Such a fun experience. We did do the hands on experience and our troop had a blast. The pops were also so yummy! 10/10 recommend!
I recently tried the Savannah Pops at the Goodwill grand opening and it was so tasty! I had the Milk n Honey pop and I don't think I have ever had a pop so good. The gentleman handing out the pops was very helpful opening our pops and providing napkins. I can't wait to see what other options are available!
So happy that I came across this popsicle shop! The popsicles here are all fresh with real fruits and real ingredients, and you can definitely tell when you try it! The owners were both super nice and very detailed with their recommendations. They have fruity bars and milky bars, so they have something for everyone! I tried the Georgia Peach Tea and it was so refreshing and delicious! The black peach tea flavor was very fragrant and lightly sweet. And the peach chunks were a bit tart but so fresh! I wish I had more room in my stomach to try more of the flavors! The shop was so cute and on top of selling popsicles they had other cute popsicle themed trinkets like chalk, earrings, necklaces, and apparel. Highly recommend checking them out!
A large store that does nothing other than sell various popsicles made locally. I picked one of the few non-fruit flavors, a cookies and cream with an oreo embedded inside which produced a robust flavor. However, many of the options here are non-dairy and would be an ideal dessert for the vegan or other person with specific dietary needs, as the people here knew what went into their products. $4 is a lot for a popsicle, but I never mind spending for a quality dessert. Notably, there are plenty of other places around the city where one can purchase these popsicles, often at the same price and often outside of this shop's somewhat limited hours.
Looking for a delicious cold treat on a hot summer day around Savannah this is the place to go. Greater immediately with smiles and a bright updated vibe. The menu board has a wide variety of choices with description of each. I chose the cheesecake with chocolate drizzle. My friend leads a Girl Scout troop and they did a private behind-the-scenes tour that explains how they make them and she said the girls were very interested and went back a second time that to have more treats.definitely a great stop while in Savannah.
A must-do in Savannah! That's right, I'm a local and if you're visiting the area be sure to put Savannah Square Pops on your to-do list! Their gourmet popsicles are made with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. The shop is perfect for a good selfie! They even offer popsicle making classes! The owners are so passionate and will go out of their way to make you happy! So swing by to grab yourself one, two or maybe even a dozen pops on dry ice. They ship too!! My top favorites: salted caramel, milk n honey, and blueberry cheesecake
Savannah square pops offers gourmet, made fresh without any artificial ingredients and preservatives ice pops on site here in Savannah. They also sell throughout the city at different locations and can even show up to any event with their freezer carts or their van. Their original location used up be across the street from their newer and bigger space. They carry a variety of flavors and offer vegan options as well. I've tried 6 different flavors so far and my favorite so far was the milk and honey. It's very rich and smooth. They use Savannah bee local honey for this particular pop. They have a 12 pack special that I purchased to take home and I can't wait to try those. Duff Goldman from food network named their Pulaski square pop as top 10 sweet treats in the nation. I'll have to update my review after I try that one :)
It was an incredibly hot day and we happened upon this gourmet popsicle shop. We got there right before closing and they were so friendly even still. We did not want to stay longer since they were done for the day but the inside is like an Instagram dream! We had the Georgia Peach Tea and Peach Mango popsicles and they were both fantastic! Gluten free and Vegan friendly for sure.
I came here for a Girl Scout event and we had an awesome time! Judd and Mark are a dynamic duo with a passion for putting out a quality product. Our girls were able to assist in the making of some pops while they learned the history behind it. But the best part we're the pops. Every flavor I tried was AMAZING! Milk and honey, chocolate, strawberry lemonade I could go on and on. Definitely worth stopping by, while a little on the outskirts it wasn't very far from historic Savannah and again well worth it!
Our Girl Scout trip ended with a tour at Savannah Square Pops and what a highlight it was! They were so friendly and engaging and our 11 & 12 year olds were full of questions. (Thanks for being patient with them) Our girls loved learning about how the ice pops were made and the amazing story behind this business. Anything is possible! Thank you to Savannah Square Pops for the awesome memory!
What a refreshing start to the Holiday weekend at the office! Judd delivered lots of popsicles straight to our lobby and everyone is a fan. We had Chocolate, Milk & Honey, Savannah Banana Puddin, Tybee Breeze & Strawberry balsamic and could not declare a winner, they are all very good. Now go and either visit the store or find them around town at Forsyth Farmers Market, or a mobile cart.
I was here for a Yelp event and knew I needed to come back and take my family. These are not ordinary popsicles. They are so good. I love that they are all natural and not made with food dyes. My favorite flavor is milk and honey. But I've tried and loved the strawberry lemonade, chocolate, pineapple sunset, Savannah banana puddin and peach mango. Definitely recommend this place as a must try!
I was not expecting these pops to be so delicious! The milk & honey and banana pudding are phenomenal. I loved them so much I brought a dozen home. We'll be back to stock up on more of these square pops, especially with knowing I can pronounce all of the ingredients.
With our mild climate a popsicle from Savannah Square Pops is appropriate any time of year! I love the Chocolate Covered Cherry popsicle so much that it's my "go to" flavor. It's creamy, and it's decadent with the hard shell chocolate coating. Just wish they'd dip the entire popsicle and not just half! The employees are always pleasant and helpful, and appear to enjoy working here. The owners are here working quite often and love to share their Savannah Square Pips story It's also enjoyable to watch them hard at work making these frozen confections in their open kitchen. read more

If you are looking for an amazing treat, then you have to try Savannah Square Pops! Our whole family loves their popsicles. Milk and honey is definitely my favorite. They also offer a Pop Box. Which is a portable freezer that you can have them fill with popsicles for any event you might be having. You just stop by and they will load it into your vehicle. You have to call for pricing. read more
Another recommendation from our amazing Uber driver. This shop makes gourmet popsicles. Their menu was pretty extensive, but I went with classic lemonade, and my mother went with a banana cream pie, which came with a Nilla cookie! The staff at the shop was so friendly, and the popsicles were refreshing and delicious. It's the perfect afternoon stop! read more

First found these amazing Popsicles at the Farmers Market at Forsyth Park. Every Saturday a popsicle is a must have! For a cream-based treat the blueberry cheesecake and cookies & cream are my favorite. For a fruity popsicle taste go for the peach mango. Okay, so there is the store! Nice atmosphere and many treats to take home or enjoy while downtown! Today, I found a new favorite the Cranberry Gingerbread Cheesecake popsicle! This one is seasonal, so get a taste soon! read more

Soo the reason I loved this place so much is because it's a great place to take Instagram pictures! The outside and inside are so colorful and joyful...the pops on the other hand...not so great. I had an orange cream and it's not what I thought it was going to be at all. If you didn't tell me the flavor I never would have been able to guess the flavor. I wouldn't go back for the flavor but great place for pictures read more

Ok so I'm going to preface this by saying I don't really live popsicles, I never have.. BUT I always loved fudgesicles so when my son suggested we stop I knew immediately which flavor I would get-"Chocolate", an easy no brainer for me. My first impression was the place is absolutely adorable. Nice Clean, vibrant, exciting and fun atmosphere. The flavor board is extensive so I cannot imagine anyone not finding a flavor they would like. My son chose cookies and cream and said it was very good but my chocolate pop was a let down. I honestly could not taste any chocolate whatsoever. If we come back to the area I would give them another shot with another flavor. Definitely worth stopping by on a hot day. Don't forget to grab a napkin. read more
What a delightful little spot! This is Savannah Square Pops' (SSP) brick and mortar location on MLK Blvd, just before you go on the highway, so don't blink! It's kinda funny how I always seem to come across SSP by chance. My first encounter was at the Savannah Brunch Festival last year and they had their mobile ice cream cart set up. It was love at first sight. They were there like a knight in shining armor. It was blistering hot outside and a pop seemed like the only thing that could remedy my first experience of the brutal Southern heat and humidity. The second time, I was over the moon to see them at the Forsyth Farmers Market, remembering that first experience and the third was just this week, when we were dining at Rancho Alegre Cuban (RAC), which is located diagonally across the street from SSP. At the corner of my little one's eye (we hadn't even eaten yet), she noticed the logo. This is why branding is so important! The kid can't read yet, but she knows her logos, especially food related ones! And it only takes once! Like Mother, like Daughter... - Parking - We went to SSP after our brunch at RAC, so we left our cars parked in RAC's parking lot. I did notice some spots right next to SSP's building as we were driving out, but the ones right by the street seemed to indicate it was reserved parking for a neighboring address. Maybe they have some designated spots in the back that I couldn't see? - Eats - Milk 'n Honey - this is all you need to know. This is by far my fave! Not that I have had everything on the menu, but I know what I love and I love this one! It is exactly that, Milk and Honey, but not just any honey. It's honey from Savannah Bee Co. Love local partnerships! It is so, so good! I was adventurous once and although the Banana Pudding was good, I found myself regretting that I didn't get the Milk 'n Honey. Banana Pudding - I had this at the Forsyth Farmers' Market and I think the issue is that I was expecting it to taste somewhat like some of my other favorite Banana Pudding items at different restaurants and shops around town, which is completely unfair, because this is in the form of a popsicle. So keep that in mind. If Banana pudding is your thing, have it! There is a whole Nilla Wafer frozen to the bottom of the pop. Cookies and Cream - My Little One had this one this past week and it was delish too. Chocolate base with a whole Oreo frozen on it near the bottom, by the popsicle stick. They have a ton of flavors with tasty combinations. Each popsicle, aside from their flavor name, is named after one of the squares in Savannah, hence the "Square" in their name. They make the pops in limited quantities, so take it as an opportunity to try something else! Service - Every encounter has been wonderful and the guy at the store was nice and sincere. Vibe - This is what completed the experience for me this time around. First, they are located in one of the older buildings, very characteristic of Savannah. So when you walk in, the door is mostly glass, but old and heavy and once you open those doors, you are immediately transported into this clean, modern, colorful and bright decor. The ceilings are lined with paper lanterns in the color pattern of their brand: fuchsia, green, yellow and white. It reminds me of the Venetian Hotel in Vegas with the colorful blown glass ceilings, but in paper lanterns, kinda sorta? Anyway, it was so pretty! Each wall is exposed brick and there is a baby grand piano to the left by the window with a TV playing a loop of various different pics of the popsicles, so definitely watch these for a visual before ordering. To the right is an adult tricycle which is great photo op! They have various high top tables with those industrial like high chairs that are popular nowadays. The decor just tied together so well! After visiting this shop, I will definitely make my encounters with SSP more intentional now, especially with the summer heat already here. I may get out of my comfort zone again one of these days and try something else. I would love to see a watermelon flavor (hint hint)! Definitely a must try, so in this case, be there AND be square! read more
So far my favorite pops are the Cheesecake with chocolate drizzle and Cookies n cream, which had an Oreo piece in it! I was craving something chocolatey and creamy that day, so while the fruity and creative flavors called my name, I'll have to come back for them another time. My spouse had the Georgia peach tea, which is worth trying. In fact, I may have to get that next time. He also went with one called the Washington Square. It was some sort of limeade flavor which didn't really hit the spot for either one of us. The decor in this shop is superb, I just wish it was in a better location so more folks could enjoy it. Sitting outside on the warm May day was just ok. It was way too loud from all the traffic. The pops themselves are pricey- $3-$4 bucks a pop! I hope Savannah Square Pops can survive in the long run. read more

Gourmet popsicles! How fun is that! My daughter attended a birthday party here and I found it to be a fantastic foodie stop. Not only are the popsicles made in-house with real, quality ingredients (real fruit), but they are creative food pieces! Who would have thought there was such a thing as a popsicle chef? I thoroughly enjoyed the Strawberry Balsamic popsicle. The balsamic vinegar was not strong, but rather a perfect balance to add a touch of class and savory backbone to the sweet strawberry treat. So good! I can't wait to try other flavors such as banana pudding, cafe au lait and salted caramel. read more
