Cheapest sausage, cheap fake so-called "Italian sausage." No it is not. Think bulk pork breakfast sausage. The sausage is sadly and suspiciously as bad as Pizza Hut's sausage. Pepperoni was ok, bell peppers were ok, mushrooms from a can tells me the lack of any effort. The crust was as bad as I could imagine, had no flavor, was it trying to compete with cardboard? The chicken wings are chicken nuggets and were ok. Cheese bread was cheap French bread. Service was ok, offered drink refills. But please try listening. I really want to support local businesses but just yuck. Get a clue. Hobnetti's at one point was honest good ingredients. Be honest here and now, the quality of ingredients is not respectable. Customer service was fine overall, though there was some confusion finding our order at pickup. The food unfortunately seemed like it had been sitting awhile, as most of it was not very hot when we arrived on time. The bread side was extremely hard and crispy, the mac and cheese bites were overcooked, and the pizza itself was okay but lacked flavor. That said, the fettuccine Alfredo was genuinely tasty and the favorite of the night for everyone. The restaurant seemed busy with lots of regulars coming and going, so perhaps we caught them on an off night. Perhaps we'd give them another try in the future if we travel back that way.

We wanted to give them another try since there are limited good takeout options during the pandemic. This time (July 2020) we were pleasantly surprised. We got the large "meats" pizza special with cheese bread, using the online coupon from their website. The pizza was *loaded* with toppings. It had some serious heft to it when I picked up the box. The pizza and bread tasted great when we got home. My kids scarfed it down, and the adults enjoyed it too. Maybe the first time was a fluke, or they changed their cheese supplier, sauce spices, or pizza recipes in the past few years. But right now, this is the best pizza in the St. Cloud area, in my humble pizza-loving opinion (and having lived in Chicago for 2 decades, I know pizza!) We will definitely order again! I removed one star from the score for the fact that when I arrived to pick up the pizza, several staff, including the cashier, were not wearing face masks as recommended for all food service personnel by the Minnesota Department of Health during the COVID pandemic.

We had a tough situation after dinner: we were stuck in Princeton with no Uber or ride service to get back to Minneapolis. We were really worried and helpless. Thanks to her kindness and patience, we finally got connected with a local taxi service and made it safely back to Minneapolis. Alex went far beyond great customer service.
