The doctor explained everything to me so I completely understood how my teeth were doing. All these things combined helped put me at ease. I highly recommend going here. Then I get a call the next day from the office to lecture me about my language. Grow up and do business like an adult and hire competent staff. Language should be the least of your concern. Then weird things started happening. I got billed for work that wasn't performed, they tried to charge me for x-rays clearly covered by my insurance, doubled-down and said I owed them money when I insisted it was covered, and then claimed "they deal with so many insurance plans they can't keep all of them straight" when I finally pulled up the plan myself and showed them. My parents got hit with "lab fees" that their insurance company said should have never been charged under their contract with the dentist. Lots of other "billing errors" that. Once is a mistake, but something was off basically every visit. Oh! And you get a "billing fee" every time their office screws up, which is fun. If I were a conspiracist, I might say that the office is struggling and they're trying to sneak in extras that patients are unlikely to notice. However, it can also be explained by a few bad hiring choices for office administrators. When I left the practice, I called to get a copy of my x-rays for the new dentist. The office assistant sent a collection of THUMBNAILS of the x-rays. Like, tiny grainy pictures for the new dentist. They got angry and insisted that they couldn't get me any other format, and that the files were just really small when exported and that they had never had an issue with it before. After some heated back and forth, the office assistant described the menu she was seeing in the software, I suggested things she could try to export them, she finally exported the images individually as high-resolution jpgs and sent them to me. Seriously, they hired morons. My family and I have left the practice.

I found a dentist that took mass health. So I set up the appointment. Luckily, they could get me in right away as I told him I was having some tooth pain. I saw a doctor Mo. Very personable. I'll be at it seemed like the office was really busy and kind of rushed, but I'm OK with that if the Services are great. It means people like them. He examined me for a bit, didn't even take an x-ray, and told me that"tooth number 28 needed a crown! He explained to me that I must've had a root canal done, but there was no crown there. I've listened to him, but couldn't imagine that I had ever had a root canal done and never had a crown put on. My teeth are not great, so doing something like that is against anything I would ever have done in the past. So I set up an appointment for the next week for the crown. On the way home, I called my regular dentist and explained what it happened and asked them if I had ever had a crown on that tooth that might've fallen off. My memory isn't the greatest sometimes, maybe I just never came back or something. My former dentist told me to come right in and they would take a look at my mouth. When taking a look at my mouth, I was informed that I did have a crown on tooth number 28. And I'll be at a new style crown, there was one there so he didn't understand why Dr. Mo was saying there was no crown there. I called back SNY dental, and informed them of what I had found out. The girl on the phone couldn't have been less enthusiastic when I informed her that indeed I did have a crown on the tooth that the doctor wanted to put a crown on, then it wouldn't be continuing with their services because of the fact he couldn't even realize that it was a crown and not my own(of course this is saying some wonders for my former dentist as if he could do a crown that nobody recognized was a crown. I guess that's really good right?!) I found out after the fact as well that SNY dental build mass health for a different tooth. Not even when they looked at, and not even one that they saw had problems with it. When I called them back to let them know that they had processed the wrong tooth. They didn't care. So I had to call mass health to tell them that the dentist office put in for Services. They didn't provide. Stay away from this place. The fact that this dentist couldn't recognize a crown and wanted me to have $2400 worth of services done without even taking any x-rays or anything? Frightening.

Since it has been years since i visited the dental office so you can guess there were x-rays needed to be taken, lots of cleaning done and other checks to make sure i keep chewing delicious food everyday I got there and they called me right in on time without any delay. Office is great and the staff was helpful. No long paperwork everything is on Ipad and things got done quickly. My X-rays were taken and then Dr. Patel checked them before the cleaning begun. everything looks good . Cleaning took like half an hour for the bottom teeths. The Dental assistant was great and funny and kept talking making me feel comfortable. She really did do a good job. The upper part was to be done in second session since that was going to take time . I got second appt within 2 days of first one. The second appt went really quick as well. I was done on time no extra waiting and the second dental assistant who did the cleaning was really nice as well. Dr Amlani came and said Hi and checked upon me knowing i was there couple of days ago and made sure everything was ok as Dr. Patel was with another patient. I am glad i went after many years. Teeths now Shine like a diamond (throwing lil Rihanna in there). Thank you to the wonderful staff and Dr's it was a great experience.

I had heard bad things about the new partners that he had brought in, but never expected to be treated so poorly. I had a filling fall out and just wanted to have the tooth refilled. Instead I was told that they are not an emergency dental care facility, and if I do not come to the practice regularly for exams and check ups that they would no longer see me for dental care. Dr. Patel was condescending, dismissive, and clearly only interested in customers that represent an ongoing revenue stream. Even if I was welcomed back I would not go. I was charged $109 to sit in her chair and told she would not treat me. Outrageously bad customer service. To be clear...the filling that fell out was one that they had done on a root canal several years ago. Now they are saying the tooth is fractured and needs to be pulled but they do not do that there... really just at a loss for words.
