I've been in the store recently and have noticed employees shopping, telling other employees what…read morethey are shopping for, having items put aside for them. Some of the staff are rude, push by you before saying excuse me. Having conversations on the phone while on the floor. The main thing I noticed was around Christmas there was items coming out to be bought that was not on the floor but rather from the back. Back with the other owner I remember seeing employees hiding merchandise and getting them when they get off their shift, I thought with the new owners things would be different.

My most prominent observation was the fact that the majority of the store (minus the furniture…read moresection) was impressively organized. The shoes are colour-grouped, which is surprisingly nice. The kitchenware and houseware section was a little lacking in stock, but there was plenty else to sift through. Tons of ladies skinny jeans, a lot of name brand shoes, a crapload of vinyl (I doubt anything super cool, but who knows), so on and so on. They have everything you would expect from a Goodwill. The one thing I'd change would be the prices. They're a little high for a second-hand shop if you ask me, and pricier than other Goodwills.

When I walked into the store, I was not greeted at all by the staff. I stood at the register for maybe a minute or two before a young man greeted me. He asked if I signed in on the little computer and I told him it was my first time here. He told me to enter my phone # and asked me how many bags I had. I told him I had 1 bag and a bundle of shoes in boxes. He then told me they would appraise my stuff which will take about 2 hours and then they can text me to let me know that stuff has been appraised. He or anyone else never explained to me how this whole process works. I went in blind and I was blindsided. When I went back, there was a young girl there who checked me out and her name was Tanya. She said they only accepted 7 items of mine and they were giving me $53 in cash and $66 in store credit. She handed me a slip and asked me to sign and mark off how I would I like to be paid. I checked off the cash amount and signed. Tanya never informed me that once I sign, I cannot change my mind. I then asked her how would I know what they paid me for each item? She went through the stuff they bought and told me the price they were paying. I had 2 Michael Kors purses that they bought and one of them they paid me $39.99 but I was to only get $13 for it. So I was to only get 1/3 of the price. WTF! I looked at Tanya like she was crazy. I stated what items I would like back and she proceeded to tell me there were NO REFUNDS since I cashed out and there was nothing she could do. I took the stuff they did not buy and went out to my vehicle. I was so upset at this point that I had to walk out. After sitting in my car for a while and calming down, I walked back in the store and asked to speak to the manager. Tanya pointed to the manager...Laura. As I spoke with Laura, she reiterated the same thing that Tanya had told me earlier regarding the NO REFUND policy and NO RETURN for Items they bought. I explained to Laura that the process and policy was not told me BEFORE I signed the receipt. Laura apologized and said there was nothing she could do. I just broke down crying at this point. I was so upset that I could not continue to talk to Laura. She was so surprised and I know that she felt bad. She gently touched my shoulder and told me to wait a moment and she would see what she could do. She got on the phone and began doing her magic for me. She asked me what one item I would like back and I told her the black Michael Kors purse. I gave her the difference in money back and was refunded my purse. I thanked Laura and gave her a hug. Laura was FABULOUS! As for the company itself it may be great in some ways as in offering to buy gently used name brand items at a good price BUT they do not compensate well for new or gently used brand name purses and shoes. I would rather donate my items to someone in need! I felt their prices, for consignment clothing, shoes and purses were very high. They buy your items for next to nothing and they resell them for a higher price. I will not return as a vendor or a customer. What a joke. Save your time and donate your clothes to somebody that needs them. This store is worthless. I will stick to my Buy/Sell/Trade sites on FB Marketplace and Amazon...it might take a little longer but it's worth it. Unless you just want to get rid of your stuff and you don't care what you are paid for it, then this place is for you! D-

I was looking for something specific- a soup pot that I could use to make cola ham... my sister…read moreused to make one every Thanksgiving and I was craving it. Every year my sister would utterly destroy the pot she used to make the ham. We all knew she wasn't following the recipe properly, but that ham was so darned good we were willing to sacrifice the pot. The thrift boutique doesn't offer a lot of kitchen stuff. We made a quick lap of the store and left within 2 minutes. Its a small shop and could possibly have something you'd like... Unfortunately the front entrance is a huge hassle. Two doors - making it impossible for someone to hold them both open simultaneously for a wheelchair user to enter. There's no way to get through the second door without running over the door holder and being slammed with the first. I suggest removing the second door for easier access. Happy hunting.

For my eyes it was too much, part thrift store, part banquet hall, part child care learning center. You have to walk though the thrift store to locate the restroom. The hall have table and chairs but are surrounded by sofas and end tables. I think its trying to be every thing for the community. Some things can not be a one stop shop. One it do a better lay out is needed. Not sure the cost to rent the space as I was a guest.

Went in to look around for some materials for my garage and some of the young guys working there…read morewere very helpful until some arrogant manager came over and sarcastically asked them what they were doing. I had asked them for 12 sheets of luan and they needed to be in good shape because I was using them on an exposed ceiling. The manager came over and I told him I needed them undamaged and he look at me with a very disrespectful stare and said that I was funny.... He was very ignorant and wasn't happy the staff were helping me. I checked over the luan that they pulled for me and a few were damaged and I didn't want to waste time having them put them back and get other ones so I told him I didn't want them and he can put them back. I just went to Home Depot and got the same thing in pristine condition for $0.50 more per sheet. They are overpriced there and management is horrible so goto another location or the Loading Dock in Baltimore. I buy stuff there and management is helpful and not ignorant.... He should be fired and never work in customer service or management of any type.... I hope he reads this. I am sure all of the staff know who I am talking about and they share my comment. He was probably in his 50s and had some crazy red or reddish blonde hair.... He had this crazy look on his face like he was always mad.... Steer clear...
