    Wood slab table tops
    Miss B.

It's a pretty ok stop for pub food and a cold drink when passing through. I had great service last few times we've been, friendly, attentive and my drinks were never empty! Got a Sasquatch and logging forestry theme happening here with slab wood table tops and logs everywhere. Only thing I don't dig is the tall tables randomly throughout, it's awkward to be sitting below one at a regular short table. They should just group all the tall ones in one area or something ....

Our very large group of about 20 stopped here for lunch on the drive home from Weaver Creek. Even without any advance notice, the servers seem happy to see us and jumped right into action moving tables around to accommodate us. While pretty much the standard pub fare menu, everything was very good, and there was also a good variety of beers on tap. The environment is a mix of pub and warm country cabin--nothing fancy, just casual and comfortable. Service was absolutely excellent, very friendly and attentive the entire time. Free wi-fi was also an unexpected bonus given very poor mobile coverage on all carriers in the immediate area.

Best described as a resort. It is located out of the way from Harrison Hot Springs and it is in a tranquil and quiet area next to the Harrison River. The original house on the property has been renovated, and a golf course was added by the descendants of the original owner of the property. The main house has been renovated so that each room is a guest room. In addition, each room bears one of the names of the original ancestral occupants of the house. There are also cottages that are available for overnight stays. The cottages are separate from the main guest house and is nestled a little more into the forest that surrounds this property. Dinning is offered by the River's Edge Restaurant, that also serves the Sandpiper Golf course patrons. Foodwise, it is OK. The Sandpiper Golf Course is a very nice place for a round. It runs along the Harrison River on a couple of holes and also has old growth trees on a few others. There is also an airstip near one, possibly two holes. Don't knock you balls onto the airstrip, it is OB! I've seen planes land there on ocassion. A very nice place for an escape from the city, or for a round of golf. I've played here several times.

I loved the view from the bedroom. You could see the lake without walking out to the balcony. We decided to sleep without the curtains drawn so that we could enjoy the scenery. The air conditioning was also powerful which was so needed during the hot summer day. As it was covid-19 pandemic while we were there, safety protocols were in place. I appreciated the contactless check in and check out, plus hand sanitizer by the elevator on every floor. We had to bag our used towels and linens when checking out but it was understandable. The bathroom amenities were from OrganiQ which was my favorite brand. I loved the lemongrass scent of the body lotion. The bathroom was also clean, likewise for the rest of the room. Tea and coffee (Keurig) were provided though we did not touch it or any of the items. Covid-19, you know. The bed was soft, good if you prefer that. I had no issue with the noise and could sleep through the night. My friend was sensitive to noise and could hear everything -- doors opening and closing, people talking etc. I heard nothing though. So this could be something to consider if you are a light sleeper or hate sounds. The staff was excellent. We parked our car for $5 at the back parking lot, and the staff allowed us to leave the car there for a couple of hours after we checked out so that we could grab a quick bite and also shopped a bit. That was very flexible and kind of them. I will definitely stay here again. A+++++++

We left Kelowna at 8 am , drove the Coquihalla, Connector in winter conditions. Then visited family in Langley and back to Harrison Hot Springs. Several hours of driving and we were tired and looking forward to relaxing in the hot pools. At 4:30 we arrived and were already an hour and a half past our 3 pm check in time. The check in person just flicked her wrist saying go for a walk or dinner and we'll message you when your room is ready. I explained that were had driven many hours and were tired. She said maybe she could find another room. Flicked her hand again saying go for a walk or dinner. It was pitch black outside . I said we would just wait. While we were waiting I though to check out the pool. Couldn't access the pool without a fob. Waited half an hour. Now 5 pm, 2 hours past our check in time. A lovely valet helped us bring our luggage up to the room. I heard noise coming from our room and therefore didn't opened the door so knocked on the door instead. Another family was in the room. We had been sent to a room that was already in use. Back down to the front desk with the check in people , now 2 of them claiming it wasn't their fault. We were offered a 15 percent discount. So almost two and a half hours after our check in time we finally had a room. Side note. We were cold with only an extremely thin comforter. Asked for a blanket the 2nd night and received an equally thin blanket. No cleaning service, no new towels or refill of the coffee pods. The pools themselves were nice. He had always wanted to do a sturgeon fishing charter and this was going to be the perfect gift. The ladies in the front office (Claudette, Krissy and Jenn) answered all my questions and really helped me through so many aspects of planning this trip. They were always just a call or an email away and were always speedy with their replies. Never once were they rude to me, or made me feel like I wasn't worth their time. They pretty much pampered me right from the start. I reserved a 3 night stay in the Bison Suite that included - 2 eight hour days of guided sturgeon fishing and all meals provided by the lodge. The Bison Suites need to be seen to be appreciated. We had a large room containing a super comfy king sized bed in front of a push-button fireplace, two sitting chairs around a small coffee table, a large TV with all the streaming apps, a Nespresso coffee maker, and mini fridge. And let's not forget the bathroom. To say the bathroom is well-equipped would be an understatement. The toilet does everything you never thought you needed a toilet to do, and it is a full experience. Don't be a prude! You need to experience the toilet. And the shower is majestic. The shower 'stall' is a large glass area that features a waterfall shower head on the ceiling and a handheld shower head on the wall. The floor of the shower looks like a riverbed, and there's a large window looking from the shower into the bedroom so you can see out to the deck and the beautiful scenery. The deck boasts a 2 (or maybe 3) person hot tub and it is fully private. It felt magical after a full day of fishing. The meals were straight up 5 star cuisine. Dinner was a 4 course meal, breakfast consisted of mouth watering pastries and something more substantial such as eggs benedict or quiche, and both meals were served by attentive and friendly staff in the lounge at a set time. We dined with other lodge guests and it was actually kind of cool to meet different people and get to know everyone's story. Lunch was served differently and it was so cool! It was freshly barbequed on the boat while we were fishing so we never missed any action. One day it was steak and shrimp and the other is was chicken and sausage. (I have to give a huge shout out to Chef Ian and his crew who took the time to make sure my dietary preferences were met in each meal. The food was beyond anything I thought I would receive and I'm so appreciative.) Now, on to the fishing! Our guide was Neil and he gave our trip another layer of amazingness. He is a local so he was really knowledgeable about fishing locations, where the bite was best vs. where it wasn't, how the river was looking that week, etc. He also had a pretty epic, fully loaded boat with great gear, and a cool rig to pull it. He took us out to Beach 22 for launch and found some really great areas to set up in, he brought the best bait, set up the gear, and gave us incredibly helpful direction. Once he saw my husband was comfortable with the gear, he was able to let him cast the line as well. My husband and I have been fishing since we were kids but, when you're in a new area with a local, you watch and learn and listen the best you can until you're given the 'green light' to go ahead and help. Neil treated us with respect and we did the same to him, plus, he was super fun, laid back, and really easy to get along with! My husband and I caught 27 sturgeon between the two days we were fishing with Neil, and we still can't stop smiling. It was THE best fishing experience we've ever had and it exceeded our expectations. There were also a cool crew of animal friends at the lodge. At any time there were 3-4 dogs, a cat named 'Paul', a herd of bison, a coop of chickens, and 2 resident donkeys. Personally, I love places that have animals around. I thought this was a birthday gift for my husband? It was really a gift for us both because we both loved it so much. This is not just a 'for the guys' lodge so, ladies, step up your game and take your man on a vacation! This is a luxury fishing lodge set amidst beautiful scenery with amazing accommodations, 5 star meals, top-tier fishing, and truly kind people. You will be pampered and spoiled. (Did I mention that, upon check in, one of the office ladies will walk you to your room, invite you in, and make sure everything about the room is explained? PLUS, there's a sweet complimentary treat waiting for you on the bed.)

Andrea was not kind to us and at one point snatched the key cards she gave me back off the desk and said she would not be checking me in right now and I would wait! hours before a wedding we were in town for. Andrea also seems to be fine with the aggressive drug users out front of the hotel at the lobby whom were around the entire time we were at the hotel. seems no security was present, guests vehicles and belonging and personal safety doesn't seem to be top priority for Andrea. at one point the aggressive behaviour of the drug users was hostile towards myself and other guests. The other rooms were occupied, but you never heard them. A day before arriving Dehlia, the owner, sent an email request that we call her about an hour before we arrive at the Inn. As she doesn't reside there. First problem: When we arrived there was a price difference, as there were three of us, two adults and one child. When booking and filling out the online forms, which I have done hundreds of times before, I marked two adults and an 8 year old child. We were quoted $369.51 by hotel.com. She charged us $403.41, as she said she charges extra for the Rollaway, which costs an extra $33.90 for three night stay. Since we were tired from our two day drive and tense because of the funeral we were coming for the next day, I paid the difference. Second problem: When checking in she took us to our room. She showed more concern about showing us how the door locks work, as if we were dummies, never telling us we don't get daily maid service. And to our disappointment next day after getting back from the funeral, we found that housekeeping had not come. My wife called her that night at 8:30pm. Dehlia said they do not provide daily service. And they only give fresh towels on request. Except we had already thrown all the dirty towels on the floor and certainly weren't going to use them again. We told her we also had garbage overflowing and had no idea we were supposed to look after that too. We didn't see any garbage bins to dump it in outside. She said there was a dumpster behind the greenhouse. All this would have been nice to know beforehand instead of how to work the simple door lock!!! The next morning as we were heading out for a day trip . She came to do our room . She tried to explain with an excuse that she doesn't offer daily maid service to keep the lower rates and that most people that check in want their privacy. She also said she should put up post up sign saying so. As for the price I could gotten a place in Chilliwack with two queen bed for $89.00 a night with fridge and microwave. Her kitchenette had no microwave. This is a nice quiet little place with proper information and correct pricing it would have been great place to stay for us . This is a good place for a family of two adults and child the most but not any larger. It is better for a couples retreat for a weekend .
