We were in the area and decided to stop by. This savers is pretty big. If you donate you get a coupon for 20% off. This place had the best books I literally had to stop myself at 4 and walk away. They had pretty good jeans. I also found that the bra section had a lot so I took a few. Try well organized clothes. If you're in the area definitely worth stopping by.

I have an event coming up later tonight, so I decided to check out Savers selection of dresses. I was not disappointed

We had a great time at Savers yesterday. One star off because there don't seem to be any fitting rooms. There were several women trying on clothes in the aisles. They must have shopped here before, because they had on appropriate under-things so they weren't scandalous. I was not as prepared, and didn't feel comfortable stripping down to my bra to try on some dresses. Happily, when I returned home and tried them on, all five dresses fit. It was quite crowded for the middle of the day on a Thursday. It took us about a half hour to gain access to the small wall section of CDs, and then it wasn't worth all that effort. My mom had the best time looking through the junk section, and came away with several Christmas themed tins for cookies and other sweets she tends to give as gifts this year. She also managed to find three long-sleeved shirts that were just perfect for her. I recommend looking through the mens short sleeve shirts section for all the graphic tees. We found a marvelous shirt about Mickey's Bar Mitzvah being a "rocking good time," as well as a yellow shirt with Deadpool and tacos on it. I found a Roadrunner shirt, and an adorable "Y'all mean All" ringer tee. I can't decide if I like this store more than Prime Thrift in Edgewood (1955 Pulaski Hwy, Edgewood, MD 21040). They're both highly entertaining, and chock-full of treasures. Would recommend both.

I suppose they do a decent enough business with the college kids. There was also a fantastic pink pimp furry coat for anyone who wanted to dress up as cotton candy for Halloween- I WAS there looking for Halloween outfits, but the coat was much too large for me. I made Jeremy try it on and the people nearby all seemed greatly amused, as was I. He also tried on this burgundy bathrobe that could have been some decent pimpwear. We didn't buy anything.

I've come in here before and left empty handed and other times left with a full haul of treasures. On a recent visit, I was interested in the glassware and ceramics section and managed to find a ton of amazing steals. Most items ranged from $1-$2 which I appreciated since other donation type thrift stores seem to be charging a lot more nowadays. I also found a gorgeous genuine leather purse for only $12 and of course, had to take it home with me. I would recommend checking out this Goodwill for accessories and home goods. Although, the clothing is a bit harder to sift through and I haven't had much luck myself.

I had asked them for 12 sheets of luan and they needed to be in good shape because I was using them on an exposed ceiling. The manager came over and I told him I needed them undamaged and he look at me with a very disrespectful stare and said that I was funny.... He was very ignorant and wasn't happy the staff were helping me. I checked over the luan that they pulled for me and a few were damaged and I didn't want to waste time having them put them back and get other ones so I told him I didn't want them and he can put them back. I just went to Home Depot and got the same thing in pristine condition for $0.50 more per sheet. They are overpriced there and management is horrible so goto another location or the Loading Dock in Baltimore. I buy stuff there and management is helpful and not ignorant.... He should be fired and never work in customer service or management of any type.... I hope he reads this. I am sure all of the staff know who I am talking about and they share my comment. He was probably in his 50s and had some crazy red or reddish blonde hair.... He had this crazy look on his face like he was always mad.... Steer clear...
