One guy here is pretty funny don't j is his name but everyone will know who works there reading this review will know! There is ALOT to select from and special nail packages. The staff speaks clear English (sorry but I prefer to understand what staff is going to be doing on my nails) I can see by the nail brand they use quality is of the top brands as well! I called to get a quick appt which they got us in. First off I learned always ask prices before service. Should be a known of course BUT I took my 2 nieces to get their nails and toes done which are ages 7 and 9 for gel nail polish for their fingers and toes. Not a full pedicure just put their feet in cold water and polished their toes. Not a full manicure just gel polish. Mind you their nails and toes are tiny. Me, I got hard gel fill, short nails no tips just my nails with gel polish and 1 design which is squiggly lines in the middle of the finger nothing crazy. Also a pedicure with white gel polish. Never in my life with even getting my girls a full set of gel nails have I ever paid $80 each for the girls and $75 each for my nails and toes. You know you are getting taken advantage of when he say ok "are you ready for this" as your checking out. I usually tip really good but after these prices I'm good with the tip I gave. On my part, lesson learned ASK PRICES.. $305 for our services today with no full sets or anything crazy done. First and last time visiting this place.. Not to say they were nice but this is why because they were getting me with the pricing. Moved to this area 3 months ago. Tried two other places with a higher rating than this and wasn't thrilled. I'm not sure why their rating isn't higher except maybe because they are from previous owners. It was clean, the employees were friendly, and the prices were more reasonable than others. Heads up, this is called Polished now but shows up as its old name. I recently moved to North Las Vegas and am testing quite a few salons around my home, I'm in my bridal era so I'm testing for bridal shower, Bach, and big day. I started off loving my experience, my pedicure with Tracy (I hope that was her name) was amazing. She was fun to talk to, she offered me wine, and I'm more than happy with my cute French tip toes. I paid $75 because she has to remove previous gel, which felt crazy but I was willing because I had a great experience. Then I got to my acrylic full set. This is for my bachelorette. I'm pretty sad because it felt super rushed, and she never even took the time to match up each nail like I usually see with a full set. The sizes and shapes were different on the matching nail (for example, one pointer was much longer than the other). The painting was rushed as well, I had to ask for her to correct a few, and some of my nails are crooked. The shape is in consistent and the acrylic isn't on some of my nails fully (see pictures) I'm sad because they didn't seem that busy (she was also the one answering phones) so I'm not sure why she rushed through it. Paying $70 bucks (I even tipped lol) for a "meh" full set for an important event is pretty disappointing. If I give this salon a chance again I hope I get a different tech. read more

I brought my husband for a simple mani-pedi and I had gel basic nails and toes. The service was fine and the tech was very nice but I was shocked at the outrageous price. They charged us 185.00 not including the tip! Of course they had to remove my old gel and I had a little acrylic on the tips of my short nails but in all the years I've never paid more to remove your old polish even to soak them a bit. I've been to a few nail salons in Vegas and my experience here was pretty good. It's a small salon with nothing fancy but very clean. The massage chairs for pedicures are STRONG! When you walk in, there's a strong acetone scent that hits you right away. They have a good selection of colors. Wendy was my tech and she took her time. I didn't feel rushed here at all. There were no customers waiting but she was gentle and took her time cutting my cuticles which is always my least favorite part of mani pedis. She also didn't make me feel pressured in to getting a gel pedicure. I got the spa pedicure and manicure ($50) with gel mani (extra $20). It took about an hour for everything. On the opposite end of the salon I overheard a tech trying to explain to a customer that he had to remove her previous dipped nails in order to apply the new dip she wanted. He said that he can't simply give her a fill because the old nail color could show through. She didn't understand him and ended up saying multiple times to him why he asked her what she wanted to do when he should know how to do his job. Despite her being rude to him, he took his time and didn't say anything back to her, OR anything in Vietnamese about her to the other techs so props to him. read more

I'm disappointed with my gel manicure. I got a gel manicure and pedicure yesterday afternoon. My manicure lasted less than 24 hours. I am not sure why the nail polish on my hands hasn't set properly and is peeling. I would love to go back to Sassy's and have it corrected but I got my nails done specifically for vacation and I left this morning. My nails look terrible now. For me it's the end of my time at Sassy's since the nails have peeled and I'm out the money. It's really disappointing since it was a special treat to be able to get mine done before our trip. I have been to this place so many times for pedicures and have always gotten great services. My feet were always soft and I felt amazing when I leave. But this time I did not. I spent 30$ for a 15 min pedicure. My toe nails are rough and catch on my socks. My feet are not soft at all. And still have dead skin hanging from them. I'm so disappointed cause for the last few months I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis. And I am a hair dresser. So I was definitely looking forward to a massage. I didn't get that either. She did try to file them down but they just wouldn't get to a reasonable size and the owner or coworker seemed to be rushing her. This is where my experience goes downhill. When I arrived someone was sleeping. Another person was cleaning and spilled water on me. The other lady kept looking over my nail tech, guiding her through what to do and seemed a bit overbearing. The new owner Stephanie had told me that he is on vacation until the end of March and that she is taking his clients until then. I went and had my nails done. I've been here many times through the years for pedicures. Have never really had a bad experience. I currently left my "go to " place due to new management and weird changes. Decided to start coming here again. Walked in and was immediately helped. I only needed the basic pedicure as I didn't have much calluses. That must be signal to them to not put in effort. Im like most people and enjoy the relaxing pampered time. I didn't get that. 20 min and it was over!! No massage and the bottom of my feet still needed pumice. She was also very rough and was over trimming around my toes. It hurt which is a telltale sign that it wasn't dead skin i was looking and expecting to see my toes bleeding honestly. She finished and told me to sit a few min and she'll be back to put my shoes on. 20 min go by as she's doing a manicure and never even looked back my way. I wanted to show her my feet are not smooth at all. I didn't get the chance. I was sitting there with receipt to sign tho and I couldn't for anything leave a tip after that rushed and effortless job. I have never had to do that to a nail tech before. Ever! So time to find the next best place I suppose because I won't go back after that. There's a lot of competition. Waited for a bit and when sat down, I told them what color I wanted. Didn't have the color I wanted so I went with red. When completed, the lady charged me $40 for gel mani and then gave me the $5 off... the quality of the outcome of my nails was not pleasing as seen in the picture. They are actually rough on the top as you can see and did not look finished. This was hands down the best service I have ever gotten at any nail salon I've been to my whole life... no exaggeration!! They were able to fit in the three of us for last minute pedicures. Right away we were showed the colors we could chose from and not even 10 minutes later, they had all three spots ready for us. I wanted to love this place. my sister loves it and me and my daughter joined her for a girls day. I wanted to get gel manicure and pedicure. I asked specifically for a heart design which they said would be no problem. Everyone working there was very friendly but also pretty pushy. We had to say no to things several times. my pedicure took forever. My daughter and sister were done with the pedicure/manicure before my pedicure was over. the gentleman doing my nails was trying to do this heart I asked for several times and I kept saying never mind let's keep them just plain. he refused and said he will do it. it made me really uncomfortable because the hearts looked awful. Nail art is not his thing, which is fine, but can someone else do it? they look awful. When going to get the manicure done, for some reason they couldn't paint my fingers the same color as my toes? so I finally was like never mind just oil my fingers, I didn't want to have a Mix match set. They charged me for both the gel pedicure and manicure I didn't get. I get home and take a nap, and my toe is sore. I find out that my toe is now infected and has puss coming out of it just hours after my pedicure. The next morning my other big toe is infected with puss coming out of it. I called them and they asked me to come in. They offered to "fix" the situation but my toes hurt so much I couldn't wear shoes that covered the ugly design. I didn't want anyone to touch me. They basically said they can't do refunds. I'd need to talk to the owner. i couldn't have his contact information. I was told that they would rather me go get a lawyer and sue them to go through what their insurance is for. what?!?! 2nd day my heels are now bleeding and in pain because they went too hard removing calluses. I've never had a pedicure that left me limping until I went to Sassy Nails. read more
