We will not be visiting Savannah Toyota again. It was a 40 minute drive from Bluffton for us and we left your dealership with a very negative impression. We informed the sales person we wanted to purchase a Camry XLE. We had established the likely dealer invoice price, had already done a test drive at another dealership and we had specific details for purchasing a new car. He informed us that the XLE model had been discontinued a few years ago. As proof, he showed us a web page listing the available models and it did not include the XLE. I corrected him and told him that web page displayed the current Savanah Toyota inventory and did not accurately display the models available from Toyota. That removed any possibility that we could trust him or Savanah Toyota. The sales person was either not fully trained or was openly lying to influence our choices toward selecting only from dealership inventory. We received a very different experience at Stokes Toyota in Bluffton. We established some level of trust much more easily. The XLE was not in their inventory but we ordered and purchased a new Camry XLE with the Premium Plus package. The car arrived within two weeks and the Out The Door Price we agreed to was honored along with just the features we requested. Went for a brake job. Needed pads and rotors on all four wheels and calipers on the back. Cost for a 2013 Prius V was $2500. Wow! I asked if there was anyway I could do 1/2 of he job now and 1/2 later. They also said I needed front and rear wipers that had been replaced 2 weeks ago in the back and 6 months for the front. Said I needed cabin filters and air filters that were replaced 6 months ago, coolant flush and something else for an additional cost. Told them I had an appointment elsewhere tomorrow and if the price was within a few hundred I would opt for the dealer. They charged me $113 for a bench charge to put everything back together. Flash forward to the next day, Mitchell's Automotive said the back brakes were good for awhile at a 5and 6 but the fronts needed pads, rotors and calipers. Cost was $970. Something I could handle. They said to keep on eye on the back brakes and come in 6 months from now. Perfect. Exactly what I asked Toyota. I'm perplexed. I always have come to this Toyota dealer. Their prices have been high but their work impeccable. The car has a high sounding winding noise. Could be an engine or transmission but can I trust their diagnosis? read more

My wife and i were looking and possibly buying a new car with all the safety features. We stopped at Savannah Toyota and met Ish Jordon who took his time and we looked at several cars. We found the RAV 4 SE Hybrid to meet all our needs. We however are not computer savvy but Ish made it easy for us to learn. The car (a hybrid) is great it runs smooth with a lot of get up and go right from the start. Again it's a smooth ride and get over 475 miles on a tank of gas which is twice what I got on just the gasoline powered RAV I traded in. Bought a brand new Grand Highlander, bought the almost $500 ppf for the front bumper. I called service to ask how much it will cost me to install it, the lady told me that I have to bring my vehicle to see the bumper, I told the lady that they have plenty of new Highlanders at the dealer to see how the bumper looks like without the necessity of my driving my vehicle there to see the same vehicle they sell, she stated again that they need to see the vehicle. I wasn't even going to write a review but this was the straw that broke the camel's back. In July I had to have my AC repaired on my 2007 FJ Cruiser. I'd done some troubleshooting including checking the usual culprit of a bad relay without any luck. I went to the dealer because at the time it seemed like getting parts might be tricky and I hoped they'd have better access to getting them. They determined it was the compressor. My car was in the shop for two weeks, after one compressor arrived broken, and one was damaged during installation. Third one was installed. $3500 later, all well and good. They replaced a relay without checking with me and charged me $128 when I had the OEM relay in the center console for them to use. Whatever. Got the car back and my steering wheel radio controls and aftermarket microphone no longer worked. I messaged my service tech to see if they could squeeze me in to reattach those. No reply. I messaged the web site contact. Received a reply on 7/18/25 from Abby Scott that someone would get back to me to schedule that repair. Never heard anything back. A few days ago when the weather dipped into the 30s, I turned on my heat. No heat. I was afraid I was in for another hefty repair. I am the type of person who will do everything I can within my skill level before giving up and going to a mechanic. After 5 whole minutes of looking behind the glove box, I found the wire that goes to the blend door actuator hanging loose. Plugged that in and - boom - heat works. Really frustrating and unacceptable sloppiness and bad customer service. I would recommend you go to an independent mechanic for any repair before going to Savannah Toyota. You can still ask independents to use OEM parts, which I recommend as Toyota's are finicky about no-OEM spec parts. read more

Today, I came in to get service on my Odyssey, which I purchased here. Even though I have a warranty, they told me the alternator repair wasn't covered. Every visit seems to come with inflated costs and excuses. The last time, they quoted me nearly $500 for a repair I ended up getting done elsewhere for just $80. To make matters worse, during a previous oil change, they left the cap off and my engine was left with no water--completely unacceptable. Misleading and straight up lied to me. I Specifically told the finance manager, Kirk, I did not want any warranty's or add on. This was a brand new Toyota with a factory warranty. To make a long story short, without my knowledge they added in a service warranty AND a maintenance contract totaling $2300. And when I confronted them about it 2 weeks later. Kirk tried to talk me out of getting the money back. And the when he finally did cancel the add ons. He said I won't be reimbursed until THE END of the 36 month lease. Ridiculous! DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. Protect yourself people. Ask for itemized numbers for everything. And ask for the money factor. I had very courteous and professional service, with friendly sales and finance staff. We were in a sticky spot where our old Toyota Tacoma truck had become unsafe to drive due to severe rust damage on the frame. They still gave us a generous trade deal and we love our new Taco. One suggestion for this dealership: We first considered a newer used truck, and they showed us a 2017 model that looked great on the outside but had almost as much rust damage underneath as our 2008 trade. It needed other repairs that hadn't been done yet, plus it was very, very dirty inside. I recommend getting repairs and detailing done first before putting a used vehicle up for sale.
