    Honestly Things started out SO great and I was very impressed! I even brought my niece with me and…read moreshe started treatment there. I will start by saying, Dr. Varallo has a great chair side manor, and is very personable, but that doesn't make up for what has happened. I am being as detailed as I can be as to warn others to really, really do their research. Midway through the projected treatment time I started to get nervous. I constantly had to remind him what my "end goal" was and once I got a comment of "Oh, I would have done things differently from the beginning if I knew that".. My goal was clear at the beginning. When we were almost done treatment I was told that my bottom teeth were done.. While still being very crooked. If I didn't mention anything they would have been left like that! I, with no dental training, had to ask for a bracket reposition, Thanks internet! At this point I was very unhappy and afraid I wouldn't be happy with my results. I confided in the assistant multiple times to let her know I was not happy. (Please note that my anger is with the office manager and Dr. Varallo.. The assistants that I have personally worked with, Ashley and Sandra) were really kind.) The braces were removed and I made it clear I was pretty unhappy, (so much so I teared up when I saw them without the brackets on for the first time) with the results and nothing was said or done. Literally nothing. I thought I was just being a little picky, but Fast forward to a trip to my regular dentist for a cleaning, I was asked if I had finished my treatment with Dr. Varallo... My crossbite (effects my TMJ) and midline were never fixed or even attempted to be fixed. My front six teeth are uneven some being higher than others, and now after nearly two years I am starting from square one again. When I expressed how unhappy I was with the office manager she let me know Dr. Varallo went over "the limitations as to what he could do". I was then told by Denise (OM), that Dr. Varallo would not see me during business hours and if I wanted to talk about it, I could go in before the office opened, or during a lunch break, but those times were not an option for me at all, as they were in the middle of drop off and pickup for school. I have now been to a few orthos in the area and have gotten consults and exams. ALL of them have said more could have been done to get a much better outcome not only cosmetically (my main goal was to widen my smile and I was told unanimously that more could be done while Dr. Varallo said no more could possibly be done) and to fix my bite. I am back at square one and about to start treatment again. *Edited to add, Dr. Varallo never reached out or acknowledged that I was upset or dissatisfied with my outcome. NOT ONCE. Owning a small business and knowing first hand how word of mouth is really how you get business, that shocked me. And he seemed like such a nice guy who genuinely cared. After he was informed of the yelp review, he sent an email asking if my niece was going to continue her treatment here after "I lost trust in his practice" he then smugly offered to refund HER entire treatment cost while not mentioning a thing about to try and make things right with me. He did not even apologize or try to make it right. I sent a follow up email and it went unanswered. He did this knowing I had seen other orthos and have to redo treatment. I am willing to share all other orthos findings and new treatment plan privately with anyone who wishes, as I hope that this beer happens to anyone else. As an adult patient, I can not even begin to tell you how stressful this whole process was. From taking tons and tons of time off work (I was told at my consult they were open mornings, then found out they don't do morning adjustments those are for "long appointments", to now having to hire a lawyer to get my money refunded so I can go spend another two years fixing issues, I am not only frustrated, but could be out well over $6000. I truly, truly urge you to get multiple consults and to think on this decision as it could be extremely costly and time consuming.

I had some crowding, so a few of my teeth needed to be shaved down a bit before they could be straightened out. That was quite jarring but Dr. Vallaro and his staff were so kind throughout the whole procedure. And most importantly it was expertly done. Currently I'm about half-way done with Invisalign and I'm making great progress. I can't wait to see the finished product. Would highly recommend Dr. Vallaro and his team!

The Reading office is directly across from a pediatricians office . The office is new and very nice inside. The Winchester office is in a nice professional building and was just recently renovated. PDA is definitely paying attention to details and creating a nice customer experience for kids and parents.

This afternoon, we had an appointment for our two kids for cleanings and traffic was at a standstill. I called the practice to let them know we would be a little late and no one picked up, so I left a voicemail. When we arrived (15 min late), there was NOT A SINGLE PERSON IN THE WAITING ROOM, but they said they were cancelling both our appointments and would not see us. I am a health care provider at a busy hospital practice myself and I cannot imagine refusing to see my patients under the same circumstances. If PDA's business model relies on scheduling appointments with such a compressed schedule that they can't or won't accommodate any late arrivals (even as a first time event from an established patient and without anyone waiting), they obviously do not care about patients or the service they provide. While it's unlikely to make a dent in their hefty incomes, we won't be returning.

    My wife and I are looking to choose a new dental insurance plan and also need to to change our…read morecurrent dentist of 20 years. So I called Dr Lennon's office yesterday at 5:30. The office was closed, so I requested a call back for today. NO call back, so at about 4:45 today I called and got the recep/admin to discuss what insurance they accept and to determine whether the office might be a match for my wife and I. (Dental insurance can be tricky with percentages, deductibles, maximums, waiting periods, etc and I had several questions about various carriers.) The admin (who I won't name was pleasant enough, but at exactly 5pm (and I mean EXACTLY), she asked to put me on hold and I was disconnected 30 seconds later. I called back within seconds (not minutes), but the nightly voicemail had been activated and no one was picking up. If the disconnect had been an accident and the office doesn't have call back caller ID, I would have hoped she would have waited 60 seconds for MY callback and have picked up the call. If she then said it was closing time and had offered to call me back tomorrow, I would have certainly understood. This is disappointing and appears to be very unprofessional behavior. Maybe they are not fussy for new patients. However if the doctor is in fact seeking new patients, he might think about more vigorous training and accountability at the first point of contact, as he just lost two potential patients. For readers to properly assess this review: I've written a total of four Yelp reviews over the past few years. Three: 5 star reviews and one: 1 star review, so I'm not a chronic complainer. However, I do believe in good manners and customer service. Thank you

    I'm from out of town......way out of town, and broke a tooth Tuesday morning....not just any tooth…read morebut a front tooth. I called and the very nice staff got me an appt the very next day..Wednesday morning. Thanks to the great staff and especially Janice and Dr Cohen I was back to normal in about an hour. The repaired tooth matched perfectly. I can not tell you how pleased I am. They also filed my dental insurance. I would recommend this group highly!! Thanks again.
