I had a pair of leather MK boots- heel had puppy nibbles on it and the hubs had a heel come off of his favorite dress shoes. We wandered in not knowing what to expect- and we're pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and down to earth and the prices for repairs were affordable. I think they charged $15 to repair my heel and put new tips on them and around $40 to resole my husbands shoes and fix his heel. Totally worth it if you love a pair and invest in good quality shoes. 10/10 would recommend stopping in before you toss your damaged shoes- you may be surprised! Pretty disappointed with this shop despite the great reviews. I paid to shine/polish and new soles on a pair of work boots. The turn around time was a week. When i came to pick it up, the shine was not as shined as you would expect a shine to be done by a professional shoe store. It looked like they just brushed it with one coat of polish. And when i checked the soles, they were not replaced. I told them about the error and they said it was missed on the order. I had it stay with them for another 2 days to replace the sole. read more

Used to take my Danner acadia work boots for years. Had them replace some soles on some Sidi motorcycle boots resoled with new danner like kletterlift and vibram sole and they were awesome. Big inprovement over original. Brought back another pair a few years later with the same replaceable sole to have the same thing done and suddenly it's not possible and claimed he never did the last pair. A quick google search shows the brand sells their own replacement soles so yes it can be done. Really disappointed and felt like he just wasn't interested doing the work. Customer lost. read more

We were having an issue with a zipper on a tent that was lent to my friend and I tried my best to fix the issue. Did not know where to turn but looked on Yelp and found Sarvey's Shoes. We've been going to Sarvey's over the years for shoe repairs, new shoes, etc.They used to be a great old style cobbler shoe place....now they're absolutely horrible! You walk in and it's filthy dirty, the shelves no longer have any shoes for sale, no belts or socks....you stand there wondering if they are even really 'open for business'! Which they really aren't. Because the two young people sitting with their backs to my wife and myself behind the plastic barrier are playing with their cell phones and won't even acknowledge you're there....when you ask if they can repair a shoe, a belt, or anything else, they are quick to respond, "we don't do that anymore ". My wife asked the simplest task to put an additional hole in a leather belt, which he responded, "we don't have the tool to do that". So she googled, and found Marcela's shoe repair in Manteca....he did it quickly right there on the spot, and he was very nice...when I told him of our latest experience at Sarvey's he chuckled and said that's not the first time I've heard that! I couldn't remember when my feet didn't hurt. I went to Sarvey Shoes for the first time and my feet haven't hurt since. I was helped out but a delightful young woman named , Kelly. She had me stand on this machine and showed me why I was having such pain, she then told me which insoles would help with my problem. So easy!! My feet feel amazing and the service was the best ever! After purchasing the insoles last week , I since have purchased some shoes as well! If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I ordered two pairs of a specific shoe on November 7, I finally got the second pair a month later and the first pair a few days ago! The customer service is NOT good! In the old days, Sarveys knew what they were doing and the guy was super knowledgeable. Now, I showed them exactly what I needed, Told them how important the insoles are because i'm diabetic, and they ordered the wrong ones, the shoe was the same, the insole was different...I found both online, and the ones with the TriPad insole which is what they said they ordered, are available... they just didn't order them! The lady then tried telling me they are the same, they are NOT!!! They lost a customer for life! I have done business there for over 25 years, now I will order my own rather than try to support a local business! read more

Some companies are the epitome of customer service. Sarvey's is one of them. My experience stretches back to the late 60's when Sarvey's was located on Edes Ave in Oakland. They must have done business with everyone in Brookfield Village! And everyone speaks well of them. Whether it was putting taps on shoes or resoling holey ones, Sarvey's could do it. So imagine my surprise one day as I was driving down Grant Line and saw the sign. I had to drive around the block so I could ask the question, were they the same Sarveys from Oakland. I came in to see if they could fix a rivet on a pair of jeans. They have before fixed a different pair of jeans but this time they didn't really help me at all. The guy that helped me was very rude and very unprofessional, unhelpful. They didn't try and see if they had anything that could use to fix it or anything similar to what was on it. Awesome service! I brought a pair of women's heels in for a repair - they were missing the heel pad/tip both shoes. I dropped them off on a Saturday and they said they would be available on Thursday. I picked them up on the following Monday because I was out of town. They opened early on Monday as I was there at 9:45 and they are already open. I go in here quite a bit. Very pricey but you get what you pay for. You get quality shoes. There is a lady in there that is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and cheerful. There is also a man in there that couldn't be a bigger jerk. I saw him outside of the store once and he was so rude. I was backing my car out of a stall at the bank and apparently wasn't driving fast enough. He was acting so ridiculous. I reconsidered ever stepping foot back in his shop but quickly remembered I won't find much quality elsewhere. read more

I broke my tibia in multiple spots. After the surgery, my leg ended up being short. After getting the run around from my Doctor, I went into Sarvey's. They put a lift on my boot. I went in twice within the last month for repairs. Once for a purse and once for a belt because they advertise that they fixed all types of leather items. Both times the man at the counter quickly said he couldn't fix the item. Nope. Can't help you. Period. The belt just needed a screw. Most people would offer a suggestion, an alternative, offer to order the screw. Not a bit of help. Never got a smile on either visit, nor a thank for coming in. Not going back. read more

Sarvey's Shoes did a great job on repairing my boots. Both the heels of my Steve Madden leather boots were completely worn off, and I took them to get repaired and now they look brand new! I forgot to ask if they could polish my boots while they had them but when I picked them up they looked brand new. I usually never give out a 5 but we like this place. The service is great, selection is good and they will do just about anything with leather. Need a patch sewed on a jacket or vest? They will do it. Need shoes? Sarveys either has them or can get them. Prices are better than the malls. read more

My wife had experienced the short rudeness from Mr. Sarvey. I disregarded her opinion and took a pair of sandals in to be resoled. The replacement sole's pattern was not even similar to the original...I'd live with it. Went to put them on and the adjustable straps had been glued to the sole. I could not even get them on my feet. Took them back and Sarvey tried telling me they weren't adjustable and his employee tried to disagree on the tread pattern. Got my $45 back but am out a $100+ pair of sandals. Never again! read more
