This is definitely a diamond in the rough, one of my favorite thrift stores outside of Baltimore.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! You must check it out! If you are into wacky and wild to country decor this is…read morethe place. It's a Father (Pop) Daughter (Karen) owned shop with a welcome home feel from the owners every time you visit. The building is old and needs updated but don't let this deter you from from visiting this shop. You will find home decor of all kinds, jewelry, furniture, kitchen supplies, arts/craft supplies, candles, electronics, clothes, and kids toys, and more! Did I mention how CHEAP EVERYTHING is?? Well It is the prices are extremely fair, and to top it off Karen runs 20 to 25 percent off quite often, you can't beat that!!! Also they have a great selection of holiday items seasonally, and at the end of the season (this year for X-mas items 50% off) she runs a big sale! If you wanna spruce up your place for whatever reason get your buns down here! Remember if you don't find something for you this time, you will next time items are updated weekly with new arrivals! ***I decorate my house in a kind of wacky Moroccan inspired boho look, I guess thats a good description, and I never stop decorating! lol so if that something you like I get alot of fun and interesting items here! I even bought an awesome orange living room set with a full sized couch, over-sized chair and a large comfy ottoman for 150 bucks, with 20% off, orignally a 3,000 dollar set!!!!!!! ***They also have a big fat black cat named Trixie, she's a cutie!

Recently while on a girl's trip this area we hit up this Goodwill. It was described as a…read moresuperstore so I assumed it was bigger than it was. Size wise it was an average size Goodwill in a strip mall. Now that I've been to a few Maryland GW locations I'm getting used to the difference in organization between PA and Maryland locations. In PA clothes are sorted by item (tank top, long sleeve, etc) by color, and very loosely by size. I use the term "loosely" because GW's sizing is never on point compared to other thrift stores. In Maryland they are not sorted by size although you might find a random size tag but nothing in that section applies to it. Clothing is sorted type (shirts, pants) but not by color. Be prepared to dive in and look thru every item for what you're searching for. Sometimes I don't mind this as I might discover something I wouldn't have otherwise. However when I'm looking for something specific and have a friend in tow that isn't quite as into the hunt as I am you want to be considerate. Why hastily sorting thru looking for items from my wish list I did come across several items with serious stains and rips that should have been detected during the sorting process. I also discovered items new from Target with tags. My pet peeve with this location is most of the items weren't priced. While that's normal for clothes as usually one price applies per clothing type, it's unusual for everything else. I found several household items I had to inquire about and a few vintage hankies (which I basically said I'll pay .50 cents for and the cashier agreed). Overall this location is cluttered, and the floors need swept, the dressing rooms needed cleared of unwanted items, but it had some redeeming qualities. The young staff were super polite, like southern style polite. The cashier, a young man in his early 20's repeatedly called me ma'am and was eager to assist. There's an abundance of new from Target items in all departments but especially school and party supplies (all half off Target's last marked price - you wouldn't know this unless you asked). The purse section was of better quality and nicely arranged. There were bins of baby/kids clothes new from Target price under $2 each, although randomly thrown in there that you'd need to sort through. Overall a decent Goodwill, but you do need to allow yourself some time to shop, you'll need it. And if you see something that's not priced, ask or tell them what you'll pay like I did. SIDENOTE: The check in kiosk (to earn points for discounts) doesn't work

Small goodwill, not a great selection of quality items but that's probably due to the bad area it…read moreis in. Staff are nice but this wouldn't be my first pick to come to. Books are outdated. The only good thing would be kitchen items. But like most centers it's hit or miss.

They went thru my clothing/purses, took what they wanted and gave the rest back to me. Policy is they get 60%, you get 40%. (typically it is the opposite, seller gets the 60%). They did not give me a receipt of what they kept of mine. When I went to pickup my unsold items, I was absolutely sick at the commission I received. I gave them NWT (last years items) lilly Pulitzer dresses, tops, skorts, Coolibar skort/coverups, Wooden Ship sweater, Betsy Johnson dress, etc, all name brand items, I asked for a receipt of my sold items and unsold items, they answered "we don't have a printer". more iThey could not/would not give me a receipt of what sold and for how much. (this is a service available on every consignment software, they were very honest and said they did not want to do that for their consignors). Manually we went through some of the sold items. NWT L.P, dress, retail $148, I received $15. Wooden Ships, retail $145, received $11. etc. Several of my items were not on my inventory, and several items on my account were not mine, I received $236 for a batch of great and varied name brand items for consignment (total retail value $1200.00 consigned) Their lack of record keeping/accounting is a sign of not being organized and more importantly not honest with their consignors. I would not reccommend consigning at this business.
