This has been my go to salon for years. The last time I came they charged me $215 for nail art…read more(simple design that required some technique but WAS NOT hand painted) on medium long nails. Seeing that they've charged other customers $150/160 for more intricate designs on longer nails makes me feel robbed and descriminated against. Hoping I can update this interview soon. Edit: $215 not $250. While beautiful, I went to several salons in the area and not one quoted over $150. A stamp using one color is not an intricate hand painted design. Edit 2: 1stly I ALWAYS tip except this one time where I rightfully felt like I was being robbed. It took 2 nail techs to even do the design because the first didn't know how to use the stamp. I was told pricing was due to my nail length and the "specialty" stamping plates ordered from another country (they are $5 on amazon from China and ofc are reusable). Consistency is what matters. Not robbing your customers based on skin tone is what matters. Customer service and not being rude to loyal customers is what matters. Several people are in the comments complaining about random exorbitant pricing and "Nikki" right beneath me has longer nails and was charged $60 less. I'll update the girlies on where they should go when I find a new shop in midtown wishing YOU all the best.

I had such a great experience here that I actually went back the very next day for a pedicure! I…read morefirst came across this salon on Yelp while I was in the neighborhood waiting for my daughter's half-day summer camp. I wanted to replace my old set with Cat Eye gel nails (猫眼美甲), and I'm so glad I chose this spot. The ladies here are super friendly--warm without being overly chatty--and very attentive while doing the nails. I love how my new nails turned out, and the pedicure was just as great. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in the area!

I went in for a regular manicure, and the experience was extremely disappointing. From the…read morebeginning, the technician seemed more interested in getting a tip than providing good customer service. She kept pressuring me to leave a tip, which made me feel very uncomfortable and was completely inappropriate. They also charged me extra for gel polish removal, even though I was not charged for it during my previous visit. The unexpected extra charge was frustrating, and the way everything was handled felt unprofessional. A tip should be given voluntarily based on the quality of service, not demanded or pressured out of customers. Good customer service, respect, and transparency in pricing are the bare minimum, and unfortunately, this salon failed in all three areas. I would not recommend this salon. They seem more focused on money and tips than on customer satisfaction. I will not be returning. Very Disappointing Experience

I was a little skeptical of all the amazing reviews, but I understand why now. you gotta go up to…read morethe third floor & to your left once you get up there. it's a small studio space, located at the very end of the hall, with 2 desks, Ting and another nail tech - which means, it's typically just you and another client. the office is well ventilated so there's no smell. they don't have any gel polish except for leaf gel premium. it was a very interesting experience for sure. I made a same day appointment, because I didn't know if I would be in that area. Ting was accommodating, even though I didn't book with her. I was booked with a student of hers. the nail tech was very detailed in her cuticle clean up. she definitely took her time making sure my extensions were done to the correct length. I did have to correct her in terms of design. I wanted it done according to the photo where it was on the pink, ring and middle & she started putting it on my middle, index and thumb. her line work wasn't bad, but definitely can tell where she stopped and started a line. also you won't get any treatments along with your manicure here, it's just the manicure - no lotion, no wax, but I am 100% fine with that as they put a lot of time into your nails. my only gripe was she put way too much glue under my nails. I ended up messaging Ting the next day who was willing to see me and to clean me up! she ended up apologizing & did a fabulous job grinding down the glue! I love the way my nails look & I'd 100% return next time I'm in the area!

Great job on the nails!! Loved it. It also did not take long. It took about an hour and 15 mins.read more
