So, this is really their review. I could tell you that Gail bends over backwards to accommodate our schedule, I could tell you that Heather hugged me the last time I left ( we were moving back to PA), or I could tell you that Dr. Brother cared about my teeth enough to show me graphic images of what would happen to my gums and teeth if I didn't finally start flossing. I finally did start flossing, Dr. Brother, if you are reading this. However, here is what my kids think... Liam, age 7: It's fun. The people are nice. It's colorful. I like the waterfall, I think it is my favorite. They give prizes at the end. Lily, age 5: I like to go to Dr. Brother's because he has pretty, nice and fancy toothbrushes that you get to keep. Well, you get to pick out and watch a show while you get the checkup.

During the process he cracked my jaw and suddenly no English was spoken. they didn't tell me but I felt it and said hey did you crack my jaw? After a min Dr Alex said yes and I'll fix it free. I also was told now I can't have the 3 on 6 I really wanted unless I paid 3k more. Going forward and after paying thousands I still have temporary teeth that are way too narrow and bad fitting. Dr Alex has no humanity and left me this way.

A couple of years ago I foolishly bit into a piece of hard candy and broke off a repair she did and Dr. Nishimura fixed the tooth again for free. She has a state of the art Cerec machine too and I have had her do both filling and crowns for me, always done perfectly well and without pain too. She is very attentive to her patients' comfort. Her staff is excellent too - Both Emily and Donna are superb hygienists who also do thorough and exceptional work while being sensitive to patient comfort. The office administrator Casey is delightful to work with as well. My wife and I have gone to Dr. Nishimura for almost eight years now and I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a new dentist. As strange as it may sound, I actually look forward to my dental appointments.

Trying every which way to find another benefit code they could use to pay for things. But all the communications stopped after tapping out my dental benefits it all stopped. I felt like just a piggy bank for them. Don't go to Dr. Nishimura if you want a dentist that listens, truly listens to your concerns. She'll patronize you and and be dismissive and do what she wants anyways despite your concerns. But it's worse than bed side manor. I stopped going after she left my teeth in worse condition than when I started. I went to two other dentists since then and both told me it would cost over $20K in braces and other dental work to fix it. I have been so bummed about dentist and afraid to go to any more. I even make the drive from the North Shore to Lexington to continue with such a tremendous dentist. From the moment you enter you are greeted by the most lovely women working the front desk. On certain days even Dr. DiMattia's wife is working. They remember most patients by name and will inquire about family, work etc. I usually see Joan for my cleanings. She books quickly because she is awesome. She does such a thorough job but you don't feel like your teeth have been assaulted. You leave saying wow so that's what they're supposed to feel like. Again Joan has worked for Dr. DiMattia for years. Having employees that stick with a dentist I think show the character of the professional. You can tell his employees hold him with high regard and so do his patients. Dr. DiMattia is personable and most importantly honest. You're never talked into unnecessary xrays, this that or anything else. Dr. DiMattia is incredibly fair on the prices he charges too. In this day and age when a good dentist is hard to find and many people fall victim to gentle dental or other national chains it's nice to know that Dr. DiMattia takes the Hippocratic oath to heart.

Every member of my family, except me, sees Dr. Asarkof every six months for cleanings and checkups. I am definitely the worst patient of the bunch. As a result of his good care, none of my three children (18-36) or my wife has had any serious dental issues. I cannot recall the last time anyone even had a filling. Over the last 10 years, I have had at least three occasions in which 1970s era fillings broke or fractured. Dr. Asarkof has been incredible in scheduling urgent visits and repairing the problem on the spot. Prior to becoming his patient, a prior treating "corporate dentistry" practitioner had recommended $12-$15,000 in "gotta have" dental work. I am pleased to say that I've had none of that work in the last 20 years. Kudos to Dr. A. and his friendly staff. I cannot imagine a better, more competent and caring dentist than he.
