen, body soap/wash, etc. for being a new patient. These weren't travel size - they were full sized bottles! This was greatly appreciated! - The ambiance/decor in the main office is SO cute! I enjoyed the decor, lighting, and music while waiting to be seen! - The parking situation is absolutely horrible (this office is right next to Capital University)! I spent at least 15 minutes driving back and forth the main street trying to find a parking spot. Boo! I would recommend suggesting available parking lots/spots should the back parking lot be full! Also, the entrance to the office is in the back - not the front!
