The program was in a group setting with Joy. Training was for pets and their humans. Joy would teach us the action and we would follow the action with our own pet. She would do tests on them with distractions. We did several activities for training. Our dogs pulled a lot and she educated us on harnesses that help with pulling. Since then, we have been able to use the skills we learn to calm them down more than they were. They still pull because they have a lot of energy, but the harness helped them not drag me. I learned so much. Joy was great!

They tell me she is just nervous with a new groomer, and will have a "more senior groomer" take over. That groomer took over and the rest went fine. I took her out and looked at her nails as soon as I got in the car. The groomer was grinding the TOP of her nails. No wonder why she was yelping, that had to be extremely painful. This was not on accident as she had done this to every nail on the three paws she had worked on. That was 6 hours ago and my dog has been moping around since then. The manager Angelina was very sweet and offered to pay for any vet bills. But this should never have happened in the first place. Stay FAR away from this grooming salon. Her appointment time was 11:30, and we delivered her on time. Groomers kept her until they texted just before 5:00 p.m. and left before we could pick her up. All previous groomers finished in less than 2 hours AND she was not matted nor excessively dirty as we wash her every 2 weeks. Why keep her over 5 hours? We were shocked when we arrived. She was cut the same length all over with short ears and no pom on her head or tail. She hardly looks like a poodle. We requested a standard poodle cut with a shaved face, feet, and ring around the tail and neck but got nothing like that. Poor girl even seems embarrassed when we look at her.

The end of program training with me and my kids was impressive but I was not sure they would continue behaving at home. Jake was our trainer and he was very good at explaining to me how to use their system and how to continue things at home. The first few days I was worried as my dogs did seem stressed from the entire experience. However, after being home a few days they bounced back and I felt brave enough to work on the things Jake taught us by using the collar. I have to say, I am very very happy with the results. My older dog RUbie had many issues with being aggressive towards other dogs and making walks miserable. Jake completely fixed that and she is now very tolerant of other dogs. They both have stopped jumping, barking all the time in the house, and counter surfing. My home is so much more peaceful. I am continuing to work with the dogs and am realizing that I must continue to use the collars and work with the dogs daily to continue to see results. I am very very happy with Jake and All Dogs Unleashed.
