Staff wear masks and they have plexi glass to separate you from the nail tech. I got gel removal and shellac manicure. Total was $50+ tax. They take cash, debit and credit. The nail tech was very thorough and did a great job removing my gel and making it smooth again. She cut and reshaped my nails and removed the dead skin. Her work was pretty good as the shellac was smooth and didn't get any on my cuticles or skin. She made sure to check my nails were evenly shaped compared to my other hand. I also liked their colour selection. Happy I found a new nail place I like!

Honestly, there will be reviews that people aren't happy with the wait because there honestly aren't that much staff here, but I've been to places like Kathy Nails that will get you in on time, but get you out fast and back there real fast because it wasn't done right. They've got a ton of colours to choose from, whether it's shellac or regular colours. Great place, reasonable price!

I came in today on my way to dinner/concert, I was frantically looking for a nail salon in the…read morearea. Victor greeted me and I asked if he can please repair my nail that flung off in an unknown destination. I hate when one nail breaks, I feel uncomfortable/unkept when ones missing. He kindly accepted no hassle at all. Surprised & relieved as I was willing to pay $20 for 1 nail repair. (Side note: Weird some nail salons make you feel you're imposing on them for a 'small/non profit service' especially if it's salon that did the set) I digress. Victor was Extremely Friendly and efficiently quick. Shape was amazing compared to the wreckage the initial person did. If I had time, I would of ask to refill, shape & shellac the whole set. Very nicely done, I was fairly impressed tbh. If I lived in the area, he would definitely be my new preferred monthly Nail Technician. I've been having my nails done since it was the new craze many moons ago and hands down, Victor knows what he's doing. So hard to find a a decent nail tech, let alone a very nice one that is quick, kind & efficient where I don't have to sit for hours trying to look like a civilized human being. We had a great conversation in the limited time I was there. I was so impressed, which led me to this review. Very much deservingly so. Nice clean bright salon. Ample amount of parking in back. Cute fish tank in front, spacious with ample nail and pedicure stations. Huge TV was on as we watched and talked about Euro soccer. A lot of ppl in and out as each one of them seemed like regular clients, he knew them all while multitasking answering numerous calls. (My husband can't drive & talk, so that was impressive!) I did not feel rushed, actually there was a calm spa like vibe going on where others respected each others nail/spa time. It was nice. Others tech smiled at me like they were happy to be there. The previous 5 star reviews speak for themselves. If I'm ever in the area I'll make a point-to see Victor again and get all my monthly nail/pedi services done. I graciously tipped him well and left with a happy vibe & smile. It was a pleasure meeting you & Thank you Victor for saving my evening by just being you.

Amazing job done on my nails…read more My friend recommended this place and I can guarantee I will be coming back here for sure. My nail fill was only 20 dollars. The nail shape is really beautiful as well. The salon itself was very clean and big, and they had a big tv you could watch while getting your nailsdone. They were very friendly people as well .

This used to be a good nail salon, but not anymore!…read more After much thought, I have decided to post my experience with this nail salon to make other people aware and to think twice before going here. The owner has becme very rude and cocky over the past few months, is getting worse, and likes to gossip and insult the customers. I have always appreciated their services and always supported them, but after the last few times I have come in here and seen how nasty and greedy the owner and his wife have become, I have had enought. It is time to switch salons! I was a loyal customer to this nail salon since they opened (for almost 10 years), referred many people here, and they don't care. They pretend to be your friend to get information about you, then talk badly behind your back to the other customers, staff, and people that live in the area. It's sick! Then they act like they never said anythng. They can talk gargabe behind your back, but are too much of a coward to say it to your face. All they care about is getting your money! Did I mention that the wife of the owner of this salon has the nerve to tell other customers that her husband hates me while they are in the chair getting their nails done during the same time I am at the salon?! I couldn't believe it as I never have done anything to them! All I did was support them, and I am still in shock as why they have treated me like this. There is something wrong with this couple that owns this salon, and I would advise to stay away from them. I would check out other salons in the area, and just avoid this place all together. The only person that has remained consistant and professional over the years is the one stylist Calvin. In terms of the rest of the staff, I dont know what their problem or issue is, and I don't want to know. They can insult someone else. I would recommend to go elsewhere. They are better places to go that provide better quality, better customer service, where the salon is cleaner and newly renovated, there are places that have better pricing (I know as I have done my research the last few months before switching), other places have a better colour and style selection, other salons will do a design or ombre without making a big deal or refusing a simple request (not reject your request and get their other clients to post cheesy sticker designs placed on their nail and edit their google review afterward lol), other places appreciate their clientale, and there are other salons that do not insult you in Vietnamese behind your back while you are getting your nails done, gossip about you to their staff/clients in the salon, or people in the area to try and ruin your reputation. This place is rated a 4.7 on Google, but I disagree, after recieving this abusive treatment consistantly for the last six months, I would rate this nail salon as a 4.1, if that! So long Davisville Nails. It's been a real experience and lesson! All the money and time I spent here over the years was a complete waste. You can keep your services and gossip about someone else!

This is my go to place for nails in Mississauga!…read more In a city where there is no shortage of nail salons, and believe me I have tried many of them, Gloss stands out for the service. There is a group of very attentive young ladies that work here. They always remember their regulars and pay attention to special requests. I have brought my mother there who gets grossed out/ticklish from people touching her feet. Its like wrangling a child, but they handle her well. I've also brought my mother in law who is diabetic and they took extra special care of her. They have never cut me while trimming cuticles which is something I can't say for other salons. They work tirelessly to slough off whatever freakish barnacles are growing on my feet. We usually all have a good laugh at the cuticle carnage and they ask if I have a job where I use my hands a lot... not really. No.

Customer…read moreservice was horrible, they spoke in another language the whole time I was there, she cut me during my pedicure and than gave me a glance like I was being a baby when I complained. Manicure was worse because I had a HORRIBLE infection on my left hand ring finger that won't go away, no matter what I do. Not to mention polish chipped after one day...worst mani/pedi ever Place was absolutely filthy. Stay far away. UPDATE: went in and saw the owner. She asked me who did my mani/pedi and when I could not tell her she gave me an even harder time. Telling me I was giving her employees who are new immigrants hard time. First off DO NOT PULL THAT CARD WITH ME. A lot of my friends are immigrants and I do not have a racist bone in my body for anyone. Than had the nerve to tell me I needed to bring her a doctors note ... are you kidding me??? You want me to go back to the doctor pay $20.00 for a note and bring it to you to prove that I have an infection that you can obviously see with your own 2 eyes in your head. (See pics). She gave me a lousy $15.00 back for my manicure even though I have now paid $40.00 for drugs to fight an infection. She asked to see my foot which I said had been cut when I did my pedicure and because there is no mark left a week later she told me too bad...WOW You want an opinion STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM HERE. They are rip off artists and I will be calling the Health Inspector to go in there. I have written proof (in the form of a prescription) and photo proof of a horrible experience and infection.

I'm so annoyed, I can't ever find a perfect nail spot downtown that's not ridiculous…read more I came here before once and didn't like my experience (you'll hear more later) but thought I'd try again because their customer service is really excellent and they are the sweetest. I usually go to my spot in markham but they close before 8pm and I work downtown so there's no way during the weekday that I can make it. First experience - amazing nail technician, fast and gorgeous nude and sparkly nails. However, asked for gel, paid for gel & they used acrylic.. I didn't know until after when I talked to my friend and my other nail lady and she's like "gel has no smell. gel doesn't use powder at all and no chemicals" - however, the smell was SO strong during that first time that they had to open the door. They also used powder and claimed it's gel powder. He even confirmed with me "you want gel right?" So pretty much what they do is prey on newbies (I was one at that time) and use acrylic with a gel top coat & charge you for UV gel. I thought my experience was great until this happened. Please don't lie to me and say it's gel or anything related; that was in Jan when I got it done and every since then I've been doing my nails actual gel @ different spots every time and it's always gel, never a powder. There's no such thing as gel powder. - anyone who has experienced something similar and want to confirm you've been scammed as well, google "gel nail scam" Second experience- very recent. Had my nails done last monday (july 31) for VELD. Just got a simple acrylic+shellac red and Tweetie did it herself. It was pretty, done nicely and FAST. I loved it. But tell me. Why did it start chipping before the week was even done??? I didn't do anything irregular... then when I woke up on Sunday (august 6), the middle one fell off completely. Sigh. Such a waste of $55. They also told me to do chrome nails (the chrome powder/holographic powder), it's an extra $40 on top of acrylic ($35) .... my place in markham literally charges me $45 TOTAL for the same powder. :/ Rough. Anyway, on Monday (Aug 7), 3 of my nails were completely chipped and the middle one was gone. I had no choice but to take the rest off because nothing annoys me more than fugly ass nails. I'm so sad. I love the customer service, the efficiency and I REALLY wanted to have a good experience here but I just didn't.. again.
