Gentle Dental has made this easier for me and my son. The first appointment was a free consult. The process of how braces work was fully explained to us. They reviewed the payment options and lastly they talked to my son on how to take care of his new braces. The office staff has always welcomed us with professionalism. They accommodate us when scheduling the required monthly appointments. They are very patient with not just us but with every client I have seen in the office. The office is clean and the atmosphere is calm. The office staff does not seen to be rattled by the sometimes large number of clients that seem to appear out of nowhere. The staff give each client individual attention and assure them that they will be taken care. The dentist are also concerned with the needs of the patients. They do not rush the patients. They treat each patient individually. I recalled when the dentist approached me talk my son's specific needs and gave me clear instructions. If the dentist saw something that was concerning, he did not hesitate to communicate it to me. Getting braces is never an easy process but I am glad that I have a professional staff that can help, guide and serve the needs of my son.

I'm writing this review because I've never been comfortable before about talking about my teeth…read moreuntil I came to aspen dental. My first visit I was already apprehensive because of how uncomfortable other dentist made me feel because of the work that needed to be done. One word a lot! I've now had my 4th appointment with them and never in my life have I felt more happier because of the way they make me feel each appointment and because of the work that they have done. I first met Rene,Clarissa, kelly and Dr. Trangaris. My first appointment was With kelly, and she treated my gums. Again never felt more comfortable letting someone work on my teeth. Then I got my root canals.. I forget the Drs name but he treated me really well and I got 3 and didn't feel a thing the whole time. And then last but not least I went today and today really topped it. I had to have a lot of work done.. Long story short I delt with of course Clarissa and dr trangaris and also rachelly. I was there a long time and not once did it bother me because of the environment and people around me. When they worked on me they made me feel like they actually cared about what they were doing and how I would feel when I seen my smile. Honestly I cried because it changed my life I think and I'm not even done yet! This may be long but it's because I truly feel this way and would recommend anyone get work done here. Thank you thank you thank you personally Rene, Dr. Trangaris, Clarissa, Kelly, and Rachelly! You guys really are awesome Teresa

Today I called again and they tell me that I can't make appointments for him. It doesn't make sense, I'm not asking anything about his treatment... what a ridiculous situation. My husband will look for another dentist. I see this place has very bad reviews.

I'm very sorry that other patients have had negative experiences here... It's been the opposite for…read moreme. I won't go anywhere else. Well.... due to a fall I'd had unfortunately I needed to return far too soon. My appointment was yesterday. When I walked into the Lynn office it was clear to see that there was standing room only. Not an issue because when it was the actual time for my appointment I was brought in on time. saw Dr Jurgens for what in doing the math my 3rd time? Cheerful in greeting me, she noted my last visit in September of last year. I said....yes, but I'm back way too soon! Her response was - it's going to be alright. It's unpleasant but we know that people don't come here because they want to. She and staff obviously keeps notes. She brought up how past visits were handled, took a look at the problem & within minutes I had a plan of care. Then 2 prescriptions and instructions. All correlated quickly & perfectly. She even walked out to the waiting area. I can understand why shes quick. .this is a busy practice and she needs to be. People are usually in extreme pain and usually need extractions. It can be very traumatic. It's probably best to be quick & just get it over with.

I have never written a negative review before, but my experience with this practice warrants it…read more In March 2026, I saw Dr. Pullano, who performed a biopsy of my tongue. When I later called for the results, I was told it showed a precancerous lesion. During that conversation, Dr. Pullano presented me with two options: return every three months to monitor the area, or pursue laser treatment. I chose the latter. She made a referral to Brigham and Women's Hospital for the laser procedure but was unable to answer basic questions about the treatment itself, including how many treatments would be required, whether it was painful, what recovery would involve, or other information a patient would reasonably need in order to make an informed decision. Shortly afterward, Brigham and Women's informed me that they did not, in fact, offer the laser treatment. I then called Massachusetts General Hospital, Tufts Medical Center, and a physician affiliated with Massachusetts Eye and Ear--all to no avail. I called the office again requesting another referral to Brigham's, assuming they would have more resources and knowledge of available treatment options. The person I spoke with asked whether I wanted to be referred to Tufts. I explained that I did not know which oral care center was most appropriate, and asked that they consult with Dr. Pullano and make a referral based on her clinical recommendation. I was also told Dr. Pullano would call me back. No referral was ever made, and I never received a call. Over the following weeks, my calls to the office went unanswered. On two separate occasions, I was told Dr. Pullano would call me back by the end of the day. Both times, no call was received. I also left messages for both the assistant manager and the manager, none of which were returned. It ultimately required me driving from Boston to Lynn in person before the receptionist contacted the manager, Jeff Bazille, in their Peabody office, who then agreed to look into the matter. When he finally called me back the following day--now in May--he was unapologetic, apathetic, and at times condescending. He essentially repeated the same unsuccessful efforts I had already made to locate the laser treatment elsewhere, only to confirm again that it was no longer available. No meaningful guidance, referrals, or alternative treatment options were offered. Most concerning was that I had to suggest he consult with a more senior oral surgeon regarding other possible treatment options. As a patient told she has a precancerous lesion in a less commonly understood area, I should not have had to navigate this level of uncertainty and care coordination on my own. As a social worker, I could not help but reflect on how concerning this experience is in a community like Lynn, which serves a richly diverse population, including many residents who may face language barriers. My on-going difficulty obtaining timely follow-up care and clear communication raises concern for other patients who may be navigating additional barriers. I sincerely hope this practice improves its communication, follow-up, and patient advocacy moving forward.

Due to a chronic condition I have needed sedation. So the recommendation wasn't news to me. But, being " alone" it's a very difficult thing to find someone who can drive me, wait throughout the procedure, and then get me back home. I called on a Monday morning & was put on a wait list. During that time I could feel the juice from the IV antibiotic treatment wearing off and " Chicken" me was terrified of the pain I'd experienced returning. I ended up calling toward the end of the week and asking to speak directly with the Dr. my appointment was with - who I'd seen before, Dr. Lori Jurgens. I explained to her what was happening. She listened and asked that I stay on hold for a moment. Well, I don't think it was 2 minutes before she got back to me to come in to their Peabody office the next morning- which was a Saturday early (8;00 am) and they would do the procedure! I couldn't thank her enough & said I'd definitely be there. Saturday morning: my ride came in with me. We waited maybe 5 minutes if that. Everything was all set. The receptionist had everything ready. I went into the room where they started my IV for sedation. The whole thing must have taken just a few minutes because when I was in the area where you go afterwards, I looked at my phone.. maybe 15 minutes went by in all? I wasn't in any pain. The staff waited with me while I adjusted after the sedation. I got up to leave & all was great. I was given post surgery instructions that were not hard to follow. Pain was minimum & the healing took the usual amount of time. It's been a week & I'm doing just fine. I can't thank Dr Jurgens & all the staff enough for their kindness!

I had 3 teeth extracted recently. The dentist seemed like he was in a big rush, never asked if I was okay after. I felt dizzy and told the assistant. She said okay you can come out here and sit. She then proceeds to take me out of the office to the lobby to sit. Not the waiting area for the business but, the lobby of the building. I felt like I was being thrown out. I also had to have an xray redone, and while it was being done a staff member stood there smirking. Not impressed.
