We had been camping nearby, & wanted pizza. Never expected much, when you blindly pick a place, but they will deliver. That's a plus!! It was delicious! I'm originally from the Milwaukee area. They do know how to make pizza there. Then you move out of Milwaukee, to a small city in the country. People tell you where the great restaurants are. I'm really not sure what they are comparing their choices to. So we ordered a pizza, from the place that everyone raved about in town by us. It smelled really good, started to eat it, I would have rather ate the cardboard box that it came in. The crust was disgusting! The sauce had no flavor, neither did the Italian sausage. That was the first & last place we tried pizza in this area. Back to "Thee Upper Crust Pizzeria", Pardeeville, WI. I cannot Bragg enough about their Pizza. It's the best I have ever tasted! The smell when you walked in made me want to try everything on the menu! Then the pizza! We like thin crust. It was Amazing! The sauce was the best I ever tasted! Just the right amount of spices and the flavor was incredible! Italian sausage, was perfect! They actually use the cheese from our small city. That is really good cheese. Just everything that we have tried there, has been amazing! I have to admit though, I cannot go there & not order their pizza! Anything else we have wanted to try, we take it to go. They package up everything very well. The service is very fast, waiters & waitresses are very polite. We have even had the owner stop by our table to make sure everything was great, & asked if there was anything that he could get for us. Very pleasant people. We actually go there quite often, the food is just that good. From our home, to "thee Upper Crust Pizzeria" takes us 1hour & 38 minutes. That is one way! So it's a drive, but so worth the trip! Ordered food to go. Everything was packed up separately and perfectly! Pick up was ready at the time they gave us. The Italian beef sandwich (01) with au jus was delicious! Added the fries, but not my favorite. Looks like they use soy oil. We did not care for the baked ziti. Meat sauce had lots of spicy ground sausage. Too spicy for me. Don't care for their red sauce either. And pasta noodles were over cooked. Would definitely get the beef sandwich again. Nice size portion. read more

I've driven past many times heading up north from Madison and always meant to stop. I'm super glad I did this last time through Pardeeville. The pizza was delicious and I found the atmosphere fun! The pizza is amazing but the last three times I've picked up our order, I've had to wait. Not a big deal but tonight I was told it would be a few minutes. 10 minutes later I asked how much longer ( I already arrived later than the time they told us) as I had frozen food in the car thawing. To quote my wife. "Never Again". Staff was incredibly rude, including the waitress, cashier and the one running the bar. Ended up waiting two hours for our pizza after receiving our appetizer quite quickly. Garlic cheese bread is good, but pizza is average at best. read more

Passing through town we saw this pizza place and decided to give it a shot. We are so glad we did! The service was friendly, the place was clean, prices were reasonable, and the young men who took our orders did great! My wife and I both said that it was nice to see young kids working hard to earn some money. They offered up some wonderful suggestions for us to try. My daughter had a cheese pizza which she loved and some garlic cheese bread with marinara sauce. Mom and I shared some homemade meatballs with fresh mozzarella and pizza sauce on them as an appetizer. They were pretty tasty.... Then we ordered a 12 inch Meatlovers pizza with fresh mushrooms added. This pizza was excellent! I thought it tasted very fresh, with lots of great toppings. We will be back for another pizza for sure. So we had planned to take some that pizza home for later so we also tried the Crispy Chicken Bacon Alfredo Pasta bake. Oh my was this tasty.... nice and juicy.... Best off all my 4 year old daughter got to draw a picture and the young man hung it up on the wall. So now ever time we go she will be proud to say she drew that! Great place that you need to try if you haven't already. Was totally worth the 20 minute drive. Didn't even realize that they had some arcade games in the back room until we were about to leave so we will have to play next time. Keep up the good work, we will be back! read more

We were camping at a local campground and noticed this place while picking up some last minute things from the gas station across the street. We decided to grab some pizza for a late lunch. The restaurant was cozy and clean, the young man serving us was funny and professional. Convinced us to try out the cheese curds which were great. The pizza was great! A hidden gem! We had planned to stop at a bar in town but after seeing how crowded it was decided to check out Thee Upper Crust. Sooo glad we did. From the moment we walked in the door our experience was 5 Star, beginning to end. I don't remember the last time we were greeted so warmly and sincerely in a restaurant. The wait staff seemed to have a 6th sense about what we needed and when. The pizzas and wings were amazing and very reasonably priced. We sat for a good bit visiting after we'd eaten but didn't feel at all rushed. In fact, all the staff made us feel totally welcome. We are OBSESSED with the Jalapeño BBQ Chicken & Bacon Pizza. We would order it all the time, but it usually costs us about $30/pizza because it's specialty. Love that they use Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce (the best). There's usually a really long wait no matter what time of day it is (always more than 45 mins). & our order has been written down wrong a few times and once even forgotten about. It seems like they have young workers there - children almost. But the pizza is that good. So we always go back. read more

This is the first time we ordered from here, and the food and prices were amazing! The pizza was really put together well and the pasta was stuffed in the carryout containers. TO. THE. RIM. My daughter had a full order of baked chicken parmesan, and she ate off of it for three meals. The half order of spaghetti filled my husband to the top. Employee was friendly and helpful.
