There's nothing they didn't do- Rose Hall ladies Amanda and Megan, wedding coordinators. They didn't skip a beat and my son had the best day of his life because of them! They were very attentive to the bride and groom, the parties and the family. You never had to wonder where they were to ask for something because they stayed close. This was our fourth child's wedding and this was by far the one the least stressful. This venue is so beautiful. Looks like those old homes in Savannah Georgia is what it reminded me of. Food was good! Cake was delicious!! Oh and the chicken buffalo dip was my favorite! Sweet Carley did a great job serving drinks! She served with a smile. The DJ was awesome as well. Brennan? Had the folks on the dance floor cutting a rug! It's was such a great day. Thank yall again. Lisa we just love your venue!

The space is gorgeous and oh so charming!…read more I attended a wedding here this past weekend and was very pleasantly surprised.. I feel like I haven't seen anything like this up in Jersey. Plenty of parking... outside wedding ... thank God for no rain.. birds were the background soundtrack to this day, which was wonderful. I like how you can walk right from the ceremony to the lower covered section for the reception. Since it was summer in GA, the huge fans helped with that thick heat. The only thing is... some of the attendants were not giving that Southern charm that I was expecting. Not even cracking a smile... the bartenders were friendly enough... but even their warmth couldn't make up for the disappointment of having only beer and wine as options (LOL). Food was decent, nothing to write home about.. except those wonderfully sweet yeast rolls and some of the best shrimp cocktail I've ever eaten. Yassss! The ambiance at Rose Hall is right up my alley... was impressed.

I found Unique Events by Shollah on Instagram last year around this time (December 2019). From our initial meeting, I knew that I made the right decision going with Shollah as my planner. She listened to my ideas on what I wanted and recommended ideas that I never even dreamed of. Shollah and her team make you feel like you are the only customer because you always feel prioritized. She knows all the best of the best vendors you could possibly want. Name a vendor, and Shollah will connect you to that person. Nothing is ever impossible for Shollah when it comes to giving you the event you want. She is relentless in her aptitude to please her customer. I could call Shollah anytime, even at 3 am, and she would pick up with the happiest laugh and attitude. Professionalism should be her last name because it has never wavered. When you select Unique Events by Shollah, you will relish the entire experience from start to finish. She is a visionary, talented beyond words, and the kindest person I know. When it comes to wedding decor, no one does it like Shollah and her team. She provides the luxury look for a fraction of the price. Her eye for details is unmatched. The area for the ceremony was nice as well, and perfect because rain would not have been a factor. I thought the staff did a good job with handling so many people. The food itself was just okay. I was impressed they had sushi. I didn't love the cake at all, but not sure it came from this establishment. The tables were nicely spaced so you didn't feel on top of one another. Parking was a breeze, and I didn't have to walk far in my heels. I think if you don't have a big wedding party, then this spot might be a good choice. I just hope they didn't do the cake, because that was dry and disappointing!

I don't typically give out many 5 star ratings, but the team at Naylor Hall on Canton Street in…read moreRoswell exceeded my family's expectations. First, it's a very beautiful location with lots of historic charm. The original building was built in the 1840s with additions and renovations throughout the years. Sunny, the owner, originally gave my daughter and her fiancee a tour of the facilities. She showed them photo albums to give them an idea of the type of wedding they could expect at Naylor Hall. She answered all of their questions. She was professional and friendly. Abbey, the wedding coordinator, was wonderful. She kept everybody relaxed and organized during the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding. She ensured that we knew exactly what to do and when to do it. She kept everybody on time, and she ensured that we had a successful, enjoyable event. The rest of the staff was also great. Hal, the DJ, played all of the songs selected by my daughter, and he was a good MC for the post reception activities, such as the cutting of the cake, first dance, father-daughter dance, and throwing of the bouquet. Eric, the photographer, was professional, organized and courteous. He gave clear instructions to the wedding party and ensured that he captured lots of wonderful photos. During the reception, he was present at all the right moments to capture memories shared by my daughter and now son-in-law with their friends and family. Raul, the bartender, was friendly and provided excellent service. He kept our guest's glasses filled and anticipated our needs throughout the evening. The rest of the staff, including many servers, made the event a big success. One thing to keep in mind is that my daughter's wedding took place during COVID. The staff at Naylor Hall took many precautions to ensure that guests were safe. They provided commemorative face masks and multiple hand sanitizing stations for our friends and family. Based upon the attention to detail placed into the planning and implementing of the event, we would highly recommend Naylor Hall if you are looking for a venue to hold a special occasion, such as a wedding.

Neither of these things ever happened. You would thing someone could have at least returned the phone call. We would have been understanding if there were some sort of confusion on their end, but to completely ignore the situation was just wrong. We received an email from Naylor Hall the following day claiming they did not receive confirmation of the tour. However, we have the email with confirmation. I have zero confidence in a wedding venue planning my daughters big day when they cannot even show up for a tour. If you have driven much between Midtown and Buckhead, odds are that you've passed this castle-like house before. Parking is across Spring Street in a dedicated lot (underneath an on-ramp to the connector). You then just cross the street and are behind the home itself. We entered via the front door which faces Peachtree Street. Our tour lasted about an hour and focused on the architecture and history of the home. It was constructed early in the 20th century and has a lot of nice details (woodwork, light fixtures, wall murals, etc.). The tour does not include the upstairs (which is now office space for the historic trust that operates the site). It does include a brief visit to the basement, which is just an average semi-finished space. There is also a room with historical photos of the surrounding area - the shopping plaza that was built later and which surrounded the home on three sides at one point (only one 'arm' of derelict shops still exists). I recall when the Rhodes Theater was still in operation (showing older and/or cult films). I've driven by here countless times and it was nice to actually get an in-depth tour of the property. This is definitely worth doing once if you live in the area or have an interest in architecture.

So it was really an easy choice for my partner and I who married on Sunday, April 24th, 2016. We had 95 guests with our ceremony on the steps, cocktail and reception split inside and out so that the dance floor could be in the reception. It was a bit windy for the piping drape and urns so be certain you weight down well. Chrystal was a true joy, her experience with the venue gave her the knowledge to make great suggestions. While we did add florals and décor on the tables and mantels, we kept them in the feel of the home very lush and loose. We wanted people to explore the home the whole evening, not just for ceremony or dinner. We put the bar into the den so it was just off the dance floor (in the reception hall ) and would keep people flowing through the home even after dinner. She offered to work with us every step of the way and was always easy to reach when needed. I got my cake bar in the parlor with my 60" rounds plus sweetheart table and the rest of the guests were either seated in the library or on the porch. Dinner was buffet style, then we all returned for dancing and mingling. Several did mingle on the front and side porches, taking photos of the home, ceremony or photo backdrop. The day of is truly a whirlwind, the staff was on top of everything. I'm very hands on and they wouldn't allow me to do anything. = ) I too, returned from my honeymoon to find my security deposit check had been returned. It was even easy to pick up the cooler we realized had been left there about 2 weeks we later. I can't wait to see the rest of our photos as the peeks I've gotten have been amazing! I know I didn't get the chance to thank you all then, but I do wish to say THANKS! to each of you who helped make our day so very special!
