Sauna This was my first experience with a sauna and it is and was EVERYTHING! Didn't even wanna get out when the 30 minute timer went off. It's a nice and peaceful time to sit back and sweat while you read a book or meditate etc. I will make this a routine thing! Cryotherapy Came here a few months back to try cryotherapy. No other way to put it except that it is cold af!! My friend and I wanted to try it due to our extreme workouts that resulted in aches and pains. Cryotherapy worked! The day of I had a muscle sprain in my arm from weights. I had ZERO pain after cryotherapy. I won't make a routine out of it but I definitely will go again for any new aches or pains. I can definitely see why athletes prefer it over ice baths. Cryotherapy Indy is a nice and clean facility. The staff workers are always nice, pleasant, helpful and informative.

I went for a float session. Maybe my experience wasn't the norm because this place has good reviews both here and on Groupon. Anyway, I've floated at other places and had better experiences. My biggest complaint is cleanliness. I was the first appointment of the day and the floors were really wet, like nobody had cleaned the night before. The trash was almost overflowing. The biggest problem for me was the inside of the pod was crusted with dried salt and the pod smelled a little stale. While they had a nicer shower than some of the other places, I was disappointed there wasn't any shampoo or conditioner. How am I supposed to wash all the salt out of my hair? I'm not that mad about it because I paid a lot less because it was a Groupon. I'm just disappointed.

I loved my cryotherapy sessions. I've had 3 sessions and I've purchased three more on Groupon. I love the results from each session. I think the cryotherapy is a great add on to your workout and post surgery recovery. I haven't had any of the other services, but I plan to try the Normatec on my next visit.

The concept of this place was good. The environment was nice and you definitely have the fee of being at a spa. However, I had concerns of the cleanliness. The inside of the float tank had pink spots that to me signaled bacteria growth. I didn't notice them until I was getting out. Enough to discourage me from back there again.

On the following Monday, I received an email that I was late for my appointment. I emailed back and said I had never received a confirmation from their website and just noticed it never got in my calendar. Later that day, Teresa emailed back and said that I hadn't checked some boxes on the site so they could call me, not only was she not going to reschedule my pre-paid appointment, but that on top of my pre-paid massage that she was not going to re-schedule, I also owed them an additional $25 according to her online scheduling system. Now, as an online business owner myself, I can understand tech glitches, miscommunications and a lot of things that can and do happen. However, this takes the cake in terms of unprofessionalism with zero communication. Also, as a new client, booking for the first time (and pre-paying) this is not only bad business, it's actually lacking emotional intelligence and deeply unkind of a place that is supposed to be run by "healers." Had the massage been good, I would have likely become a regular. I might add that based on my interaction with Teresa, I am taking the time to write a bad review on Yelp, something I've never done in my life. Steer clear...

Because what a relaxing experience! I have discovered that one of my favorite ways to relax and reset is to sit in a dark cave, surrounded by tons of Himalayan salt. It's called halotherapy, if you want to be fancy, and it's also called "salt cave" if you want to be less fancy. A few years ago, when I visited a salt cave for my first time, I fell asleep during my session. Do you know how difficult it is for me to nap? Let alone nap in a salt cave?! I knew I had found something special after that session. This time, I did not fall asleep, but I luxuriated in that comfortable in-between twilight stage of being awake and being asleep. I probably could have fallen asleep, but I wanted to be awake to enjoy every second of my salt cave experience this time. There are two different salt caves. They don't mention the sizes of the caves on the website, so I'll mention it here! The Harmony Cave is located downstairs and is the biggest salt cave. This one can hold several people. The upstairs cave is the Tranquility Cave, and it is smaller, although I haven't seen it myself. Keep in mind that, unless you book a private session, if someone books at the same time that you do, you might be in a salt cave with other people that you don't know. That wasn't the case for me, though. The cave is so peaceful and dark! There are chairs with electromagnetic fields pulsating out of them, and blankets that you can use to be snuggly and ultra cozy. The chairs recline, so you can lie completely down or elevate yourself to whatever degree you're comfortable. Sessions are one hour, and that hour goes by very fast! The spa itself is impeccably cute. There's a gift shop as soon as you enter, with lots of things like salt stones, lip balm, candles, jewelry and many other things. The whole place is spotless and inviting, and the perfect place to visit when you want to relax.

You can choose a from relaxing in the salt cave or detoxing with a foot soak, and both are only $45 per session!! We made reservations for the foot soak about a week prior to the Sunday we chose with no issues. They were ready for us upon arrival, and the staff greeted us and was very thorough in explaining the soak process to us. I think there are 2 private rooms for the foot soaks, and there were maybe 5 chairs in the room we were in. They played some cute holiday music for us, but offered to let us use Bluetooth to hook onto their speaker and play our own personal playlist. Judgment free zone! The staff member was very patient with us and explained the whole process before beginning our soaks. The infrared lights were probably my favorite part. They were so warm and cozy. The little wands are adjustable so you can move them wherever you like around your face. I do have to mention that we were trying to lie back and get comfortable, and we struggled a bit as the chairs did not have head rests. I think the soak took about 20 or 30 minutes, and our necks started to get a little sore from the lack of support. If you scooch down far enough in the chair, you can rest your head on the back of the seat, but then your lower back starts to hurt. Apparently, another staff member was supposed to come in halfway during our soaks to add more hot water to our bowls, but she did not. We were fine though. Yes, more hot water would have been nice, but we lived. At the end of it, all, the water is disgusting regardless of the temperature. The girls will drain your bowl, check the contents, and explain to you the likely reasons for what is in there. So gross, but a very fun experience. We laughed the whole time. Apparently, pulling the toxins is not so much for detoxing as it is to help you understand what's going on inside your body. We received helpful feedback about dietary changes that could honestly benefit anyone. It was nice that the girls didn't act like sales people like some spas do when they try to get you to come back excessively and unnecessarily. They give it to you straight and explain how to use the tools they offer, they were also nice enough to offer us a tour of their whole facility so we could see the salt caves, but they had other customers and we didn't want to take up their time. For $45 though, we'll definitely be back to check out the salt caves. Oh, and the storefront has adorable little items to shop for ranging from healthcare items to jewelry to kitchen utensils. Super cute!

One room is for the Japanese head spa, one room is for the esthetician, one room for the private salt therapy and the back room is for the group salt therapy. The restroom is located outside the business and down the hall. I spoke with the young lady who performed my head spa and she said that the training they receive for the head spa, is to watch a 2 hr video provided by the headspa company where they purchased the equipment. The room was very small, you couldn't even walk around the table. I was offered to undress to my comfort level, however no clothing would get wet, so I kept all my clothing on. However, there was just the smallest table to put my purse and eyeglasses. I don't know where I would have put any clothing had I removed any. The headspa was for 30 min and it was very relaxing. The lights were dimmed, the table was heated, there was a pillow under my knees, a cool thing put over my eyes, and relaxing spa music playing. However, I was never explained what would/was happening during the spa treatment. I filled out an extensive form about my hair condition, needs, and allergies, but none of that was discussed. I had no idea what she putting in my hair, but I know one thing smelled of lavender and another thing smelled of peppermint.
