I only wish I knew about this place sooner! The consignment process is super easy and staff is very accommodating. You can either drop off your consignment items or wait and shop in-store for staff to process your items. You get a text when they are finished and you can decide whether you want a cash payment or a slightly greater amount store credit. They have the absolute cutest clothes for kids ages 0-12 and everything is sorted by size and gender, and refreshed for the current season. I find both the consignment payment rate and the in-store prices for items reasonable. Check their website for consignment criteria and policies so you know what to expect. I usually come here for clothes as a first place to look. It's cheaper than new, more expensive than Goodwill/Facebook marketplace, but clean and well-organized so it's an easy way to save money. Also, if you create an account, they'll text you a credit for a free book every month. I love it! I've gotten Goodnight Moon, The Little Engine That Could, and other great books. Also, they occasionally have good sales. I think around the end of June/beginning of July some summer stuff will really get marked down. I have sold clothes and shoes. They are selective, but sometimes buy items and you may either choose store credit or cash. Also, they do have a few maternity items. Very very unimpressed with the selection. I brought in a full bag of brand new items including NIKE and was offered $13!! I wanted to get my items back and walk away and so was told that once I drop off, that's it. I MUST take the offer. The cashier sensed my anger and frustration and I was told that I would receive $15 rather than $13 (this was a subsequent phone call). When I came to pick up the measly $15 after I returned from being out of town a week later I was told, they had no record of the increase in the offer. I've always loved Kid to Kid, but this one, I would not recommend. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 star, because the owner was fairly pleasant. read more

The best and most affordable kids consignment store in the area! I went in a few weeks ago because my daughter needed a winter coat. I snagged a black and pink Columbia jacket for under $7 and a fuzzy teal North Face coat for less than $10 (in excellent used condition!) They run a lot of sales and offer a free book ($1.99 or less which is the cost of 80% of the books they have) once a month. The parking is easy, especially if you enter the back of the shopping center off Timonium Road, instead of driving through the center off York. Selling to them is easy too, like every other consignment store don't expect to get a lot for your items. I always opt to do the store credit to earn more back since I end up spending my money in the store anyway. read more

They have a great selection of clothes and toys and books for discount prices. Many of the items are unused (have original tags). We got brand new baby vans for $20 and most of the clothes are $5 or less. All of my Christmas gift for my son came from here. I go here often to restock my baby's closet every time he grows! 4 stars because many of the staff look and act miserable to be there... we will say thank you as we are walking out every time and without fail every time we get ignored. This store is ok for buying but HORRIBLE for selling. I used to love the Kid to Kid in Cockeysville and felt they paid fair prices for nice clothing, but this location is the worst! They will give you $1or less for every single item of clothing no matter the brand or how nice condition it is in. There are pretty sneaky about how they do it too. You need to drop it off at the counter and they tell you you can leave and come back or browse in the store while they go through your things. They select what they want and immediately hide it from you view. When you come back, they hand you what they wont take (which is usually 80-90% of what you brought)and say "we were are able to take 5 things today" and so you can have $5 in cash or $5.50 in store credit, which do you prefer?" and you are sitting there like "Wait, what things did you take?, because if it was the 5 Vineyard Vines things, I rather keep them then give to you for $5." But once you have dropped off and signed in , THAT IS IT! THEY WONT GIVE THEM BACK TO YOU - you have to take their offer! So they can take 10 Lily dresses and offer you $5 if they want. Scummy business practice. You leave feeling taken advantage of. Seriously, sell your nicer things on ebay or poshmark, or a fb moms group you will do way better money wise. Not a fair price paid for items ever. read more
