They require you to sign a waiver relating to rules of engagement, injury liabilities, etc. You and your kiddo(s) have to wear grip socks when in the play area. The price was great for one day as well as the food prices. The food is kid food so pizza, fries. Pretzel bites, corn dog bites, stuff like that. The pizza was tasty, you know like better than frozen pizza and almost like school lunch pizza. Tasty. They'll have slices and whole pies to order. They have a bubble area for when it's bubble time which is adorable considering my little loves bubbles. Most children like bubbles. They'll announce a birthday if the kid is having a party there or not, they'll do a shout-out which is cute. The staff was attentive, polite, and helpful. I saw some of the senior staff knew some of the kids' names since they were frequent visitors. The play area is a good layout. Some moms were watching in the play area while some sat in the cafe sitting area to watch their kids. I even seen a few moms working on their laptops which was cool considering those moms had bigger kids like 8+ that didn't need as much supervision as the toddlers. The layout has something for everyone of all walking ages. They have big and little slides, a trampoline area, a nice jungle gym, again, something for all the kids. A great place for kids to play and a nice place to have a birthday party because they offer that as well! 10 out of 10.

Mac's Chophouse - Ellijay Mushroom Pot au Feu

A solid food option anchoring Marietta Square, Mac's Chophouse was a lovely last minute discovery…read morewhen my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary dinner. Location and Parking Street parking around the square is available for free, however we opted for the deck at the edge of the square for convenience. Venue and Atmosphere Featuring two levels, stately hardwood floors, and sophisticated lighting, Mac's is perfect for a date night, celebration, or whatever occasion your heart desires. Service Our server (I forgot his name!) happened to be a former chef and restaurant owner himself. As expected, he was extremely knowledgeable and gave great food and wine recommendations. Food and Beverages We split the Caesar salad, sirloin, and appetizer trio. Everything was delicious, cooked at the perfect temperature, and seasoned to perfection. The lobster mac and cheese deserves a shoutout; I just wish the appetizer portion could be larger (haha)! They gave us a lovely complimentary dessert for our anniversary, much appreciated! Verdict I'll be back!

Due to the openness of the dining room, it is on the louder side making it difficult to talk with folks not sitting directly next to order across from one another. Service was very good, attentive, and frirfriendly. My wife and I both had ceasar salad, filet medium rare, and strawberry topped cheesecake. For sides we had asparagus and mashed potatoes. The sides wete quite good, the best part of our meals. The salad was okay though the dressing was on the more bland side and fresh ground pepper helped its flavor profile quite a bit. For a restaurant calling itself a "chophouse" and supposedly upscale, you would think they would know how to cook a steak or use a better quality steak. Our filets were cooked to proper temperature but lacked any taste of salt or seasoning and lacked any searing on the outside. The meat was chewy rather than tender and made us wonder "what's so special about this place" where parking availability is also a challenge!? So you would think dessert would be hard to mess up, but our cheesecake was nothing special at all. We've had better tasting Sara Lee cheesecake from the supermarket; definitely below expectation. We'll consider giving it another try, but at their prices there are so many other tried and true steakhouse we much prefer.

We arrived in wonderful spirits, ready to select our Christmas tree, but were met with a cold, unwelcoming atmosphere that, unfortunately, has become familiar. The quiet, passive-aggressive cold-shoulder is loud in its own way, leaving us feeling uncomfortable and unwanted. We have continued coming because our children enjoy the farm, particularly in early to mid-autumn, but this experience sealed our decision. I would genuinely rather drive into the city and sit in traffic than return. To make matters worse, when we visited the animal-feeding area, the attendant shorted our change. After we kindly pointed out the miscalculation, he replied, "Oh, well I don't have any more change." I told him we would simply take additional cups of feed, and he looked at us as though we were unreasonable. Either the math was beyond him, or he assumed we would overpay. Perhaps I am too devoted to my quixotic, Hallmark-inspired hopes for the season, but this experience certainly did not contribute to the holiday warmth we arrived with. I do, however, want to commend the employee who tied our tree onto our SUV. He was the only pleasant member of the staff we encountered. We are happy with the tree itself, but we will now be searching for a new Christmas tree farm. Here's hoping next year brings a lovelier experience. Happy Holidays, everyone.
