I eventually had to go find the manager. In a place this slow, he could have easily gone table to table. He did not. My friend's chicken sandwich was inedible: gnarly, tendon-heavy, and made incorrectly after requesting almost everything removed (none of it was removed). My institutional burger and fries were a snore. They offered to remake my friend's meal to go. Out came... just a burger. No fries. No sides. Just vibes. Finding the manager on the way out and bringing up our issues: multiple disappearances, an attempted discount after she'd already paid cash, and finally a handful of dollar bills shoved into her hand with "I took care of it." He never really asked to resolve my complaints but at least I had something to eat. It just so happened to be oyr servers birthday as well, so that was fun & she was so sweet & accommodating... the atmosphere is is wonderful with the distillery, gift shop & a view of the river right out on the terrace if you want to eat outside. We saw a mother & baby deer right across from us and a whole family of geese with their gosling. We loved the place so much, we came back 2 days later for lunch before leaving the area.
