    VERY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE…read more I walked in told John the vehicle I was interested in. The first item he wanted was my registration to my car I was trading in. Then he gives me the keys to the car I planned on buying and said you can look at it but you cant drive it! They stated the trade was low because of the interior. The interior had a missing leather piece from the gear box. My seats were fine and they stated all of my interior was in poor condition. John didn't even let me drive the car I was interested in. He was more concerned with gathering my personal information. I should have stopped him and walked out but I didn't. John only concentrated on the negative and not being positive about the car buying process. The employees at the showroom not very friendly, no one said Good Morning. Lastly, while leaving trying to make a cup of coffee - Keurig - and it wasn't working. There was another customer helping me, still wasn't working. The receptionist just staring out the window. I just could not wait to leave that place and annoyed at myself for not just walking out. Buyer beware!

In the end, we called Seth and Gary at the barn and told them exactly what we were looking for. Then within a day, they located the car we want. They showed us the pictures and Carfax. Sold! We verbally confirmed our order over the phone. The car was transported from Michigan to Connecticut in 5 days. Came down there to test drive it one weekend. Confirmed that we indeed wanted it. We picked up the car the following weekend. All of this with no hassles and with transparent pricing. When it is time to buy another low milage, quality used car, we know where to come.

One older Kia to keep Or trade in And the need to have two vehicles when all was said and done We visited the showroom and met Madison (Maddie) Barfield, our Customer Advocate (they don't call them salespeople, and they don't pay commission) last Saturday. She's incredibly knowledgeable and capable, and knows the Kia line and many features very well. We spoke about our needs and expectations, and we ended up looking at a number of vehicles. The gas Sportage didn't get great mileage, the Hybrid was a little more expensive but nearly 50% better mileage, and the plug in hybrid (we thought) was too expensive and required plugging in. But what about the whole issue of still carrying two payments, including one on an older car that was approaching it's 5 year/60 k warranty limit (power train is good to 10/100k at Kia) We started talking about purchasing a second vehicle for our student...the K4 was the perfect blend of style, function, and price for a graduate, right? Maddie introduced us to Bill LeConche, the GM, and he had some ideas... We drove the gas. We drove the HEV, we drove the K4. (Kia has such a great selection of quality vehicles and excellent warranties it's difficult to walk off the lot not seeing something that meets your needs) Maddie continued to assist, answering a ton of questions about functionality (the electronics on these things are amazing), and retrieving different vehicles to check out. Bill crunched the numbers. We had a long chat about the difference between PHEV and HEV. With available incentives, rebates, State programs, the PHEV Sportage became more manageable. And you don't HAVE to plug in. We had an answer! PHEV for us, K4 for our son. But wait, says Bill - what about an SUV for him? Huge style change, but if the numbers work, maybe? The point is, Maddie and Bill worked really hard for this deal. They worked up perhaps 10 different scenarios. They were polite and supportive the entire time. We ended up leaving there tonight (6 days after the journey started) with two brand new PHEV Sportages and trading in the Sorento. It just made sense, and Kia OS helped us see that. Taras Pashchak, the Finance guy, completed all the paperwork for two deals simultaneously. Everyone knows buying a car is like getting a root canal - time consuming, painful, and takes forever (with multiple visits just to add to the fun). The crew at Kia OS did a great job in asking the right questions, meeting our needs, and thinking outside the box. Yes, it still took a while, and multiple visits, but it wasn't painful - it was a great experience. Keep in mind, deals vary tremendously. Ours may not be yours. But they will make it work for YOU.

    WARNING TO POTENTIAL BUYERS -- Ocean Honda Group, Groton, Connecticut…read more I do not usually write reviews, positive or negative, but my family is dealing with a serious situation that others should know about. Using the Navy Federal TrueCar buying service, I referred a close family member to Ocean Honda Group in Groton, Connecticut, because I believed purchasing from a reputable dealership would be safer than buying from a wholesale dealer. Unfortunately, that belief turned out to be misplaced. In February 2026, my family member visited the dealership to view and test-drive a dark gray metallic Honda CR-V that had been advertised through the buying service as a 2022 model. She test-drove that specific vehicle and agreed to purchase that same vehicle based on the dealership's representation that it was a 2022 Honda CR-V. It was only later, in April 2026, after she had already made one payment and was approaching a second, that the dealership informed her the vehicle she had been driving was actually a 2020 Honda CR-V, while her purchase agreement listed a 2022 Honda CR-V. In other words, the vehicle she test-drove, agreed to purchase, and took delivery of was the 2020 Honda CR-V from the very beginning, but it had been presented and sold to her as a 2022 model. To be clear, this was the same vehicle the dealership delivered to her, registered, and placed license plates on. The dealership asked that the vehicle be returned so they could "remedy the situation." When we brought it back, the manager informed us they were waiting for the vehicle matching her contract VIN to be returned by another buyer. We asked how such a serious error could have happened, but no clear explanation was provided. Now, several days later, they are still waiting to recover the correct vehicle. Nearly three months after purchase, and after making payments, my family member is now without a car while this situation remains unresolved. The explanation given was that the two vehicle colors were "so close you couldn't tell the difference." That was difficult to accept, since one vehicle is silver and the other is dark gray. This experience raises serious concerns about inventory control, paperwork accuracy, and customer service. My advice to anyone considering purchasing from this dealership: Verify that the VIN on the vehicle matches all paperwork before signing. Confirm that the VIN matches your insurance and registration documents. Review every dealership document carefully. Do not assume everything has been verified correctly. Their advertising emphasizes trust, but trust must be supported by accuracy, accountability, and proper handling of mistakes. Based on this experience, I would not refer friends or family members to this dealership again.

I had been shopping with other deals and was refreshed by how simply he made the initial process. The car itself was a diamond in the rough and I purchased it two days later. After about a week I noticed increasingly more noticeable brake pulsation/vibration which I know (from years working in the automotive industry) to be indicative of warped brake rotors. Made an appointment with Westbrook Honda two days before my CPO warranty ran out, upon inspection it was deemed that the rotors needed to be resurfaced. I was hesitant and preferred to have them replaced. Reluctant to look a gift horse in the mouth, I expressed my concern to Shannon (the service advisor) and she spoke to Dan who had them go ahead and do it. I am grateful and appreciative of the positive experience I had with Westbrook Honda. I live 1 hour away and it is well worth my drive. Kudos to Sales Manager Dan and Service Advisor Shannon for being understanding, accommodating and receptive. I worked in this industry for 10 years prior to moving into aerospace and it is full of bad actors and con artists. None of that here. I highly recommend them for sales and service!!!

Not here, Riccie was fair and allowed me anytime because I was the first one so when he knew that I was interested he held the Vehicle for me. The vehicle is in Massapequa New York so I needed a little bit of time since I live in Bergen County, New Jersey, which is about an hour and a half away with traffic. It was about two hours. He was very communicative about the whole process and how to get everything set up beforehand in case I decided to take the vehicle so that way it will be a quick transaction and I was not obligated to take the vehicle if I decided against it. I had a wonderful experience. The car was detailed beautifully. He was 100% true to price. The price he had listed was the price I went home at and since I'm out of state I will go to the DMV myself which is fine. He helped me get my enterprise vehicle to enterprise and then sent a car to pick me up. Overall, I was really pleasantly surprised that I absolutely loved the car to drive down get in the car during the test I'd be allowed to have that time with the car to feel how I felt and I opened every window and everyone doors and everything used each car was awesome When my car was totaled, I was so afraid that I was not at the front a car that was as nice since I had just spent 15,000 on it last year and insurance never gives you the same amount but I found a car that I honestly think is nicer and although it had a little bit more miles like by 10,000 maybe this brand will last longer than the car I had and I couldn't be happier. One evening while filling her up, another patron was commenting on what beautiful shape my truck was in and I mentioned that I was looking to get it undercoated before winter set in, and he directed me to M&M Motors for that, as well as anything else I might need 'cause the shop is the best in the area. Long story short and after reading all the 5-star reviews on YELP! I went in and spoke to "Mack", one of the 2 owners about my pride and joy. That was about a year ago, and I have to say, that this shop is one of [if not] the very best all around mechanical repair shop i have ever had the pleasure of doing business with in the 65+ years I've been driving every sort of automobile you can imagine. Mack and his brother Mike, and their crew have fulfilled my every need and are just the best in every sense of the word when it comes to everything automotive . . . I DO NOT EXAGERATE ! ! ! And, as a matter of fact, They also operate a totally legitimate used car business across the street from the repair shop, catering to the general public and their own clientele. There is not enough room on this YELP page to even begin to describe what these people can and will do to effect any repair you need, or find the automobile of your dreams. They conduct their business, and themselves by what I call the "3-R"s . . . Reliable, Responsible, and Reasonable!!! P.S.
