I was neither told this at the time when I choose the colour, nor were there signs posted where the nail polish was displayed on the wall. The lady who gave the manicure was nice. The owner was very pushy, she wanted to order it for me and I could pick it up. I googled the brand & colour, Vinylux it's $12.95 Cdn. FYI: there is NO spa... it's a skinny bed in the hallway. STAY AWAY. They have TWO negative reviews on canpages... i should have checked them out first!

Twenty minutes later, I called her and she said she'd arrive in 15-20 minutes. No problem, I walked to Yorkdale Mall to kill some time. I arrived 20 minutes later and she still wasn't there. The shop owner next door (nice guy) struck up a lengthy conversation with me and another hour had past. Lesa finally showed and apologized but also tried to lie her way into an excuse. I let her know that I wasn't going for that. The best thing for her to do was just apologize without an excuse/lie. Luckily, I will only use her one time as I was a visitor to Canada. She is very unprofessional and disrespectful. Her hair styling skills were ok. Usually, I'd leave a tip but not in this case.

The process for the nail removal was very painful and not done properly...and the person doing it for me insisted on putting glue on my natural nail after they used the drill to file it down a bit but broke my nail (see pic). I had to ask them to please stop gluing and filing it while they kept insisting it was fine. I can't imagine the person working on my nails had any legit training because they really did not seem to know what they were doing. And I've been going to nail salons for years. After removing the nails they asked me what colour shellac I wanted but I passed as I wanted to get out of there so badly. Plus my nails, thanks to them, we're in no shape to have shellac put on. They were seriously giving me a panic attack in that place. Worst experience.
