I've been coming to PDA for a few years now. This place is ran mostly by a great team of funny, friendly, and bad ass women dentists and staffs. They are very thorough with cleaning and any procedures, I never felt rushed leaving here. It's super clean and modern. I went in for my first appointment with this dentist, and it didn't start out well. They have a sandwich board outside the office and it had a big politics related sticker on it, which included a swear word. Given the event the sticker was referring to it had been up at least 6 months. Swear words, on the sign outside a pediatric dentist office. Someone had made an extremely poor attempt to remove the sticker, but the words were still clearly visible. When asked about it, the staff said they'd mention it to someone. They were 10 minutes late getting me started. I have a complicated medical history, which they went through in detail. Put those together and by the time they were ready to start cleaning, my appointment time was up, and they have a strict policy that they couldn't go over time, so I had to leave. I gave it a second chance (the sticker was still on the sign untouched) went in, only to see a different dentist who also wanted to go through my history. They questioned every detail I provided and flat out refused to take the safety precautions that my doctor required, telling me that I was making them up. At which point my appointment time was once again up and... well you know the rest. Never again. read more

We have been coming here faithfully for many years. Both the kids and myself. The adult dentistry services are beyond compare. Probably the best staff ever for adults. The kids had a great experience as well until they got to their first filling. What a nightmare. My daughter was already nervous knowing she had a cavity. When I asked if she was going to receive Novocain I was told to wait for the dentist. When the dentist walked in, she didn't acknowledge me or my daughter. Just got to work. No prepping, no information, no "hey this is what is going to happen." She did administer novacain and their way of handling it was by having the assistant tap my daughter's legs and wave her hands in the air. I'm not kidding. My child was 9. Not 5. Tapping and waiving hands is not going to stop her from noticing multiple shots of novacain being thrust into her gums. She later told me she was scared and upset from the experience and would have wanted to know what was happening in advance of treatment. She is dead right. The pediatric dentist's should be given more training on trauma, sensitivity and working with older children. As we all know, children and adults are already scared of going to the dentist. They do not need experiences like these, especially first time experiences with a cavity, to go so negatively. Please do better. We have switched dental practices and I have notified them of this situation. read more

Dealing with the Covid restrictions and extra gear, I had a wonderful experience both times I've been there. They were extra careful and extra kind. The work I had done was perfect and will be going back as a regular patient. read more

I have never had a problem at PDA .The staff are great and very caring especially when it comes to children's needs . I wouldn't go anywhere else. They text you when your appointment is coming up so it makes it easier to remember when to go .And the entire place is spotless ! read more

We have never had anything but a positive experience here. All the staff is friendly, professional and informative. After my daughter had several really bad experiences at different dentists as a preschooler, I tried PDA on a recommendation from a friend. My daughter is now a teenager and although it is a bit of a pain to drive there, as it isn't super close for us, it is only twice a year and worth it for the positive experience, she has there. read more

Horrible dental practice. They did not see my 4-year old daughter for a scheduled visit that we had made until we paid them $250 in advance. We told them we have dental insurance and are willing to pay if insurance refused to pay them, but they insist on us paying in advance and seek reimbursement with our insurance later. They called the insurance and got verification that group and subscriber ID covers our visit, but then they said it is 10 minutes to 2 pm and we have to reschedule since they close @ 2 pm. Very unprofessional receptionist who had smirk during the whole above conversation, but not to blame her personally. Just doing her job. This dental practice is hungry to rub you from your money. We have 3 daughters that were patients here and overall the girls had a good experience with the dentists and staff. That all changed when our middle child had 3 small cavities in her BABY teeth. Per the dentist's recommendation they needed to be filled. We have dental insurance and my wife received an Estimate of Benefits (EOB) and the person at the desk said we will see what is covered and had my wife sign it. PLEASE BE AWARE!!! This dental association only does resin filings for children. If you aren't aware, as we weren't, resin fillings are the white ones. In the past my dentists have always asked if I wanted the white or regular because the white are more expensive and the insurance doesn't cover as much. When we questioned the billing department we were told, sorry you signed the estimate. When we said no one ever asked if we wanted white they said that is all they do because it is "safer" - which according to several reputable websites is not proven valid - and she said we should have asked and it is listed on their website. I went to my dentist who actually recommended Pediatric Dental Associates, for his professional opinion. He said that we had 100% reason to be concerned with the unethical and borderline fraudulent practice. He said that they should have clearly communicated the fact that they only use Resin/White fillings, patients are NOT responsible for understanding dental jargon, and they absolutely know that insurance companies DO NOT COVER these, unless you are on a MASS HEALTH plan! It is unfortunate that this place feels it necessary to mislead its patients in order to pocket more money. They just lost 3 patients, and possible more, that would have been a lifetime of business. I felt compelled to share this experience so it doesn't happen to someone else. read more

A wonderful dental practice that I cannot recommend enough. My dentist, Dr. Kallen Hull is amazing when it comes to performing procedures of all levels of complexity. I've been a patient there for less then a year and comparing them to other dental offices is a big difference. I am happy with dental care in America in general, but I have to say that his team goes that extra step to make it super pleasant and absolutely pain-free. If you're looking for a dentist then you get my strong recommendation for this group and especially for Dr. Hull. Extremely gentle, knowledgeable, and with a great sense of humor is the best way to describe him. I just had a big filling taken care of; absolutely no pain, and very quick. :) read more

My children and myself have gone to pda in reading for over a year and we absolutely love them! We are always in on time and in and out in no time. The staff is wonderful! We also go to the orthodontist there and she and her team is amazing! We switched to them from another family dentist and they are far above the old dentist in care! We are very happy :) read more

My daughter came home from her appointment with swollen lips, and her mouth hurting so bad from the cleaning that she could not eat dinner. When i called to express my concern, I was told that swollen lips were common from the fluoride treatment - even though we had never experienced this before with any of our children. There was no acknowledgement that they made a mistake. We have since transferred to another dentist, that upon review of her x-rays saw cavities that needed to be filled, as well as recommended oral surgery for her wisdom teeth. read more

We have two sons, ages 3 and 6. The staff is always friendly, extremely accommodating to parents and great with the kids during the appointment. I would definitely recommend this practice to those looking for pediatric dentists in the area. read more

My son Joshua (4 yrs old) had his first cavity filled today. Dr Gigi and staff were incredible. No crying, no pain, he didn't even know they used a needle for the Novacain. If you are as traumatic as i was about your child's first experience going under the drill I can't recommend these people enough. read more
