So this location hasn't been open for too long. But boy oh boy, I'm so happy it is! It is located in the same shopping center as the PetSmart, across the way from the LA Fitness. It is at the end of the strip, at times I think the parking is a little tight. The store is clean and laid out nicely. It is much nicer then some of the other Aldi's that I have been to. The staff are around and always there to help you find the things you need. Keep in mind that this is a discount store, so you may not find all of the things that you need, but what you do find will be of a great bargain. I've also learned that this Aldi will be getting the organic items. I can't wait to try them. Oh yea, bring your own bags, or pay for theirs. Also, keep your Aldi quarter in the car for the cart, I do!

A little bit of everything

I have to say it, "I love ALDI". There are plenty of other supermarkets withe a wider selection of products. In fact I'm sure I go to Wegmans about as often and Giant even more so. I've heard about inexpensive ALDI was for years but never thought it was for me, thinking was another cut open box store. . . . but I was wrong. After I finally figured out how to get a shopping cart (I had to watch someone else then go back to my car and get a quarter) I headed in. (And what a brilliant idea to get people to bring their shopping carts back themselves instead of leaving them scattered around the parking lot.) It's not so much that the selection is small, I guess you would call it varied. Some of the items are even well covered. I even found ghost chili cheese . . . . and it wasn't fooling around. (If you know anything about me you would know that this is a very good thing!) So far everything I've tried of there store brand has been really good. They even have cookies that taste like some of the Girl Scout ones. Love the chocolate and peanut butter ones. Have I mentioned the pizzas? They have some interesting ones too. I really enjoyed the Cuban Sandwich pizza. And their store brand of frozen pizza has a great flavor. Lately me wife has me watching what I eat so pizza crust was a no no. Fortunately ALDI has a pepperoni pizza with a cauliflower crust. The rust isn't me favorite but it has the same great sauce and as long as my wife is convinced it's healthy I'm all in.

Have reasonable prices. Better with coupons. I didn't like the way their meats looked, so I passed.

I'm a glam country girl and will forever be. Flowers, plants, fruit, vegetables, farm fresh meats, dairy, bakery items, etc, etc, etc. High quality, always fresh. Store is always clean. They just did an expansion of the store making more space for product placement & customers to roam. I love the open market feel. Staff...always friendly professional. I could have a bad day and coming here instantly cheers me up. Prices... health costs money but copays cost more. You choose. Parking... decent. The turnover is quick and I've never had to wait to park. People are usually in & out. Issues... the only herbs they sell is cilantro. I'm ok with that (mostly). But I really wish they had mint & basil. They are closed during winter. Makes sense but... Those are the longest 4 months for me.

Franks is always an adventure. They have fresh, local produce. On 5/4/25, the selection was…read morewatermelon, summer squashes, corn, and more. I love getting my seasonal produce from there because it is so fresh and flavorful. They also have locally sourced baked goods, jams, spices, and candies. The plant selection is also unreal. They have about 8 greenhouses all filled with different plants. Feels like walking through a local garden rather than a nursery. A plus is also that they usually have a food truck on the weekends. The day I went was Mikes Gelato.

I discovered Class Produce earlier this year while looking for an organic produce wholesaler to…read morefeed our hungry family. Class Produce is a distributor that carries organic as well as conventional produce. I am considered a "cash customer" (even though I can pay by Visa or MasterCard) since I purchase as an individual. Twice a week, I receive a spreadsheet by e-mail of current stock items and prices. Pick-up is Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.--12:00 noon, and the order must be received by the close of business a day ahead of time. Some pointers: -most deliveries come in overnight on Sunday, so the best day for pick-up is Monday. -check your produce on-site or as soon as you get home. Class will not issue a credit for items 24 hours after pick-up. I've had 3 small issues (fruit that wasn't optimal) since I started ordering from here, and Class was quick in resolving the situation, but the first time that I called, I did not know that I had a 24-hour window. -the warehouse is in Jessup right next to a new car storage lot, and it can seem a little bit confusing to navigate your first time there. Back your vehicle into one of the loading bays to the right of the entrance (the bays here start at #16, I believe), and go into the office (you need to be buzzed in) to verify your order and pay. -a weekly CSA (conventional and organic) is available for a good price, but I haven't taken advantage of this yet. The staff at Class has been professional and friendly--I like working with the front office employees as well as the warehouse guys. Loading assistance is available if you need it. Am I saving money? Yes! For example, the first pomegranates of the season just arrived last week. I paid $55 for a case of 36 (about $1.52 each). Organic pomegranates at WF are $2.99 each. Most everything is offered by the case, but there are a few items that come pre-packaged (e.g. dozen-counts of avocados, apples and pears). I wish that another family would share in ordering with us, so that I could buy more vegetables, but we definitely go through the fruit. When I order a case of organic bananas ($24 for 40 lbs), we'll let some ripen and freeze the rest for smoothies. Over the summer, the peaches and berries were a hit. In all, I highly recommend this place if you have a family of 5 or more (or want to share a produce haul with a friend). The fact that I can pick up organic produce from a distributor before it sits on a grocery shelf for who knows how long is wonderful. If you try it out, let me know what you think!
