I love you Savers. This location has single-handedly furnished my apartment and has refreshed my entire wardrobe. The staff here are pretty chill, and are especially kind towards regulars. The crew in the furniture section are always quick to help me find what I'm looking for or keep an eye out for me. Compared to all of the goodwills, and even the nearby ReStore, this is gonna be your best bet price-wise. This is the first thrift store that I've been to that rotates its inventory based on the season. All of the furniture that I've purchased here has been for less than $20, and I'm talking about good hardwood furniture and even a 7ft silk sofa wrapped in the OG plastic protectant. For my fellow DIYers, you'll come across sewing machines often here, some built into tables with full kits for about $15 - $25. There is also a rack for scrap fabric, and abandoned knitting projects in the back. This location is in the prime spot, as it receives donations from all demographics. So whatever your style is, you're bound to find something you'll like here. read more

Everyone knows that every thrift store is hit or miss. I'm not talking about the likelihood of finding a banger. I'm frustrated in finding literal trash for sale. Why is there the the handlers for Christmas lights on sale for 3 dollars each? Bonkers. Also, the inconsistencies of pricing is frustrating. A no name brand beat up pair of sneakers is 14$, but a brand new pair of name brand vans is 10? I love how organized savers is. But some stuff is so frustrating at times. read more

Had some old clothes to donate so thought I'd come here to give back, then stop in the store for some shopping. There are aisles galore in this place! I've never seen so many things. Walked through the books first and saw a few by local artists that were cool. Lots of knick knacks and glassware you could fill a whole house. Even saw a bathroom sign about brushing teeth which reminded me I needed to brush mine when I got home. Walked towards the clothing section but saw someone just open mouth sneeze all over the bedsheets in that aisle and was instantly turned away. I felt if I stayed much longer I'd wake up tomorrow with a head cold after seeing him just disrespect the store like that. On the better end of thrift stores but could use a thorough dusting and vacuuming as I could feel my allergies starting to act up towards the end of my visit. read more

We had a great time at Savers yesterday. One star off because there don't seem to be any fitting rooms. There were several women trying on clothes in the aisles. They must have shopped here before, because they had on appropriate under-things so they weren't scandalous. I was not as prepared, and didn't feel comfortable stripping down to my bra to try on some dresses. Happily, when I returned home and tried them on, all five dresses fit. It was quite crowded for the middle of the day on a Thursday. It took us about a half hour to gain access to the small wall section of CDs, and then it wasn't worth all that effort. My mom had the best time looking through the junk section, and came away with several Christmas themed tins for cookies and other sweets she tends to give as gifts this year. She also managed to find three long-sleeved shirts that were just perfect for her. I recommend looking through the mens short sleeve shirts section for all the graphic tees. We found a marvelous shirt about Mickey's Bar Mitzvah being a "rocking good time," as well as a yellow shirt with Deadpool and tacos on it. I found a Roadrunner shirt, and an adorable "Y'all mean All" ringer tee. I can't decide if I like this store more than Prime Thrift in Edgewood (1955 Pulaski Hwy, Edgewood, MD 21040). They're both highly entertaining, and chock-full of treasures. Would recommend both. read more

Just like any thrift store, Savers can be a hit or a miss. However, I can't remember a time I've ever left here empty handed so take that as you will! It's definitely not the cleanest place (the bathrooms are nasty and floors are dusty) but you can find some real hidden gem items here. I will say that the pricing is seemingly all over the place. I've seen brands from Free People, Urban Outfitters, or Banana Republic priced around $5.50 a piece while stuff from Target or H&M is priced around $11+. My boyfriend has found a London Fog trench coat for next to nothing and brand new Dickie's pants for $2. Whereas I've unknowingly purchased a SheIn coat (didn't see the tag till I got home) for $15. So there doesn't really seem to be a rhyme or reason to the prices. The biggest con to this place is the lack of fitting rooms. They used to have quite a few at one point and then during the pandemic they got rid of them and never brought them back. It's frustrating because there's only so many mirrors you can use and you have to try on stuff over your clothes. If you're planning to shop here, you'll have to be strategic with what you wear so you can try things on without giving everyone a show. Things are organized as best as they can be considering the sheer volume of items in-store. I've even found some good home items like artwork or picture frames for super cheap. While no thrift store is perfect, and Savers certainly isn't either, I never pass up an opportunity to stop by if I'm in the area and have time to kill. read more

If you look hard enough you can find some nice things at nice prices. The place isnt the cleanest. But its a thrift store so a lot of atuff comes in dusty and dirty. Have come across some thing that should have been tossed out. One of them being an old pickle jar with no lid they were trying to sell for $3. Did get a good laugh out of that. But also have seen some pots and pans that were rusty, appliances that were filthy and missing pieces. Id just stay with looking at some of the clothes. The rest is mostly junk. This place is so big and has so much stuff, it took me awhile just to check everything out. I didn't find my end tables but left with some home goods and clothes!! This was my first thrift store trip since moving to the Baltimore location. I was a little surprised, it was pretty big and well organized, completely not what I was expecting. I spent quite a bit of time in the store, I mainly went in looking for Big Wall mirrors, for my fitness room inside my home. I didn't find that, but I can never go into a secondhand store and walk out empty handed, I did find a couple of items that I ended up purchasing as well as my son, he has been wanting to go here since he was working Safeway in the area, he found a few things as well. read more

I bought a box yesterday that supposedly contained an inflatable Santa and inflatable rings to toss on the Santa hat. When I got it home, there was no Santa in the box. I just tried to return it and I know that they only allow exchanges, I chose my exchange. They refused- Policy! I have been donating and shopping at Savers since they opened. I will never go back and make it known to all my friends to stay away! I live 1.5 miles and have a lot of friends that have been donating and buying for years. Horrible customer service. My girlfriend wanted to buy a pair of shoes which were missing the price tag. The cashier took them and chucked them into a basket on the floor and informed us that you can't buy untagged stuff and the price people weren't there so they couldn't be fixed. She was very rude about it all. She did tell us we could speak to a manager, who was also completely unhelpful. He said they would be put with all other shoes and priced the next day because only pricers can price things...but I'm pretty sure a manager at any retail store can do the job of anybody else if they need to. He also refused to hold them because "we don't hold merchandise... that's just not our policy." Well, obviously your policies are kinda dumb. Oh, and he laughed like I was dumb for even asking if they could. Obviously these are extraordinary circumstances...at the very least he could have put them at the beginning of the pricing queue but he said they would be at the end so "who knows when they will get around to it...might not even be tomorrow". This used to be my favorite thrift store! During my last visit I was blown away by how expensive they have made everything. Things that are typically 2.99 are now 9.99. Tchotchkes are now $12.99 +. The massive price increases are throughout the store. Used clothing is now almost the price of new clothing. Target has better deals .I am so disappointed! I hope they rethink this move. read more

This store is just okay. You can obviously see the people who price their products are ignorant to how much the items actually cost. Most things you can get brand new by just adding a couple bucks at places like TJ Max and Marshall's. They also obviously don't know the different brands. Mall brands should not be more then special store brands. They sell Express dress shirts from $9.99 to $14.99. They are less the $16 brand new at Gabe's which is less then 5 minutes from Savers. When I was there last (7/4/19) they had commercials playing for their store over the PA system. Several times a commercial came on saying their employees work hard to make sure only the best things hit the shelves/racks. If this is true then why do I consistently find clothes with holes, rips, missing buttons, arm pit stains, broken zippers, etc. You can go to The Book Thing of Baltimore and get free books..... all the books you want. Not sure why anyone pays their very high prices here with it being a thrift store. The furniture section can be very over priced too. They get a lot of IKEA furniture. But they don't seem to do the research. They usually mark it for what it sells in the store or maybe just a little less. The Goodwill is better option. Every last Saturday of the month they have half off clothing that is not new from target. read more

Shoppers has an ever changing items in store. You never know what you can find. A good place for clothes as well as kitchen items and just general cool stuff. The staff is friendly and helpful. When you drop off your items for donations to pick up née stuff the staff is great. read more

I LOVE thirfit stores and I was so excited when Savers came to Towson! The first time I visited a Savers was in Hawaii in 2004 and I thought I would never be able to step in one again until now! Savers is bright, clean and well organized! They have clothes - dresses, blazers, tank tops, shoes and accessories for women and a quite extensive male selection full of Huxtable sweaters and whatever you desire! There is also a little bit of furniture, some electronics and knick knacks - you will most likely be able to find something in this superstore of thrift so stop by and check them out! read more

This place used to be great when it first opened.... but now it is OVERPRICED and TERRIBLE. I've had employees tell me directly that management is intentionally hiking prices to make more money. I've seen clothing priced more than the original tag, of which was still connected to the shirt. This all happened recently. I know for a fact they re-priced ALOT of items because I go there quite regularly. Shirts went from $2-8 up to $8-20 overnight. At that rate, I'd drive up the street to the Goodwill or across the street to Gabes, Ross, or Burlington and buy the item brand new. Pricing is the problem here - if the owners wanted to get rich they shouldn't have opened a thrift store. On the bright side, they've lost a great deal of customers because of price hikes so it shouldn't be crowded. . read more

I'll forever thrift and Savers is one of my go to spots to satisfy that itch. They have frequent deals and promotions, it's very spacious a reasonably priced. I've found some of my favorite pieces here. Recommend coming throughout the week, avoiding weekends and holidays because it can get pretty busy. read more

Gotta love thrift stores. I have no problem with owning someone's seconds. The place is huge! It was calling my naaaaaaame, so ya know what had to be done. Now, the purses were pricey for a thrift store, but I ain't too mad. I love me some Vera Bradley, so I was all over the purses and wristlets. With a pair of flats and two purses, my bill came to $60. Yes, yes, Savers is probably the most expensive second-hand store I've ever been to, but the selection almost makes up for the price. Almost. The purses and flats were in great condition, too. I just wish my brown bag wasn't nearly $30, but it's a retired print. They probably sell it on Amazon for $100. Plus, the people there are pretty nice. I asked to see about every purse behind the counter and the woman working the register didn't get upset. Definitely worth a few more visits while I'm in town. read more

The clothes can be fairly outdated, but ultimately, they're at great prices and in decent shape. If you look as hard as I do, you'll find some hidden treasures (such as fashionable H&M dresses and spiffy/sleek bright yellow and cobalt blue tennis shoes). There's also a side store, which encompasses multiple sellers (like an indoor flea market). It's not 100% set up just yet, but it's worth a look! read more

This is my one stop shop for kid's clothing when I don't have enough to get them from more pricey locations. Yeah, the selection is a little hit and miss for kid's clothes, but at like 3 bucks for a pair of jeans? An entire school wardrobe for like 50 bucks??? I'm always willing to give it a try. Plus they have an amazing selection of costume and fancy jewelry, cool books, little odds and ends, and I always get my purses here. They recently remodeled the store I think and now everything is in a different place, but the entire area looks more cleaned up and organized. Before I remember it being a little claustrophobic and disorganized, but I expected that sort of thing with a thrift store. But NOW it's got the feel of a real outlet store. So idk??? Savers is a sizable store with a large selection of items including clothes, shores, houseware, books, and kids items. Normally it isn't too busy, but it can get really busy when there is a good sale going on! For example, I happened to come here on Memorial Day and everything was 50% off! And there were quite a few customers taking advantage of this. They have 6 dressing rooms including one that can accommodate a wheelchair or cart. Thrift-shopping has been given a mighty boost in the Baltimore metro area with the arrival of this store! During the same week: so-so hold-out, Village Economy Thrift closed it's doors on North Ave, to the dismay of many an art school regular that could easily trek across the street. (The existence and closing of that store, ofcourse, holds a dim light to the once legendary Veterans' Warehouse holding court on the other end of North Ave in the 1990's, which caused this writer to drop-in no less than 3 times a week in it's hey-day). Fear not good thrifting lost in this dilapidated economy- it appears the phoenix could be rising again! Enter: Savers Thrift Superstore, which fills a former mid-size supermarket niche beside the Joppa Rd 695-W ramp. It's worth mentioning here that nearby thrift stalwarts about a mile down the road have undergone changes; With the Salvation Army Thrift Store mysteriously calling it quits and the adjacent Goodwill Superstore all at once getting a heavy preening and price hike that would do any suburban mom proud with bland second-hand shopping to be had at best. This store is performing on the merits of grand opening weekend alone right now. But given that I arrived at 7PM to a nearly filled parking lot with many license plates reading from PA and beyond, it seems probable that the floor was being restocked throughout the day on basis of my finds. And that should be a good prompt to check back regularly if it keeps up showing such vital signs. I expected to be there maybe 45 minutes and instead stayed for 2 hours with a full cart at check-out! read more

Savers is an awesome place to get clothing for cheap. I've run in to get slacks for work, and was able to find five pair, try them on, and get out the door having invested a total of 20 minutes and $40 or so. One pair fell apart after a while, due to the seams having a bit more use than normal - too many times through a washer and dryer, I guess. The other pairs of pants have held up really well in regular work rotation. They have a wide selection of baby and toddler clothes, too, for great prices. We found a winter coat for a 3-year old girl, only $5.99, and some long-sleeved shirts and jeans for about $1.50-$1.99 apiece. read more

Holy shit Savers, y'all have lost your minds with these prices!! I haven't been here in a while, so I decided to stop by tonight and see what bargains I could find. In the past (I haven't been here in about 4 months) I could usually find a few things and stay in my budget, but not tonight. I was told by an employee that the store has new pricers, and it showed in every department, especially the coat section. I understand marking up fur coats, but literally every single coat was at least $20!!! I'm giving two stars because the book section here never disappoints, and I'm hoping in the near future that these new employees in the back room get some sense and realize you can't charge these kinds of prices at a freaking thrift store! I visit Savers multiple times a week. At least once a week I have to walk out the store and leave my purchases in the cart because I don't have the time to wait 45 plus minutes in a line of 40 to 50 people. They almost never have enough cashiers even though they have more than enough registers. One time I was so determined to make my purchase I had to grab a chair and sit in line because they were down to one cashier. I then asked the store manager why they don't hire more cashiers since they are constantly busy and she thought it was perfectly OK to wait in long lines. That's Terrible customer service. They make a huge amount of money at Savers. They can certainly afford hiring more cashiers and to pay them more! Duh! read more
