Music was so relaxing and peaceful. Madison was at the desk and she told me to help myself to some tea or water. She was very helpful and very informative so I really did appreciate that especially this being my first visit. She showed me to my room where I was to do the 45 min infrared sauna. She helped me with my Bluetooth connection. I was ready to go after a quick trip to the ladies room. The 45 min was exactly what I needed. It felt so good and so amazing to have that time to myself. I doxed off for a few.. I love that the sauna beeps very mildly to let you know there's 5 min left. I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit most especially because it was a wonderful surprise that they had Easter eggs hidden and the sign said to find one so I did and it said my next appointment was free! I'll definitely be purchasing some more after that! I definitely recommend giving this a try. Self care is so important. The ambiance of the entire environment is very serene and calming. Definitely a nice little spot to get away from the chaos.

We also checked out the shop afterwards and all made purchases. I'm so glad I stumbled across this and made an appointment, 10/10 recommend.

I picked the candle hot yoga at 8pm because I wanted a soft feel but when I tell you this stretched me out I had such a great night sleep. I burned 362 calories in an hour. Make sure to bring a mat, towel, and water. They have available mats and towels for you to use. Such a great experience and the staff! I roll up at a rebellious 7:36 PM, since class started at 7:30, only to find the door locked up like they were hiding national secrets inside. Two women behind the counter looked at each other, then at me, like I was a raccoon trying to break into their trash cans. One slowly came over, cracked the door open just enough so that her body had enough room, she stood at the door and said, "For safety reasons, we can't let anyone in after 5 minutes." Mind you there is an entire lobby and boutique that I could have been invited into. I blinked. "Safety reasons?" She explained it was because of "the weights." Ma'am, it's Pilates, not a WWE SmackDown. If a stray 3-pound dumbbell is all that stands between me and bodily harm, maybe you should consider issuing helmets. I mentioned it was my first time. She gave me a pity "awww" and told me to come back Saturday. Unfortunately, I'll be out of town, but even if I wasn't, I wouldn't return. They treated me like a Jehovah's Witness at a front door: cracked entrance, fake smile, no eye contact. Girl, I'm not here to sell salvation. I just want to stretch. Also, tiny detail, but I'm 98 percent sure it's illegal to deadbolt the door of an open establishment. If the hot room gets a little too hot and catches fire, how exactly are the Pilates faithful escaping? Through interpretive dance? If they had simply welcomed me in, explained their policies like normal humans, and offered to help me reschedule, I'd probably be writing a very different review. Instead, I got passive aggressive doorkeeper energy. As someone who is literally a news personality, it took everything in me not to blast them on social media. But I try to wield my sword wisely. So here we are. On Yelp.

Because what a relaxing experience! I have discovered that one of my favorite ways to relax and reset is to sit in a dark cave, surrounded by tons of Himalayan salt. It's called halotherapy, if you want to be fancy, and it's also called "salt cave" if you want to be less fancy. A few years ago, when I visited a salt cave for my first time, I fell asleep during my session. Do you know how difficult it is for me to nap? Let alone nap in a salt cave?! I knew I had found something special after that session. This time, I did not fall asleep, but I luxuriated in that comfortable in-between twilight stage of being awake and being asleep. I probably could have fallen asleep, but I wanted to be awake to enjoy every second of my salt cave experience this time. There are two different salt caves. They don't mention the sizes of the caves on the website, so I'll mention it here! The Harmony Cave is located downstairs and is the biggest salt cave. This one can hold several people. The upstairs cave is the Tranquility Cave, and it is smaller, although I haven't seen it myself. Keep in mind that, unless you book a private session, if someone books at the same time that you do, you might be in a salt cave with other people that you don't know. That wasn't the case for me, though. The cave is so peaceful and dark! There are chairs with electromagnetic fields pulsating out of them, and blankets that you can use to be snuggly and ultra cozy. The chairs recline, so you can lie completely down or elevate yourself to whatever degree you're comfortable. Sessions are one hour, and that hour goes by very fast! The spa itself is impeccably cute. There's a gift shop as soon as you enter, with lots of things like salt stones, lip balm, candles, jewelry and many other things. The whole place is spotless and inviting, and the perfect place to visit when you want to relax.

You can choose a from relaxing in the salt cave or detoxing with a foot soak, and both are only $45 per session!! We made reservations for the foot soak about a week prior to the Sunday we chose with no issues. They were ready for us upon arrival, and the staff greeted us and was very thorough in explaining the soak process to us. I think there are 2 private rooms for the foot soaks, and there were maybe 5 chairs in the room we were in. They played some cute holiday music for us, but offered to let us use Bluetooth to hook onto their speaker and play our own personal playlist. Judgment free zone! The staff member was very patient with us and explained the whole process before beginning our soaks. The infrared lights were probably my favorite part. They were so warm and cozy. The little wands are adjustable so you can move them wherever you like around your face. I do have to mention that we were trying to lie back and get comfortable, and we struggled a bit as the chairs did not have head rests. I think the soak took about 20 or 30 minutes, and our necks started to get a little sore from the lack of support. If you scooch down far enough in the chair, you can rest your head on the back of the seat, but then your lower back starts to hurt. Apparently, another staff member was supposed to come in halfway during our soaks to add more hot water to our bowls, but she did not. We were fine though. Yes, more hot water would have been nice, but we lived. At the end of it, all, the water is disgusting regardless of the temperature. The girls will drain your bowl, check the contents, and explain to you the likely reasons for what is in there. So gross, but a very fun experience. We laughed the whole time. Apparently, pulling the toxins is not so much for detoxing as it is to help you understand what's going on inside your body. We received helpful feedback about dietary changes that could honestly benefit anyone. It was nice that the girls didn't act like sales people like some spas do when they try to get you to come back excessively and unnecessarily. They give it to you straight and explain how to use the tools they offer, they were also nice enough to offer us a tour of their whole facility so we could see the salt caves, but they had other customers and we didn't want to take up their time. For $45 though, we'll definitely be back to check out the salt caves. Oh, and the storefront has adorable little items to shop for ranging from healthcare items to jewelry to kitchen utensils. Super cute!

We got there early so we could enjoy the pool and other amenities. Unfortunately, when we arrived there were hotel guests in the pool, including children. That's not all that conducive to relaxing unfortunately so we didn't get in the water at all. Tina also helped us order a lovely lunch from Capitol Grill and took overall very good care of us while we relaxed and waited for our spa appointments. The services: Both of us had nice services but honestly both felt we had had better for various reasons. My esthetician was good and did a very nice job but I had added on a leg scrub. The leg scrub was great but it came At the sacrifice of the hand and wrist massage you might typically get. My friend's service was good but was slow to start and the provider had some clumsiness issues and dropped items on the floor creating loud noises. The only thing that was really "bad" was the temperature of the atrium area/pool and hot tub area. It was HOT in there. It was so warm in there that we just couldn't force ourselves in the hot tub or the sauna/steam room. Tips: 1. there is street parking, which is free on Sundays 2. When you walk in, go closer to the check in desk to the second set of elevators and the spa is on the 6th floor 3. There is cold water and some cold towels in the Gym on the same floor.

While I understand businesses have policies, it's disappointing that there was no flexibility given our situation--especially since no product has been manufactured or delivered. We attempted to resolve this directly but were not offered any reasonable alternative beyond finding our own replacement buyer. I would recommend that anyone considering doing business here carefully review the deposit and cancellation terms before committing. Seems to be shady business practices.
