These guys were outstanding! Once we knew our tree needed to come down, we tried getting a few quotes. These guys responded immediately and our tree was out in just a couple days. They were very professional and did a fantastic job. I was amazed at how nicely they cleaned up our yard and driveway. Not only did they clean up our yard, but they cleaned up the neighbors yard as well, leaving not even a branch or leaf behind. 5 stars for sure! Sasquatch Tree and Stump Company did a fantastic job taking down our two big trees. The young entrepreneurs were very polite, professional and courteous! I was very impressed the way Gage studied our trees before cutting them down thus eliminated damage to the neighbor's tree and their fencing. His two coworkers read each others minds and worked cooperatively. They did an amazing job cleaning up all the tree mess. We agreed and he wrote it down as part of our quote. After being told 3 different times that he would come on a certain day or sometime that week, still we had no one come. The one time he offered to come we said we were out of town, but that they could do it anyways and he responded, "we can do when you're back. We're normally extremely busy but will find an early day open." They had no problem taking out the "paid" part of the job almost immediately, but now after 2 months of waiting for the trees to be removed, Jeremy, the owner, told us to "go buy a shovel I'm not interested in doing it." Therefore, not completing the job that was agreed upon and in writing. Jeremy is extremely unprofessional and unreliable. We were willing to pay for this from the start, which is why we contacted him in the first place. All we wanted was for the trees to be taken out and now Jeremy is sending us text messages saying "I just want to say thanks for the nice review. Do you think I'm a deceptive sales person to get your measly $600 you don't know this but I'm worth about 10 million I was going to help you dig those trees up or cut them off at the base it didn't matter to me this was to help you out for the free service. You're one review won't affect my 400 good ones take care, pal." Super professional from the owner, huh? 0/10 recommend. Go with a more reliable company.

Suggesting to check back later in the summer or fall, as it may need an injection of medicine like my Pear trees did. Recommend him and their service. I have used arborists before. I loved the fact that a) he responded at all vs just ignoring the request, b) was upfront and honest about his timeline vs just taking the job and overextending himself. Once I told him that we were in no rush, and would be happy to wait, he proceeded to text back and forth with me helping me get an idea as to what the job might cost. He made recommendations about plants, etc....and all this without officially having secured my business. Towards the end of July, I reached back out to see what his timeline looked like. Again, he responded almost immediately. He apologized for not getting back to me sooner, and said he would come out to measure the area, and discuss the job in more detail. In my mind, he had absolutely nothing to apologizing for. He set a date to come out, came out exactly at the time he promised, and helped us figure out what would look good. He provided a written, detailed estimate, which he adhered to...we paid exactly what he quoted. On the day of the job, he showed up as promised and on time. He laid out all of the plants, and allowed us to move them around several times until we got everything exactly the way we wanted it. His team worked quickly and neatly. The end results are amazing! Exceptional! I had a 100+ year old tree that was diseased and needed to come down professionally, and hopefully not from Mother Nature's unpredictable spring storms. I'm closer to the city of Chicago, and many of the tree services I called were outrageously priced and said it would take 3-4 weeks to complete the job. Gage and his team were clear and concise on their plan. They had a lot to contend with: small city property, very close proximity to my neighbor's fence, several power lines, landscaping bricks, narrow pathways.. but they meticulously and Safely removed the tree. From the top, they removed the branches limb by limb, took the rest of the behemoth down in sections, ground the stump, cleaned up not only my property but my neighbors as well, put everything back in its respective places. They were Phenomenal. And the Price was beyond fair and reasonable! Highly recommend Sasquatch Tree & Stump. Very responsive to messages and came same day and gave an estimate. Gage was kind and professional along with the guys that work for him. I had two other local estimates and I chose Gage hands down. The tree came down in a week. It was a 50' Silver Maple in a tight spot between our deck and house. His team showed up and started working right away at 9am and the job was completed and cleaned up by 1pm like they weren't even here. Worth every penny spent. He even saved a bush next to the tree while others said it had to go. Although we'll miss the shade, he gave us peace of mind...thanks Gage and your guys for a job well done! read more

We needed a tree trimmed over our driveway entrance to make room for a ranch sign. We were unsure whether we wanted to remove the entire tree or trim branches in a way that wouldn't inhibit people from seeing the entrance sign.
