Wanted money for the parts they could not get to work. The owner said they could fix my bike, could not, put it on the back burner - didn't call me once (took a month) then wanted to charge me. However, I'm still stewing and frustrated that my bike is still broken after being charged $250 for a tune up and a tire replacement and being nice didn't fix that. The front tire wobbles after being replaced, the bike is very very hard to peddle to make it move forward, the brakes aren't tight and the front brake doesn't grab the front tire so it's useless, and they put a sticker on my bike. As stupid as the sticker part sounds, how would you feel if every mechanic threw a bumper sticker on your car? Why haven't I called them to re-look at the bike? I don't want to spend at-least another $250 to have them come "fix" the bike. The bike is old and they knew that coming in to this. It needed a total overhaul, which I was very clear about and I thought we both understood this. I'm very disappointed and frustrated that I still need to invest more money into this bike to have it fixed.

I like Karl to succeed, yes it cost a little more, but he is okay with me watching, teach me how to do simple maintenance, how to ride better, and within 2 hrs, I have my bike back and riding off into day... I like not having to drop my bike off and never seeing it for 3 weeks, and if I ask to watch the repairs/maintenance I usually get the excuse, no customer in the back, so I can't even be sure it is being worked on, only to trust that it is.

While our store is smaller, I've found that the staff members are wonderful. Each section, such as bikes, shoes, electronics, etc., has dedicated employees that are knowledgeable, and they have great patience and bedside manner. Just today, I took my mom shoe shopping, and the wonderful lady, I think her name was Lily, at the shoe department, found the perfect shoes for my mom. We've never even heard of Altra, but it's a brand of shoes that is zero to low drop, with natural width toe boxes, and comes as both trail running and pavement running shoes. She answered all, and I think that should be ALL, underlined, and in bold, of my mom's questions, until I was finally able to drag mom away, to pay for the shoes.
