a slice of pizza on a plate

We were total strangers here on our first visit and the owners/ wait staff and local regulars treated us like family. We had a great time and Clint made our child feel right at home with a homemade cookie, and a couple of CLEAN jokes. Cathy - the owner- is warm and friendly , you wont have to wait for a drink and the food is served immediately from the kitchen. The deep dish does take an hour but it's worth the wait and this place is incredibly kid friendly! The pizza is right up there with Chicago's best deep dish at a fraction of the cost, and the mozzarella they use is the creamiest I've ever eaten. The beer was ice cold and there's several big screen TV's to watch the games. Can't wait be back!

I went to this place because it shared a parking lot with public fishing access pier nearby my campsite and boy was i lucky! small but clean place and most importantly, DELICIOUS food and excellent customer service.i had an app that was good and the pizza was to die for! very tasty and crunchy but not too thin pizza, ill definitely be coming back!! ..nice view too!

Best pizza ever! Everyone in my family agrees. We crave it! The sauce is amazing , not too much cheese. Yum!

Food is ok.. no liquor served just beer and wine. The place seems like it would be fun but at best its a mediocre bar.

I like the neighborhood vibe. They have awesome pizza, but it is the camaraderie that makes the wine and beer taste so good.

Quality, flavor, presentation were simply top notch! It just so happened to be oyr servers birthday as well, so that was fun & she was so sweet & accommodating... the atmosphere is is wonderful with the distillery, gift shop & a view of the river right out on the terrace if you want to eat outside. We saw a mother & baby deer right across from us and a whole family of geese with their gosling. We loved the place so much, we came back 2 days later for lunch before leaving the area. Take the Distillery tour & buy some amazing infused balsamic vinegars, oils, bourbon, brandy, bourbon BBQ sauce, scented candles & other before leaving. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We will come back & visit more of Baraboo just to eat here again!

The cool thing is if you arrive earlier to your tasting, you can bring the drink with during the tour. I love the atmosphere and really enjoyed the tour guide!

We came here on a Friday for fish fry, and arrived shortly after they opened. Good thing, because…read morethey filled up very quickly and we hadn't had a reservation. It was the first weekend they had their patio open to dining, so we naturally chose a spot outside -- in the shade, it was a bit much in the unabated sun. I thought we'd have a river view, but it was hidden behind some trees and a few cabins. Oh well. Still a nice outdoor spot away from the city. We were warned that there was a party of like 20 people coming in shortly to the patio, but we did not notice and interruption in our service as the gang flowed in. I will never love the ability to smoke cigarettes on an outdoor patio, so maybe I should have sat inside, but still worth being outside despite the occasional irritation. To each their own. Our server was great, and was very patient with our slow proces of ordering drinks, appetizers, and the meal in relatively spaced out time periods. The Old Fashioneds were great, without too much of the muddle and soda and more emphasis on the booze -- still a Wisconsin Old Fashioned, though! I enjoyed the cheese curds and was very intrigued by their potato and cheddar crusted cod. I usually get the fried cod during a Friday Fish Fry, but this sounded somehow elevated. Alas, I didn't find it to provide any extra or new flavors, and there was nothing crispy about it. The breading was more like a mooshy exterior that didn't do a ton for the fish. The fish was cooked nicely, but the very high price was very much not warranted. I can get crispier and lower priced cod closer to home, so just can't justify the trip for the fish fry. But then there was dessert. I'm always looking to recreate a favorite (late) childhood dessert that involved brandy infused ice cream. I always ask at a Friday Fish Fry if they can make a Brandy Alexander that's thick enough you need a spoon. They claimed this to be the case, and they did not disappoint. This was a delicious Brandy Alexander and definitely worth a trip back. So, while I wasn't crazy about my overpriced, non-crispy fish fry, I still enjoyed myself and enjoyed my food... I'm glad we came and tried it out, and if you're looking for a nice supper club spot, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

She was very attentive and checked on us regularly. They have all these umbrellas over each table that have to be constantly moved around to keep you in or out of the sun and they are so large and cumbersome they keep getting hooked up on each other. Not ideal. They have another outside seating area where a band plays. That looked very inviting. We were there too early for the band but it looked like a great setup. Inside they had lots of seating which was nice to have the option on such a beautiful day. They have these three fans I think outside to help cool and keep the bugs away. They could have been turned on soon this day before the bugs had started to come out. Hey, this is a really nice place to come with some friends to hang out and enjoy the surroundings of Devils lake area and some good ole fresh air. Yep I forget to take pictures. Next time.
