    cookie dough sundae
    Maura C.

This is a super cute place to visit for ice cream or any chocolate confection. During the holidays the entire chocolate shop is filled with fun Christmas decor. We ended up ordering a cookie dough sundae with hot fudge, which was super yummy! They give you a ton of ice cream, so this is the perfect treat to share. They have a few booths inside as well as outdoor seating to use during the warmer months. Be sure to check out all of the chocolate creations they have after enjoying some ice cream!

I have to say that first time in Sarris Chocolate Candy Shoppe in Canonsburg PA is a tad overwhelming! BUT you will definitely be glad you stopped! It's a Candy store and Ice Cream Parlor..something right out of OZ! Munchkins overload! Definitely stop if you can! I know I'm going back! Deacon absolutely loved it and so did Kayla Beth Fields & Joshua Hunt

So many great reviews I had to try it. Came in and wow, ice cream and a candy store. Having no idea what I wanted, I asked the woman behind the counter what are they known for. Hard crust! So you put this topping on and it hardens to the ice cream. So... 2 scoops, 1 coffee and 1 cookies and cream. PB hard crust and some blueberries and whipped cream. I think Blueberries and PB are a slept on combo. The woman said the scoops were big, and she didn't lie! Damn the small was huge!

Great stop for us! Giant candy shop with a ton of stuff. PLUS a great ice cream counter. We got fast service and great ice cream that we ate on their cute parlor style dining room.

Stopped in this week to try the Dubai Sundae & it didn't disappoint! Although I didn't love the pistachio ice cream ( I'd prefer the pistachios to be chopped in pieces not whole!). The chocolate cap was amazing and delicious as always. The service was great, I was waited on immediately. They have cute little seating areas inside & outside of you want to enjoy your treats at their location. And the bathroom was spotless!!!!

I always stop at sarris to stock up on chocolate pretzels and goodies for quick gifts. This time I came to grab my friends all a chocolate bar before our upcoming flight to enjoy on the plane. The service was quick and helped me get exactly what I was looking for. I love the chocolate factory decor and paintings. Sarris always brings back so many memories. The best chocolate and then I stopped in for a sundae while I was there. Massive serving size! 10/10

Huge single scoop with peanut butter hard cap

Finally got to visit Sarris Candies! We headed straight to the ice cream parlor -- it's so old fashioned and cute and it's hard to choose. I got a single scoop of cookies n cream with the peanut butter hard cap. World chanting stuff right there -- it's their peanut butter meltaways melted down and poured over ice cream! There are milk and dark chocolate varieties too! My husband loved his odd couple sundae and our kids loved the HUGE milkshakes. The ice cream cakes looked amazing and their candy selection in the store is crazy -- the huge chocolate castle is so detailed and the theming varies for the holidays, it's a fun place to just go walk around and check out! Definitely recommend checking it out.

Sarris Candies is a must visit place when I come home for the holidays. The ice cream parlor is fun and the ice cream is amazing. The candy shop is filled to the brim with treats! I love the decorations and chocolate castle! The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable! I visit every time I come home

The pictures say it all! Busy, busy place with an ice cream. The array of candies is beyond belief! Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Free parking across the street.

Love the vibe of Sarris Candies - over the top candy store! Every type of chocolate candy you could imagine and more. There are so many options and the walls are lined floor to ceiling! I went during the Holidays & it was decorated with all different decor and gift options. I didn't even know they made sugar free chocolate covered pretzels so that was exciting to see! The ice cream line was long but the service was quick, friendly and efficient. I can't imagine how busy they get in the summer lol! My ice cream was delish! I'm an avid ice cream lover and this was some of the best I've ever had. I got the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough. The wafer was a nice touch! I've heard that you must get the Hard Cap so I'll have to try that next time. I even took my ice cream to go to eat at home and it was still the perfect consistency.

    Banana split

I believe it was around 17 degrees for a high the day of my first visit to Sardis' but who cares- I had a great banana split! Lots of everything- pineapple, strawberries, and chocolate. Service was quick, seating was convenient, parking was plentiful, and worth every penny. This is a place I'd come every week if I lived closer. The interior and shopping areas are very well organized and stocked.

It sells a wide variety of old-fashioned/nostalgic and modern candies, glass-bottled sodas, and gifts for people of all ages. The store is filled with shelves of candies of many kinds--hard, gummy, sweet, sour, chocolates, etcetera--which customers may purchase individually or in bulk. In addition, a candy-buffet wall allows you to fill up a box for $5. The sodas are available in hundreds of flavors. Examples of the gifts are greeting cards, books, mugs, toys and socks. Other fun details: With the Vault Loyalty Program, customers earn 1 snozzberry for each $1 spent, and they may unlock the vault after earning 100, 300, or 500 snozzberries. Customers may rent a video-gaming room for a reasonable price. A toy train moves around a track near the ceiling. During my visit, Grandpa Joe's had installed 10 14-foot-tall inflated ducks on rooftops of nearby buildings. Anyway, I bought several candies, most of which I was not previously familiar with. Each one cost a couple to a few dollars. I thought that they tasted "good."

An employee was busy serving another customer but soon after served me. She made friendly conversation. Here are my reviews for what I bought: S'more - 5 stars - I liked the chocolate, marshmallows, and graham cracker of this s'more. Raspberry chocolates - 5 stars - I liked the strong flavor of raspberries in the center of the milk chocolate. Strawberry chocolates - 4 stars - I liked the milk chocolate but thought that the strawberry could taste differently. Chocolate-covered cherries - 5 stars - These cherries and milk chocolate met my expectations and tasted very good. Gummy flower bouquet - 4.5 stars - This flower bouquet was constructed from many pieces of gummies, and I thought that it looked so pretty. The gummies were slightly hard and chewy but tasted good. Mountain Magic - 5 stars - Chunks contained marshmallows, rice, and peanut butter. I definitely taste the peanut butter and really enjoyed it. Peppermint-chocolate marshmallow - 4 stars - A large marshmallow was covered in milk chocolate and covered in peppermint pieces. One without peppermint would have fit my personal preferences better. Hot-cocoa spoon - 4.5 stars - A plastic spoon contained chocolate, marshmallows, and sparkles. I put it in hot milk to melt it. The hot chocolate tasted good. Sugarfina Sparkling Rose Bears - 5 stars - Gummy bears had a slight flavor of rose wine. Chocolate-covered pretzels - 5 stars - Chocolate-covered pretzels are one of my favorites. One pretzel was covered in milk chocolate, and the other pretzel was covered in white chocolate. Buckeyes - 3.5 stars - These buckeyes had tasty milk chocolate but needed a stronger flavor of peanut butter. The employee could not give me either a printed or emailed receipt. My husband paid and said that the total cost was ~$60.

The chocolate was fresh and each piece that I had the pleasure of sampling was delicious. If I need a gift or just a mid-day pick me up, I wouldn't hesitate to stop in here.
