    Philly tots.
    Tiffany T.

Oh bless these tots. Husband and I were visiting the Dells and I found their menu online. They had all the tots options so we knew we had to go. He had the Cityslicker sandwich - pulled pork with pecan bacon and said it was amazing, but let's get to the tots. I got the Philly tots as my meal. They were a big portion aka enough for a meal or an app to share with 2-4 people. The Philly portion tastes like juicy tender pot roast topped with grilled onions, mushrooms, and green pepper then melted Swiss (I assume Swiss American actually) on top. They were fantastic. Crispy tots. Tender meat. Well melted creamy cheese. Can't recommend enough. We didn't try the drinks but the tots were good enough to draw us back. A+

This place has an abundance of tots on the menu. Like a LOT of tots. And I'm not complaining. If you love tater tots, you'll love all the combinations Dells Distillery offers for the loaded tots section of the menu. Someone in our group tried the mac & cheese tots...which is carb on top of carb and then you need to go take a nap afterwards. Mounds of mac & cheese on top of tots then drizzled with cheese sauce! It's insane. But I think the real winner was the whiskey pork & shrimp sandwich. Everything about this combination worked - pulled pork + really well seasoned fried shrimp + slaw + bbq sauce. It's an ambitious sandwich and worth all the delicious calories.

Cute spot for casual american food with an almost underground bus stop bar aesthetic, somewhat reminiscent of Chicago. The food came out super quick, and the bartenders were very nice and attentive. I tried both the Huckleberry cocktail and the Peach Bellini with the distillery's own vodka, and the liquor was clean and smooth. I also had the Whiskey Chicken and Shrimp sandwich, which was messy, but so worth it. I would call it a medium price range, as well. Not super expensive but you can definitely rack up a bill if you get too excited about the specialty drinks. Overall a great place! Visited twice over the vacation weekend, and would visit again!

When you visit Wisconsin Dells in March, bring your parka or be ready to find a few places to duck in to get out of the cold. My husband was all too happy to accommodate my thin-blooded, cold self at the Dells Distillery. We only stayed long enough for him to enjoy one beer but he really like the one he choose from the microbrew list of the week - rhe Gumball Head. I enjoyed the people watching - especially the guy iAngry Beavers Forestry shirt. The place seemed like it would be a fun place to to watch a game.

We were looking for a local place to support Vs fast food. This place hit the spot. From the awesome customer service by Chrissy to the great food...we were not disappointed! Now we found out go to place in the Dells! Take a chance on their drink menu and cheese curds! Can't wait to go back!

Service was very slow. Decided to move on after drinks even though the menu looked okay and we were hungry.

Unbelievably great bar in the Dells. The staff is amazing and the vibe is a constant party.

We all got so sick and the food didn't even taste good and the service was so slow. Chills, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle pain.

Be aware that adding butter over the top of your meat while it's searing will cause some splashing and little hot droplets of butter may land on you. We ordered the Volcanic Punch with the take home specialty punch dish/mug. It's very cute and comes out with a flame coming out from the middle. It tasted good, not overly alcoholic and not too sweet. Easy to drink but if I went again I would get my own drink because it's a little annoying sliding the drink across the table every few minutes so each person can take a sip. We started with the Seared Ahi Tuna which you cook on the lava stone. This one is easy because you just sear it really well on each side and can eat the inside pretty raw. Then we had an order of the mussels. These come in a tomato based sauce which was good but we had hoped for a more butter or wine base. Then we shared the seafood trio and steak trio. The scallops were fantastic! The salmon I wasn't that fond of. All the steak trio meats were delicious but do take longer to cook on the stone. I will say the quality of meat was pretty good. Our server was very informative and funny! The restaurant is a little smoky inside because of all of the cooking happening at eat table. Overall it was a cool experience but I don't see us going back again, only because I'd rather have someone else cook my food

I've only ever cooked on a lava stone once before, so I was excited to do it again. The tiki theme in here is well executed and super cute. Obviously I had to get the shark bite drink and take home the shark cup because now I'm prepared for shark week. I forwent apps because I had a feeling the meal itself would be filling and it definitely was for me at least (I'd been swimming all day). My salmon was delish and I appreciated my waiter's instructions on how to cook it. I also grilled up my side of broccoli and some extra mushrooms and onions in butter on the stone. The garlic mashed potatoes on the side too were a great call. I'd literally drive 14 hours at least one way to come back here and eat, I'm not kidding. Beyond delicious, it's an experience to remember for sure.

All of the burgers were fabulous and came out within about 15 minutes. Our waitress came back to check on us but honestly everything was perfect and we didn't need much. I would come back the next time we are in town. I noticed they have an upstairs but didn't have a chance to check it out.

The rather standard pretzel came with 3 dips- the jalapeño cream cheese easily being the favorite, followed by mustard & no interest in the nachos cheese one from anyone. The burger (& wrap) came with battered fries that are quite tasty & were used to finish off the pretzels dips - my preference would be the fries over the tots (the wrap order upgraded to). Now, the star... the burger was thick and juicy with a bun that handled it well. Yoppings were fresh - we paid extra (not much) to get the works on the burger & asked for a side of mayo for the fries. This worked well for the 2 of us to split. The gal was thoughtful enough to bring extra plates & utensils for splitting. I would stop here again en route or if staying in the area. Yes, even if not drinking.

We did not have the best experience with the service unfortunately. Our reservation table was not ready on arrival and nobody came up to our table to greet or take our drink order until around 20 minutes after we sat down. We also had requested to sit outside and they reported that they didn't have a table for this. I checked outside after and they had multiple tables outside open. The host and the server asked us a couple of times if we were sure we wanted to sit outside since it was a bit chilly. But our minds were set and we were happy with our decision to sit outside; enjoying the fresh air and sunset views. And really it wasn't too bad at all with a light sweater on. The inside of the restaurant was rather warm which is perhaps why they thought it was so cold out on the back patio. Their cocktail list was classic and not overwhelming. I chose the Negroni. Dinner was the Mahi Po-Boy sandwich. Fish was cooked to perfection. Sandwich wasn't super fancy or overloaded with fillings. Just a light drizzle of cucumber aioli and a little coleslaw mixture. My only complaint is that the bread was a little too heavy or thick, it took away from the overall light flavor and texture of the fish. Perhaps something a little thinner would complement it more? Final thoughts: worth the view, relaxed environment, a step away from the busier main streets, feels more local and less touristy than the surrounding area.
