Michelle did a good job with our first property, but our experience with the second has been…read moreextremely disappointing. She failed to send our renewal notice on time, and I had to remind her. Even then, she waited until only 20 days before our lease expired to provide three poor comparables that were clearly not similar to our home. I ended up doing all the market research myself. When I considered ending our agreement, she threatened me with a full year's management fee instead of addressing the issues. We have worked with MR on three properties and even bought one through them, but because of Michelle's lack of effort and unprofessional handling of our account, we will not be using MR again. She argues constantly, never admits she's wrong, and could put in more effort.

We rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience moving into a Marshall Reddick-managed…read moreproperty in Nashville has been extremely disappointing. Prior to signing, we were explicitly told the unit would be professionally cleaned and move-in ready. When we received the keys, that was not the case. The apartment required extensive cleaning, and we ultimately had to hire professional cleaners ourselves after receiving little meaningful remediation despite repeated communication. Since move-in, we have dealt with a long list of unresolved maintenance issues, many of which were documented immediately upon occupancy, including: - a nonfunctional washing machine with standing water and visible mold - a nonfunctional microwave - exterior openings allowing animal activity in the walls/ceiling - a broken mailbox lock (mailbox doesn't close at all) - missing window screens - multiple additional maintenance and safety concerns We are now nearly a month into the lease and all of these items still remain unresolved. To be fair, Michelle eventually stepped in, acknowledged that our move-in experience fell short, and approved a partial rent credit toward the cleaning expense, which we appreciated. However, the overall experience has still felt highly reactive rather than proactive, with much of the burden of coordination falling on us as tenants. The most frustrating part has honestly been the lack of preparedness and follow-through. We understand that maintenance issues can happen, but a unit should not be turned over in this condition after repeated assurances that it was move-in ready. We are hopeful the remaining issues will ultimately be resolved, but wanted to share our experience candidly for anyone considering renting through this management company.

I have a property that was originally managed by a different company and certain things weren't handled in a timely manner which resulted in damages that snowballed into major repairs. Then, after more than 6 months off the market to do the repairs, they had trouble renting it out due to the time of year and the pandemic. Amy took this disaster and turned things around. Thank you Amy!!

I have used Allen Huggins and the WH Properties team to both buy and sell my home in Nashville…read more Allen and the team were consummate professionals throughout both processes, and I am certain that I would not have been able to find such and sell such a great home without them walking me through the process. On the purchase side they kept me regularly updated on homes that hit the market or were scheduled to, connected me with a great local mortgage team and facilitated a smooth closing. On the sale side Allen and the team were patient with our timing and kept us informed through the process of prepping, listing and choosing the correct buyer. They listened to our wants through the process and allowed us input, but let us know if the market would support what we were thinking. In short - if you are looking at buying or selling a home in Nashville, the ONLY brokerage team you should call is WH Properties. I know my experiences would not have gone as smooth or pleasant without their support and expertise.

It's been an immense pleasure working with Angela at BG…read more I'm a long-distance, first-time investor who purchased a rental in Nashville about 9 months ago. Of the 4-5 companies I called, she was the only property manager who was 1) highly responsive, 2) willing to view the property before signing, and 3) willing to advise me throughout the rehab process. She's a very hard worker and keeps up in good faith. She patiently answered 982098 anxiety-ridden questions I had (hey, it's an intimidating experience as a first-timer, okay! :P). She also very much advocated for tenant needs while understanding my own financial capacity well, resulting in solutions that worked for everyone. I'm excited to continue working with BG. Would highly recommend. Thank you so much Angela!!
