I called for help and she was so kind to me even though she didn't have the exact book I needed, but very great customer service. Thank you.

This place has been around for decades. I kid you not. I was there last week and needed to buy a couple of things for myself and a gift for a friend. They literally have everything from art work to books, to magazines, to souvenirs. A lot of cultural books from different countries and affordable prices. Got a nice welcome from the owner and was very pleased with the selection of stuff they had from A to Z. Place is clean and welcoming. Parking shared with other businesses. Thank you Abril Book store for all the contributions that you have made over the years that NOT only impacted the Armenian community, but to everyone else.

This bookstore has it all…read more- they have Tepito Coffee inside (shoutout to proceeds going to Homeboy Industries), so many gift items, cards, knick knacks, things that - if you're looking for a gift for someone, you'll find something. Not just books! Not to mention their book selection is stellar and on point. When I went here recently (I come here often), they had an author speaking upstairs, and plenty of chairs out for an audience. Upstairs, they have tons of boxed cards and single cards, and again, lots of things that you may have not known you needed - or wanted to gift someone. I can truly spend hours in this bookstore. They also have additional seating and another drink menu inside as well. Literally, something for everyone! The prices are normal and I'm so happy to support local business in any way that I can. They also share a parking lot in the back with Total Wine and a couple other retailers. I had no idea! But definitely helpful. All this to say - worth checking out, and just know that you'll spend a ton of time here. It's good vibes all around - a perfect place to visit on a weekend, but really, anytime!

As a loyal premium member who has supported this business since 2016, I would like to bring to…read moremanagement's attention the exceptional customer service provided by a barista named Karine. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction, delivering high-quality service with a level of attentiveness and professionalism that makes customers feel genuinely valued. For example, today, despite working alone, Karine efficiently prepared multiple drinks while simultaneously engaging with customers and ensuring that everyone received attentive service. Equally impressive was the quality of the beverages she prepared. I typically avoid ordering coffee at this establishment because I have often found it to be overly strong and burnt-tasting. However, when I asked Karine for a sample of the coffee today, I was genuinely impressed by its quality. Her preparation was so exceptional that, from now on, whenever I see her working, I will gladly make a point of ordering a cup of coffee. Given her consistently outstanding performance, dedication, and commitment to customer satisfaction, I firmly believe Karine deserves serious consideration for promotion to café manager. She has repeatedly demonstrated the qualities of an excellent leader and has proven herself worthy of recognition and advancement. I hope management will acknowledge her exceptional contributions and give her the opportunity to take on a leadership role.

Who knew a trip to Barnes & Noble could turn into one of the most delightful Sunday afternoons I've had in ages? THREE glorious floors of books, and just when you think it couldn't get any better, you discover the café on the third floor! With both indoor and outdoor seating, it's an absolute dream for book lovers. But here's where the magic really happens... Grab a coffee, step outside onto the balcony, and enjoy the beautiful waterfall below while music drifts up from the courtyard. The atmosphere is simply enchanting! It's the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, lose track of time, and savor every moment. I walked away with three books I've been dying to read and a newfound appreciation for the simple pleasure of spending an afternoon in a beautiful bookstore. Forget retail therapy. This is literary therapy at its finest! Five stars for an unforgettable Sunday. I only wish we had a Barnes & Noble like this closer to home! A little slice of book lover's paradise in Glendale

Upon entering there are towers of books all around, so much so that it's a bit difficult to walk around, though they appeared to have been in the midst of reorganizing and cataloguing new inventory. Regardless, it was like a treasure hunt to find books that piqued my interest. The prices were great. I'll definitely visit again in the future! The owner did mention that she had some personal matters to attend to the next few weeks, so the hours would be sporadic. They carry new and old books with VERY large selections. Their manga and comic section is really great, and I love to pop in to see what's new. They helped me snag a specific book I really wanted to avoid buying from amazon, and couldn't find anywhere else! Make sure, if you're in the same boat, give them a call and ask if they can do the same for you! The staff on the floor are engaging and genuinely helpful when you're searching for a particular find. That said, my experience selling books was disappointing. The process felt impersonal, and the seller/owner was not particularly engaging. One example: I brought in a brand-new book that originally cost $40 and was offered only a $1 store credit. I understand used bookstores have to make a profit, but the experience left me feeling like my books would have been better off in a friend's library. Great place to browse and buy, but I would lower expectations if you're planning to sell.
