I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Alex Annese and the entire team at Annese DMD. I've…read morebeen a patient of this practice for many years -- first with his father, and now with Dr. Alex -- and I absolutely love seeing the generational transition of care. It says so much about the heart of a practice. A few years ago, I started clear aligner treatment to correct severe crowding, a chipped tooth, and years of difficulty maintaining proper hygiene because of how crowded my teeth were. My case was not simple, my treatment lasted close to four years but Dr. Alex was patient, thorough, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. He explains everything clearly, has an amazing chairside manner, and truly makes you feel comfortable and confident in the plan. The results have completely transformed my smile. I am beyond grateful. The office staff deserves just as much praise. The team is warm, welcoming, and consistent it's always familiar faces, which says a lot about the work environment and culture there. They worked with me financially to make treatment doable. I paid out of pocket, and they offered flexible arrangements that made it realistic without financial stress. Everything was transparent and fair. In all my years here, I can honestly say I've had maybe one minor negative interaction -- and that person didn't even stay long. Overall, this office runs on professionalism, kindness, and integrity. They do see children for general dental care, which I love but I only wish they offered orthodontic clear aligner treatment for kids as well. If they ever do, my teenage daughter will absolutely be there for the same transformation I experienced. That's how much I trust this team. If you're considering clear aligners or any dental work, this is the place.

They kept taking multiple shots, apologizing, and struggling to get them right. I really wish someone experienced had been supervising them until they actually knew what they were doing. I had a very negative experience at this dental office. I came in asking for one-piece crowns to match what I already had, but instead they gave me four separate crowns that did not fit properly and did not match the shade of my teeth. I also felt pressured into agreeing to four root canals and four crowns because I have MassHealth and was told I would have to pay out of pocket if I waited. It felt like they were using my insurance situation to rush me into treatment. When I complained about the wrong shade, they blamed me and said the shade had to be checked in proper light, so they made me go out into a brighter hallway. Even after that, the crowns still were not right. When I went back to have them removed, the assistant initially tried to remove my actual tooth instead of the temporary crown, which was alarming. During that visit, the power went out, and this office did not even have a generator, which made the whole situation worse since they rely on electricity for dental equipment. The dentist was also rude to me and to his assistants, who barely spoke English, and he seemed to blame me whenever something went wrong. The whole experience was uncomfortable, disorganized, and stressful. I will never go back to this office. The only positive part of my visit was the two front desk workers, Anna and Carla, who were very kind and professional, so the one star I'm giving is for them. Unfortunately, there were several other issues as well, but I didn't want to make this review too long.

My second visit which would have been my initial exam with a doctor never happened because the receptionist made an executive decision to tell me "I'm not a good fit for the practice". Olga is the front desk person who has 0 people skills and is comfortable enough to tell people not to come back as if she's the one doing any of the dental work! I am shocked in the way I was treated and will be telling anyone I know to avoid coming here. It is unfortunate she is representing this practice. If I could give the Boschetti Dental office zero stars, I would due to their dishonesty,…read morediscriminatory practices, and inability to stay true to their word. I had a new patient consult with Dr. Sandy Perez on 10/19 regarding tooth pain that I had been experiencing towards the back of my upper left side of my mouth. During my consult, Dr. Perez and his team performed bitewing x-rays, as well as a panoramic x-rays. I was told by Dr. Perez and the hygienist that my oral hygiene was pristine despite not seeing a dentist for a few years due to the pandemic and dealing some medical issues unrelated to my oral health. Dr. Perez did notify me that I had two very small cavities, but that these cavities were very small, and that they would be an easy fix when I came back in again. I have a medical condition that can result in a predisposition to jaw cysts (however no other oral symptoms beyond that and nothing major that has limited me from having dental work in the past at other dental facilities), so as a precaution, Dr. Perez referred me to an oral surgeon and said that he would have me schedule another visit with him for a cleaning and fillings for my cavities once I got the green light from the oral surgeon to resume dental care. I promptly scheduled the consult with the oral surgeon that he referred me to, and in the interim, asked my PCP to order a maxillofacial CT, which was reviewed by my PCP and the radiologist at Tufts Medical and was completely normal with zero evidence of any jaw cysts or other jaw issues that would need to be treated by an oral surgeon. I saw the oral surgeon on 11/4 and the oral surgeon also said that my pain was not caused by a jaw issue, but rather likely due to the cavities and referred me back to Dr. Perez at Boschetti Dental. I quickly reached out to Dr. Perez, stated that the oral surgeon had approved me to have the fillings, and requested scheduling my fillings for my cavities. Now, Dr. Perez is going back on his word regarding filling the cavities, stating that my case is "too medically complex", despite fully knowing my medical history during my initial consult, agreeing that he would fill the cavities when I returned, saying that the cavities would be an "easy fix", knowing that I have had similar dental work done at other community dental offices in the past, and even speaking to the oral surgeon who cleared me to have dental work done. Rather, he would like me to remain in pain while I wait (what would likely be months) for a consult at a dental clinic in a teaching hospital facility, and possibly risk the small cavities becoming a major medical issue. Additionally, Dr. Perez went as far as saying that I was to blame for needing to wait months to be seen at a teaching hospital facility to have my cavities filled since I hadn't had a dental cleaning since right before the pandemic (though he knew that I had other medical issues unrelated to my oral health that took priority and had originally said that I was doing an excellent job caring for my teeth. I would not recommend this dishonest practice even to my worst enemy. Update: I got an appointment at another community dental office today, and not only did they remove the cavities and complete the fillings on the teeth that were in pain, but they also noted that Boschetti Dental did not accurately take the bitewing x-rays since they did not capture both the top and bottom teeth in my mouth on nearly all of the x-rays. As a result, Dr. Perez at Boschetti dental under diagnosed the amount of cavities I actually had. When the dental office where I got a second opinion took x-rays (luckily covered by my insurance since I am covered for 2 sets of bitewing x-rays each year), they found several cavities that were not originally visualized.
