Great service, great food. Party of 11 and we were all happy with our food and desserts. Prices are all reasonable and Andres was a great server. read more

Sarento's at the Wilderness: During my most recent Dell's vacation my friends and I decided to have a nice traditional Italian meal at Sarento's. We were staying at the Wilderness Resort and this restaurant was just a short walk further down the large property. The atmosphere was pleasant with the place having dimmed lighting and tasteful décor to set the mood. I'm going to get the negative out of the way first. We had a party of six and we were only provided with five appetizer/breadstick plates. Our server never cared to correct this. We were also not provided with enough water to fill six glasses. This was corrected, but only after waiting several minutes and having to ask myself. To put it in perspective, I went without water from the time initial drinks were ordered until our appetizers arrived. This might not be a big deal, but since the only thing I ordered to drink was water it bothered me a bit. My only other minor complaint involves their house salad. All the entrees my party ordered included their standard house salad. Interestingly, one member of my party's salad had no croutons and another had no onions (remember, it was all supposed to be the same house salad). The salad itself was still tasty as far as a basic side salad goes. Everyone in my party found the breadsticks to be fantastic. For my entrée I was craving some lasagna and Sarento's did not disappoint. The lasagna was a large square portion with multiple layers of seasoned beef, cheese, sauce, and noodles. I was impressed with the flavor of the beef and there was plenty of sauce and cheese to keep me satisfied. I have to say the food is Doughboy approved (5 stars), but the service while not terrible could use a little work (2.5/3 stars, just okay). My overall rating is 3.5 stars, but since that's not an option I'll be nice and round it up to 4 as we enjoyed ourselves despite a few hick-ups. read more

Very attentive service and a pleasant ambiance with nice murals. I really enjoyed the ribeye - it was a fine cut of meat and a perfect medium rare. The Caesar salad had just enough dressing. The wine was good. The cheese cake capped it off. We'll be back. read more

My family had a good experience . Food was good and not over priced. The wait staff was always there when needed. One of the better restaurants in the Dells area. read more

My friend and I decided to go to Sarento's last Friday for dinner while on ladies weekend. Arrived around 7 Friday night and it was not overly busy so we were seated right away. Initially was unimpressed with service as it took about 10 minutes for our waitress to acknowledge us but service was prompt after that. We had the goat cheese bruschetta appetizer which was delicious. Only three slices so larger groups should be aware. Enjoyed wine and salads next with breadsticks & olive oil. I had the chicken Alfredo and my friend had the pasta alla vodka. She thoroughly enjoyed hers and ate every bite. My Alfredo left something to be desired; the sauce was not good, very bland and almost tasted like it was from a jar at Walmart. We opted to skip dessert but wish we would've tried it. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and the prices were fair. I would go again and try another dish. *forgot to take photos!* read more

The cocktails were excellent. We would recommend the lemon drop martini and the strawberry mule. Our meals were small and at $29.95 were overpriced. I had the seafood cannoli and my husband had the blackened salmon. Service was poor. Our waiter literally disappeared for awhile before he eventually reappeared. In the meantime, another server took our dessert order. For dessert, I had a strange version of tiramisu. My husband's cannoli was better. We have always enjoyed dining at Sorrento's. It will be awhile before we come back. read more

We spent 2 nights in The Dells in Wisconsin. The first night we had dinner at Sarento's. I had the 1/2 baked chicken. It was juicy, very well seasoned with fresh herbs and delicious. The wine and service were excellent. The 2nd night we had a dinner somewhere else that wasn't very good. We decided to go to Sarento's afterward for cocktails. Again, we were very pleased. I left my jacket at the bar. When I realized what I had done before we left town I tried to call Sarento's but they weren't open yet. I called them that night from our next stop on our road trip and asked them to ship it to me. I gave them my credit card info. I received the jacket but wasn't charged for the shipping. I called to ask who I could send money to cover the shipping and extra for inconvenience. They said it was comped and they didn't want to be reimbursed. read more

Good pizza to go. Also tried their sit down dinner the next night while visiting from out of town. Ordered the chicken marsala with a house salad. The house salad was very dissapointing. I hate to received a house salad that has been sitting in a fridge for hours. The iceberg lettuce was underwhelming and limp as was were the cucumber and strands of carrots. Not a good salad by any means but the chicken marsala was pretty good, nice atmosphere and good service too. Not the greatest Italian food I've ever eaten but there are not a tremendous amount of great places to eat in Wisconsin Dells, lots of tourist type places and I would say this place is definitely worth a try especially their pizza. read more

We were spending a winter weekend at the Dells. We wanted a nice restaurant for our fist night there. Sorento's was on the list. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with extremely nice courteous service. Our waiter was extremely polite as were all staff filling water or bringing us wine ect. We were very impressed with the service. All food was delivered hot and fresh. We had a very nice memorable evening. Started our weekend great. We will definitely go back there again if we are in the area read more

Went here and order a pizza!! Pizza was pretty good!! I've have had pizza in New York recently so maybe I had higher expectations but it was still good. My wife got the filet sample 3 3oz steaks and she liked them all cooked to perfection!! The bread sticks were great and served with olive oil and Parmesan which is a perfect pairing. read more

We made a reservation for the 8 of us, and they sat us in a booth. The springs in the bench cushions kept digging into our backsides. The food was mediocre at best. The tomato bisque was phenomenal, but everything else tasted microwaved or overcooked. The chicken was dry, and the pasta was overboiled. The veal piccata was chewy and flavorless. Worst Italian food I've ever experienced. And if you love tiramisu, don't order theirs. read more

We were staying at the Wilderness over a weekend and ordered dinner from Sarento's. We ordered the Brushetta (ripe Roma tomatoes, basil & balsamic glaze over Tuscan toast), Breadsticks (with marinara), Sarento Salmon Salad (charbroiled salmon, chiffonade of romaine, bacon, gorgonzola, avocado, tomato, egg, chili shallot dressing), Chicken Ceaser Salad (traditional Caesar salad with sautéed chicken breast), Linguini & Clams (chopped clams, pancetta, basil, linguini with a white wine cream sauce), and Mushroom Raviolo al Forno (wild mushroom stuffed pasta, alfredo sauce, baked). Everyone enjoyed their meal and had no complaints. I would say overall, Sarentos is a solid place in the Dells. I would recommend them if you're looking for lighter fare (as it is one of the few places that has better salads. The delivery service was quick and the ordering process easy. read more

First let me say I rarely put bad reviews I am not a nit picker. Rarely send food back either. If I could give a negative star I would. I got food poisoning from this place that looks amazing, but was not. The quality was so poor. The food actually tasted like it was past expiration. Glade I only took a couple bites. Then when I politely even hesitantly sent the food back the staff got an attitude like I was lying and needed to explain. Also not to sound nit picky but normally a manager will come out and apologize no one did. A maamger did come by our table like they were super peeved huffing with a red face. Will never go back. Enter at risk. Felt it was a public service to warn people. read more

Omg! Beautiful and so romantic. It's dimly lit and classic love songs are playing in the background. We were seated immediately and our server was there in mere moments. We started with salad and ravioli appetizer. Then had the pasta Bolognese and it was amazingly delicious. Everything was fantastic and for dessert we had cream brûlée's and sorbet trio. This place would be packed if it was in my city of Baton Rouge. read more

Ordered "room service" dinner from this gem to the Fairfield inn next door. very friendly restaurant service overall! We got the chicken Alfredo, the pasta bolognese and kids pizza and upgraded to Caesar salads which were huge. Everything was great and the kids loved it. My new fave is the bolognese which is a cream based sauce other than the tomato based I am used to. Food was gone before we could take. A picture Delicious! read more

Hospitality is the business that they are in but they were anything but hospitable. Weve had take out from here and thought it wasn't bad. We decided to dine in this time and wow.. never again. Staff are extremely condescending and rude(especially the front desk hosts- Saturday night ,for reference) I understand it's hard to find staff right now, but wow do better ... If you would like to wait for overpriced mediocre food with even worst service, this is the place for you. The only good thing that this place's got going on is probably the live music. Rushed service and the food... I'm not sure how this is 'Italian' Save your money and time. Stay away!!! read more

This place is not as good as it looks and seemed to be. The service here was decent and the food was at best mediocre. The food took a long time to come as the restaurant wasn't busy. The pizza tasted like rubber and the chicken salad I got was pathetic. The only good tasting food was the bread and olive oil. Overall this restaurant an average Italian restaurant read more

The food was basic Italian food. The service was pretty good. My kids enjoyed their food.

Called 3 times and was put on hold each time for over 20 minutes. When I finally got through I was told they wouldn't deliver to my resort because they were busy and only had one driver, but if I'd called earlier they could have. I started calling when they opened, how much sooner can you call? read more

What a lovely (and delicious) Italian restaurant in the midst of the action in the Wisconsin Dells! Beautiful ambiance in all of the dining areas and an especially classy bar. You definitely can't complain about menu options -large appetizers fine pastas, large serving of classic Italian plates, amazing quality pizzas and desserts to die for! Theres a kids menu too I believe. The service was fast, attentive staff and we had a very kind waitress. We went with another couple but it's a very romantic atmosphere. Highly recommend Sarentos if you're in the area, it's also a bit more affordable fine dining than some of the restaurants near the big resorts! Perhaps we'll make a reservation for Valentines Day... read more

We made our reservation ahead of time knowing we would be at the Wilderness the week of 4th of July. We walked over & were seated right away. Our waiter was in training but very polite and accommodating. We had lasagna, seafood cannelloni and my son had the kids pizza. Everything was delish including the old fashioned and the complimentary breadsticks with olive oil. The only improvement I can suggest is their house salad. It was fresh but just OK with iceberg lettuce. Thanks for a lovely dinner! read more

Excellent customer service was the first thing we noticed. We were in town for a convention and a restaurant we were interested in trying out was only open Th-Su. There seem to be a few like that this time of the year (early March). We drove the strip of restaurants looking for a non-chain restaurant. The host was there to greet us upon entry and we were seated immediately. We had excellent service from beginning to end. We started with the deep fried calamari which we throughly enjoyed. It was served lightly breaded with marinara sauce for dipping and shredded Parmesan cheese on top. We didn't leave any behind. Fresh, warm bread sticks were served and we had an unlimited supply along with unlimited ice tea. My husband loved the fresh, soft breadsticks. I prefer a crusty bread but that didn't stop me from eating 2 1/2 breadsticks. Next up was our house salads that came with our meal. It was crisp and had chickpeas and grape tomatoes and shredded carrots in a mix of crisp lettuce blend. By now we are pretty full but it has been a while since we have been out to eat so we stocked up. The menu has the usual Italian fare including pizza but this trip we were both hungry for lasagna. Our main course arrived piping hot. I would rate the lasagna as average. Personally I thought the noodle to be over cooked. My husband thought his was just fine-but what does he know...lol. He thought the sauce could have benefited from a little more spice like oregano and I thought it was ok. So, two perspectives on the meal. We couldn't finish our lasagna so are looking forward to reruns. We both ordered cannoli to go. An order of cannoli includes two large rolls filled and one order would be plenty for two people but we figured we were on a pig out so what the heck! Our bill came to $66 for all that food. Not a bad deal. We would like to go back to try the pizza or other menu items. I'll give an update on the cannoli as soon as there is room to taste it. read more

This place never disappoints. Six of us had dinner on Friday night before a concert and the place was packed. Our table was ready on time and we were seated immediately. Our server was fantastic. Took really good care of us. Drinks were good, generous pours. The old fashioned was done correctly. Mine with Dewars of course. Salads were fresh and good sized with the right amount of dressing on the side. The food was outstanding. I had veal parmesan and it was so tender. The portion was good, not too much pasta. My wife had the special, seafood cannelloni...she wanted to lick her plate and can't stop talking about how great it was. Of course we even had dessert.... Italian cream cake, Tuscan creme brulee... all shared..and a Sambuca on the rocks for me. If you're in the Dells...don't miss this place. read more

They gave me no bread like how dare they and my cocktail was all ice waste of money and long waits

Went here for our anniversary. Ambiance was on point nice dim lit dining room, server was attentive. Then they started filling every table against COVID guidelines, and weren't requiring people to wear masks. Even worse than that the food was grossly under seasoned. My husband ordered the New York Strip and there wasn't a single bit of salt or pepper coming through, for the price they're charging it's a rip off read more

Always great food especially Italian dishes spaghetti is my favorite food and great pasta dish Lasagna, seafood yummy

It was a casual dining experience. I would recommend getting reservations if you go on the weekend. The food was mediocre. The bruschetta was seasoned well, but I was disappointed by the French onion soup. Normally the broth is very flavorful, but this was just so-so. Same thoughts on the chicken Alfredo. The chicken was moist, but lacking flavor (like maybe it had been boiled?) and the alfredo I'd compare to a jar of Ragu sauce at home. It tasted pretty blah. The bread sticks were soft, but dipping it in oil and Parmesan just didn't taste all that yummy to me. I'd look elsewhere for Italian menu items. read more

We make reservations for 7 30 Our waitress did not come to our table until 8:00 We got the bread sticks and she took our drink order. No dipping Oil. We did not get our drinks for 20 minutes. Waitress took our food order and we never saw her again. Went to the hostess stand to ask!!! They said They would send someone over. Our food finally arrived at 9:00. It was luke warm!!! The Cheese was coagulated on top. Obviously had been sitting for some time. Told the manager about our experience and he said they had served over 400 meals that night and walked away. Too bad for us!!! It was a birthday and everybody left hungry and frustrated. I will tell as many people as I can about our experience. We did not want to be compensated for anything. An apology would have been helpful. We would give it one star read more

I would skip this place. Went there today with my wife. I had spaghetti and meatballs, wife had ravioli, 8 total small ones. And grandson had chicken fingers off kids menu. One glass of house wine. $80. That's not the bad part. The ravioli came out with some strange beef gravy on it when my wife asked for marinara. Very bad. My spaghetti was like it's noodles were over cooked and the meatballs were tasteless. Best thing was the Chicken fingers. Last time here for sure. read more

Next time I am in Wisconsin Dells, I will probably stay out of this place. I loved how the place looked from outside and inside. The wait stuff was great except for our first female server. We sat and the server came, she was not very suggestive, didn't suggest or asked if we want appetizers or even suggested any specific dish. I forgot to order appetizers and had to flag someone else to tell her about what we wanted for appetizer. We got bread, I am not sure if it is their style to serve kinda soggy bread or not. Our appetizer came in time(+). Our salad took a while to come. It is because our female server never came back to our table, instead this other guy server started to bring all our food. I really hated that they cooked veal so much and put so much sauce on it that it had no differentiating taste. Might as well serve Macdonald's hamburger meat on that plate and it will taste the same. My GF's Salmon was good but the side dish of rice (thing) and that mango salad thing wasn't good at all. Asparagus was cooked properly. Since our original server never returned, I wasn't able to tell her about the food. The guy server came at the end of the meal and ask how it was. Suggestions, don't drown a veal with sauce , taste your side dish to make sure it tastes good, serve side dishes that compliments the main course. read more
