She acted like she didn't know and I quietly reminded her he had asked if she was opening a lane and she told him no and then literally opened the lane 30 seconds later. Asked Burt why he didn't steam the large 3#+ lobsters that were still in their tank was told they were all reserved and steamed what he had available. I get it--our festering society has normalized theft to the point that a store is vulnerable. But maybe consider customer loss-control? At one point, we thought an item was out of stock--but just as I was about to check out, one of the associates caught me and let me know they had found it.
