Sketchy place, I came in for a dental cleaning as my regular dentist was on vacation. I get cleanings every six months and take very good care of my teeth. So imagine my surprise when a hygienist and the male dentist said I had three cavities that needed immediate filling. I was unconvinced. Lund Dental is by far the best experience I have ever had with a dentist! I switched dentists after having a horrible experience with a previous dentist. Based on this experience, I was very anxious about having work done. The staff were all incredibly patient and compassionate, and I never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for anything. They explained everything clearly and ensured that I was not in pain and was comfortable with what they were doing before proceeding. I was very impressed with how well-versed the practice is in the latest technology and techniques for dental care. Cured my dental phobia once and for all!!!!! Staff is kind, professional and talented.

My regular dentist was not available. so I went to Dr. Lund for a filling. She ignored the filling but recommended a crown or partial crown. When I did not immediately accept, she said she was most insulted and sent me a $167 bill for a 9 minute consultation. I used to go to Dr. Lunds office for teeth cleaning. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review for any business, but the customer service I'v been receiving at Lund dental is much to be desired. Today was the straw that broke the camels back. For the past 6 months Lund dental has been OVERLY aggressive with me trying to get me to come in for a cleaning (During a Pandemic mind you.) Their phone calls and emails are a bit mis leading saying things like "There is an Issue with your account" or "This is your last warning". What is one to think when they see those headlines? I have been very nervous about scheduling an appointment for a cleaning because I have a compromised immune system and have been very carful about being out and about during this pandemic. I finally mustered up the courage to make an appointment for a cleaning with Lund. I did it through their website and was contacted by reception. She asked if I could do (Today) a 2:00PM Thursday appointment, which I responded yes...I'll see you at 2:00. Well, I showed up at 2 today and they told me that I have no appointment? They "Just" got my email, which I had sent they day before. So you're telling me that you did not check your email all day after sending me an email at 3:00 O'clock the day before? I took time off of work for this appointment. My frustration was apparent but was greeted with a bit of an attitude by reception. By saying "well...what do you want us to do?" I want you to honer your appointment is what I want. And no I can't come back an hour later because I'm due back at work. I just took time off for this appointment which now I will have to do again when I find myself a new dentist to do my business with. I really did enjoy my Hygienist there and I do think that they do good dental work...but, they are unorganized, Unprofessional, insensitive and overly aggressive when it comes to their customer service. read more

This is a great office! As a dentist myself, I fully trust Dr. Cara and Dr. William with my dental care. Their team is really efficient and courteous - I think everyone said hi to me when I arrived and as I walked through the clinic. Most of my family goes to Lund Dental Associates. We are happy with the caring staff. My dental hygienist, Dianne, keeps very good track of my needs and wishes. The office is immaculately clean and the equipment is state of the art. My family members that don't go to Lund Associates don't go due to higher pricing and the fact they are closed on Fridays, and have lots of holiday time off. read more

I'm from Seattle Washington currently on the East Coast for business for a month. I chipped my front tooth pretty badly while out to dinner one night. Based on Yelp reviews, I called Lund Dental Associates and they were able to get me in next day and took my insurance. Everyone was so friendly and nice and accommodating, it was a breath of fresh air. I don't remember the girls name at the front desk but she handled everything so efficiently. I believe Nancy was the assistant and she was very kind and made me feel very welcome. Dr. Lund himself was very professional and did excellent work and I was out of there within 30 minutes. We decided look for another dentist after a year with Lund for a few reasons: 1. Way too much marketing (lots of requests for reviews and all 5's so "caveat emptor" believing all their reviews) and over programmed services for our liking (we're used to a cleaning on first visit and one every 6-9 months .... 4 cleanings a year?).2. Lots of chit chat about meaningless topics by staff (everyone does it ... sorry, everyone is nice but we don't need to hear about personal lives especially when your mouth is full and you can't communicate). 3. Dr Kara Lund is capable but Dr William Lund is a bit shaky which didn't make us very confident. Shop around and if you're thinking about signing up for one of their programs to save money give some thought to just trying them ala carte before committing. Not our type of practice. read more

So impressed with this practice! A piece of my molar broke while chewing and I started having pain because a section of the pulp was exposed. Being 28 weeks pregnant, of course I was hesitant to have any major dental work done but once I had the chance to meet with Dr Senatore, I felt completely at ease. I had seen two previous Endodontist Providers and my (now) former dentist prior to coming to Lund dental who all told me the only solution was a root canal and they also were not able to use Lidocaine without epinephrine which is the only anesthetic my OB would clear me for. I expressed these concerns to Dr Senatore during our consultation and he assured me he would use an anesthetic, such as Mepivacaine that is safe for pregnancy. After he reviewed my x-rays he offered to temporarily fill the section of tooth I lost until after I deliver if I felt more comfortable with that plan. This is the first time a dental provider (I've seen 3 so far) has been accommodating and sensitive to my needs during pregnancy and I am so thankful I found this practice! They genuinely care about the patient vs the bottom line and it shows in the way they treated me today. Dr Senatore and his assistant, Sue went out of their way to explain each step to me as they were doing it and I've never been more comfortable sitting in a dental chair before. Also a big thank you to Elizabeth T.- a lovely staff member who referred me to this practice. I have no problem commuting from Haverhill to continue to be a patient at this practice. I think anyone can judge a Dentist office by their service, to which this office has no equal, but a true gauge of the quality of an office is to see the interactions of the doctors with their staff. The staff has been with them as long as I know and respect both the doctors and view them as family. I think even more importantly than this is they make all their patients feel like they too are part of the family. I always thought that Yelp or other reviews were written by friends and/or employees, but, aside of being on the fence I needed a dentist in Stoneham and Lund Associates seemed at the time to have very good reviews. Well I made the appointment (i'd rather be put in a cobra's den than go to the dentist}, arrived and was greeted by Jane. Jane welcomed me and then introduced me to everyone in the office, dentists,dental assistants and administration. I mean "Really?, Who does this? I then met Dr. Bill, and the staff that would be attending to my situation. Astutely sensing nervousness, he said "look, we'll do whatever you want, no pressure and here's the options. let's see what's the best deal for you!" Bravo! I stumbled into the bathroom last night at 3AM and caught a glimpse of this guy with beautiful teeth. . .!! After 10 minutes mirror gazing, I went back to bed but not without seriously considering booting up the computer to write this note right then. What I was thinking was that in a procedure (replacing all my front teeth) where to me it seems that there must be hundreds of things that can go wrong, where its not just science and math but art, nuance, and detail . . .how did everything go so well? I've always had the greatest appreciation for your workmanship,(remember that that molar you rebuilt from scratch years ago like it was nothing?) , but I also admire what it must have taken to build such a thriving practice over decades, stay at the cutting edge of the profession, and raise a family. I can only imagine how rewarding it must be to have a daughter working alongside you. To me that speaks volumes about not just your professional ability but about who you are. This is why I never considered another dentist for this procedure and was %120 confident in your office. And this brings me to my final point. . . . the beautiful teeth are not just due to a couple of common components but to all the ingredients that you put into it -- because you put your all into your work and the result is always outstanding -- really it is an art and you are an exceptional artist. My three kids (ages 5, 3 18 months) have had fantastic experiences at Lund dental and they are very much looking forward to their next appointment! Most recently I brought my 19 month in for her first dental visit. Jeanne, a hygenist, was absolutely amazing with her and I could not have asked for anything better. She was very patient and kind and was able to do a full exam on Kates teeth, brush them and provide a fluoride treatment. I have avoided going to the dentist for many years because of anxiety. I started going to Lund Dental a few months ago and every visit has been great! The office staff are all so nice, by my second visit they knew me by name, remembered what I do for work and knew who my husband was... Dr. Cara is so nice and helpful, no one is judgemental at all. They went over all the work I needed, didn't make me feel bad for not going to the dentist regularly and is helpful with figuring out the best plan of action. Dr. Cara Lund and her team are the most professional dentistry team I have ever interacted with. New to the area, I was looking for a new dentist for a year. I, like most people, get anxious when going to the dentist so it took me so much research to find the right one. Believe it or not, I actually LOOK FORWARD to my time with Dr. Cara. I unfortunately just had a cavity filled the other day and it was actually ENJOYABLE. Her and her team are very funny and entertaining and the treatment flew by. We were still chatting as I was walking out the door because they are just that friendly and wonderful. They are all extremely kind, considerate and professional. All treatment plans and finances are discussed in a private business office. I've also overheard the team interacting with children and they are so fun and friendly and kids run in the door excited to see the staff.
