I highly recommend this place. It offers plenty of delicious Peruvian food, the best part is that is authentic and fresh. Waiters are so nice and helpful. Everything was delicious and tasty. The fish chicharrón was so crispy and flavorful. Ceviche was fresh and with perfect balance between the acidity of leche de Tigre and sweetness of the yam. We had a little sip of chicha morada and it was amazing. I can't wait to go back.

Gosh the food here is definitely sooooo good. Don't even think about it, just show up and enjoy watever they bring to your table. Service is upstanding, and the food is on point! Only thing is, I wish they would dim the lights for dinner to create more of an ambiance. You got the drinks, the food, the music, only thing missing... Ambiance. Dim the lights at night!

I grew up in Jackson Heights, NY with pretty authentic Peruvian food. Moving to Lawrence was wonderful but I missed all the different kinds of foods I had just down the block of my home in Jackson Heights. I was a little skeptical before my first time here because most New Yorkers are. I had a ceviche de camarón and lomo salteado. Both brought me right back to Queens. So happy this restaurant delivers every single time whether we eat in or take out. The lomo and the arroz chaufa are my favorites. Eat all the maíz tostado you can. You won't regret it. Today I stopped in to get lunch to go and was offered a complimentary drink- DELICIOUS. It's pisco mixed with pineapple juice infused with basil and lemongrass.

Stopped in for lunch using a special offer from Nift. A gentleman seated us and welcomed us with menus. Appears to be only one menu for both lunch and dinner. When he returned to offer drinks, we opted for ice water we asked him for recommendations as neither my friend nor I are well versed in Peruvian cuisine. He asked if we had a particular food in mind and my friend said beef and for me, seafood. He recommended the lomo Saltado for her and the arroz con camaron for me. As we waited for our meals, he brought over a complimentary appetizer of toasted corn with some mild cheese crumbles. The corn was a bit dry and I think an acquired taste. It didn't take long for the entrees to arrive. My friend received hers about 5 minutes before mine arrived so I picked at hers awaiting mine. The beef was a little over cooked and not of high quality beef, sauce was predominantly a soy taste, the large slightly cooked fresh tomato slices were refreshing and the red onions a nice contrast. My friend enjoyed the consistency of the rice but we weren't fond of having the fries covered in the sauce which made them mushy. Would have preferred the fries on hen side. I was happy with my arroz. There was a good amount of calamari, shrimp and mussels all cooked perfectly and I enjoyed the mushy rice and red sauce. The side slaw/salsa was very vinegary and I felt it didn't compliment the taste of the seafood and rice. The waters were Kirkland brand water bottles brought to the table along with a glass of ice at $2 each. Tap would have been fine. Friendly and welcoming service so a 4 for that. Pricey for lunch so a 3 and a 3.5 for the food. Nicely decorated and clean. We would consider returning to try other selections maybe for dinner.

Authentic, delicious and beautiful Peruvian food. Seafood was extremely fresh and spices well balanced. The owner was really warm and helpful. He helped us pick dishes and had a real passion for his cuisine. Highly recommend!

So we tried this spot after reading the reviews. Food was good. I had the rice with seafood and Peruvian ceviche which was delish. The sauce you could drink on it's own lol. No wait last Friday which was nice but it go busy while we waited for our food. My husband tried had beef which was tender with rice and white beans which were different and tasty. We want to go back to try other things on the menu. They have a bar but had no coffee or dessert yet. The waitress said it's coming soon as they have only opened for several weeks. Street parking and only open Thursday to Sunday

We were so happy to stumble upon this new gem while visiting Lawrence. The restaurant has a very clean and modern design. The service staff was so friendly and sweet. Although the menus are only in Spanish, she was so enthusiastic about helping us make a selection that fit our cravings. My cousin's dish (steak sautéed with onions) was delicious! The steak was well seasoned. I had the bistec (skirt steak) with fried egg on top which lacked in salt, but I still enjoyed it and left satisfied. I would return to try the other items on the menu...but I'm hoping they can create a lunch menu that is easier on the pockets. Spending $50 for 2 at lunch just felt a little steep. Definitely check this out for dinner...it's a family and kid-friendly place with a warm and welcoming vibe. I love the service!

This restaurant is the most authentic Peruvian spot I've been to in Massachusetts! The food is fresh and delicious you will always leave with your stomach happily full. I also recommend their house drink that has pisco and coconut malibu. Came here for a date night with my husband who's Peruvian also and as chefs we're both naturally hard critics but everything was amazing! Service was also awesome and they make you feel like family. We will definitely back again soon!

Good food, horrible service, nice atmosphere, high price food…read more The food is really good. No complaints. It's the service that's horrible. She forgot about my daughter's food, I ordered a kids meal and OJ, and then I changed it... and she said OJ cost way more...and then she forgot about my change - which she got mad it. Why am I paying 11% tip if I had to keep getting up to ask her for things? $12 tip? More like $5.... If that. Mandatory tip is bs.

We were a group of 6 people and were seated right away. They have an extensive menu for food and drinks. Everything is Japanese with some Peruvian flavours. For drinks half of us tried the fruit juices, made fresh. The other half opted for beer. The fruit juice was more like a smoothie. It was incredible and I would have definitely ordered more if I weren't full. It came in a strawberry and a pineapple flavour. I got the strawberry-ginger and it was very refreshing. For appetizers we got vegetable tempura, a shrimp wrapped in plantain tempura, and a chicken avocado tart of some sort. The veg tempura were meh but the rest of the appetizers were phenomenal. Especially the shrimp wrapped in plantain! For mains, some of us got seafood soba noodles, sushi and a fish dish. The food was pretty unique. The soba noodles did not look like soba, I think they used regular ramen noodles instead. However the sauce and seafood flavours were such a hit! Great find in Lawrence! Overall great experience. The service could be nicer. Will definitely be back for an after work dinner.

My husband and I got a last minute date night reservation here, and had the best time. The margaritas are fantastic- perfectly balanced. For food, we ordered the Leche de Tigre Ceviche which was the best combination of taste and texture profiles. The shrimp and pineapple skewer appetizer was delicious as well. For main courses, we got the Seared Duck with Cilantro Rice and the Peruvian stir fried noodles- both outstanding. Truly, not a bad bite was eaten here. They got us pisco shots at the end which were a great way to cap off an epic meal. The service staff was amazing too- the host was sweet and pleasant, and the servers gave excellent recommendations. The menu is quite similar but there are definitely some items that are unique to La Royal. My husband and I both got a drink, I had the maracuya sour and he got a pisco sour which we both enjoyed. The pastel de choclo was a good appetizer before we got our lomo saltado and arroz con pato. The lomo saltado was nice, though we weren't sure if it was supposed to be so soup-y! We didn't mind since we liked the soup though it did get a bit salty after a while. For the arroz con pato - the duck itself was fine. I appreciated that it wasn't dry but it wasn't my favorite. I LOVED the rice paired with the salsa - my personal favorite of the night.

This place is popping! Even though it was later in the evening, the restaurant was still really full. However we didn't have to wait too long to get seated. I loved the decor in here, such neat details and even a column with a dragon on it! So cool. It's a dark restaurant so it was hard to read the menu, but otherwise, it's a very cool vibe here and feels very lounge-y. Our server was awesome, he was friendly and explained the restaurant style to us - it's like tapas, you order a few items to share and recommended 2 - 3 items per person would be sufficient. It was only 2 of us and we shared 3 items total, and that was more than enough. We apparently arrived so late that our server informed us that we only had a short time before the kitchen was closing for the night. But he said that he would return before the kitchen closed in case we wanted to order additional menu items. We were intrigued by the Japanese/Peruvian fusion menu and tried a few things: Kuromitsu Brussel Sprouts Spicy Salmon Fritas Bo Bo Chicken I was most excited about the Bo Bo Chicken a it had a sichuan chili oil and I love spicy, but it was not spicy at all (to me). But the flavor was really good. My favorite was the Brussels sprouts. I loved the char on them and the ginger black honey on it was so good. I don't eat salmon, but my friend said the Salmon Fritas was great and really enjoyed them. I would say this was the best meal we had on our trip!
