I wish I can give Exquisite Dentistry zero stars. I had a dental cleaning and during that visit Dr. Sanjay Talluri checked my entire teeth and gums and asserted that everything looked good and that I didn't have any inflammation. However, soon after this visit, I noticed a general gum recession all over my mouth. Never before did any such thing happen to me. When I returned to report the problem of the gum recession that happened on the heels of the dental cleaning, Dr. Talluri told me that the recession was caused by the gum inflammation that he had noticed before, clearly contradicting the statement that he had asserted immediately during the first visit, following the cleaning. read more

I had seen the same dentist in Boston for over 20 years. I changed dentist and starting going to Exquisite Dentistry in Melrose, I found out how my other dentist did not care for my teeth properly. Dr. Scola, I haven't seen him in years. I had a bond done back when I was a kid, I was 5 years old, got myself into a big wheel accident back in 1980. I face planted into a land tie in our driveway. He bonded my front tooth and it lasted 37 years!! I tore into a box of M&M's last week and broke it; my fault. I came back today, 37 years later to get it fixed, and I also had other broken teeth due of a mountain bike accident about 12 years ago, I needed more work done. After spending months looking at the business sign at the bus stop knowing I needed an appointment I finally made an appointment. After meeting Dr. Khuri I knew that I found the right dentist. Not only did he know what he was talking about he is a very very nice guy. I do have a biased opinion on Dentists because my Dad is a dentist far away from me so I can't make time to see him. He did 2 cleanings because I hadn't been in 2 years, didn't over charge me and told me up front what I needed to pay for fillings. The office is clean, they definetly use an autoclave, and the assistants are super nice. I would recommend to anyone to go here. And he also took time to teach me how to floss the right way, that is very important. read more

I had an unusual experience with Dr. Scola at exquisite Dentistry. At this practice I found a dentist who is committed to excellence, ethical in his practice, and stands by his work . If this is what you are looking for, you will find it in this dental practice. I had come in to have a root canal and a crown. I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff and throughout my experience there they have been extremely kind and polite and professional. Dr. Scola manner is brisk, direct and friendly. He is clear about what he thinks you need, and expects you to be an active participant in making decisions about your dental health. After having the crown done, which was a brisk thorough and professional process, I found that I was catching food between the crown and the adjacent crown. I later came to understand that this was because an adjacent crown has been compromised by previous dental work. Once Dr. Scola recognized that this was a problem, he created another crown at NO expense to myself. Even though the origin of the problem was with the adjacent crown, Dr. Scola respected my wish to minimize the necessary work and created a crown which would accommodate the existing space issues . He was clear that he would advise addressing the problem thoroughly, and repairing the early compromised work as well. But he respected my wishes and resolved the problem WITH OUT any additional cost to me. As a patient, I respect Dr Scola's clarity and work ethic, as shown in his representation of what needed to be done,and his willingness to address the problem at hand. I cannot say enough wonderful things about all of the staff at Exquisite Dentistry. Dr. Scola puts you at ease immediately but is also very straight forward with everything he does. It is also very obvious he has the best interest of the patient at heart. He did a crown for me and had the lab redo it because it was only a "good" fit and not "perfect". Renee, the office manager and all of the other girls in the office are so incredibly kind and respectful of everyone. Dr. Scola is AWESOME. Recently I put a pretty good chip in top front tooth. After two disastrous attempts by my dentist to bond it, I found Exquisite Dentistry. The tooth was a train wreck when I arrived at the office. It was too wide, too short, and too thick. It looked so bad. Well, Dr. Scola fixed it perfectly and within an hour I left the office smiling.
