It took a few minutes to get seated, and once we were at the table it also took a bit for our server to come by, but she apologized and we moved on. We each ordered a different shrimp and crab boil and went with the house specialty flavor (all the flavors combined) at medium heat. We started with the calamari, which was just okay. When the boils came out, they were served in the inflated bags, which was pretty cool to see. Our server then deflated the bags and opened everything up for us. We were given bibs, all the utensils we needed, and wet wipes, which was definitely appreciated. The seafood was really good. We ordered white rice on the side, and using the extra sauce over the rice was a game changer--so flavorful and honestly one of the best parts of the meal. I also had a happy hour cocktail that was wicked good, one of those "some sort of wonderful" moments that just sticks with you. A highlight of the evening was when Chef Josue Perez came out to chat with us. It was such a nice personal touch, and you can tell he leads a great team that's turning out fantastic food. A 16oz piece was way too much and even though it was served with brown butter and a crust topping I was not a real fan.
