Hiring Peachy Keen was the best decision we made when we decided to get married. Don't believe the rumors, wedding planning can be an absolute BLAST, stress-free and an enjoyable experience but only if you hire Peachy Keen. We hired Courtney as our partial planner, florist and day-of coordinator and we owe so much of our perfect wedding day to her. I do plenty of event planning for clients in my own job so I did EXTENSIVE research on every planner in the area and from the very first phone call, I immediately knew my partner and I were in the best hands. Planning: Courtney was on every single detail and helped us to design a venue where we needed to bring in all of our own vendors. She was responsive, flexible, attentive and has excellent contacts with the best vendors when we needed recommendations. She provided honest feedback and helped us to stay within our budget which we so greatly appreciated. When we shared some of our more creative ideas and non-conventional ways to have our day, Courtney didn't bat an eye and immediately went into figuring out how we'd get it done. For all of her services, her pricing structure is extremely competitive. I was so particular about certain details and in meetings, I'd mention something once and the next moment, Courtney had it in our file. Florals: My jaw literally dropped when I first walked into my venue on the big day. I had given her my Pinterest board for some initial ideas and she HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK. I cried when my bouquet was handed to me, it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. From our chuppah, aisle, bridesmaid bouquets, centerpieces and all the small details, Courtney and her team nailed it and are insanely talented. Day-Of Coordinating: Courtney will know what you need even before you know you want it. She thought of EVERYTHING and my husband and I felt so cared for and looked after. She bustled my dress, she had food waiting for us after the ceremony in a private room, she showed me how to hold my bouquet, she timed everything perfectly, and so much more. From her extensive experience with weddings, she anticipated everything I or our bridal parties could ever need. I didn't lift a finger on my day. Her calm, fun and lovely personality was just a joy to have around. This review alone could never do her and her work justice. My experience echoes Ginnie C.'s review on Yelp, and some of the negative reviews on Google (check out Peachy Keen's responses to negative Google reviews if you want to know who you're really dealing with). Courtney (Peachy Keen) arrived more than an hour late to the wedding, and came completely unprepared. She left our decor in piles on tables - no styling - my stepmom had to jump in, in front of arriving guests, and set up the displays. Same was true of the flower arrangements, which Courtney pushed us to use her for, instead of the vendor we had already chosen. I wish we'd stuck with our vendor instead of giving in to Courtney's pressure because Courtney's lateness meant that all of our flowers for the ceremony were also not in place by the time guests arrived. Courtney's tardiness and unpreparedness were completely unprofessional, as was her handling of our ceremony. My husband and I are members of a religious minority and had a wedding with 3 or 4 elements sacred to our background. Despite meeting frequently with Courtney about the sacred aspects of our ceremony, providing her resources and asking her repeatedly if she had any questions - "No. Y'all are fine. Don't worry. I've got it." - she botched EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of our special ceremonies. Once again, my family had to step in to make everything right. Thank god for my brother, who took it upon himself to make sure everyone in the family and wedding party were where they needed to be because Courtney? Was M.I.A. She botched these things so spectacularly, some in the wedding party wondered if it was done intentionally. Especially after Courtney badmouthed me and my family to our bartender, who Courtney didn't realize was a close family friend. I don't know why Courtney seems to come through for some clients and neglect others, but it's been years since my wedding, and I still haven't completely gotten past the Peachy Keen disaster. Hiring Peachy Keen Planners was one of the best decisions for our wedding. We hired her for planning, decor and flowers. We met several times leading up to the wedding. Courtney, the owner, was organized and thorough. She asked questions that we hadn't considered and it just helped prepare them to take over on the day of. We definitely needed PKP the day of our wedding. It poured rain on our outdoor ceremony which then led to a power outage for the rest of the night. This may sound like a disaster but PKP handled it all and my wife and I never had to worry. They worked with the other vendors and eventually found a generator so we had some music and lights. We couldn't control the weather problems but hiring Courtney was the best solution. The decor and flowers were beautiful. Everyone had an amazing time at our wedding. This company has good reviews, so I may just be unlucky, but my experience with Peachy Keen was an utter nightmare and brought me and my family to tears on the most important day of my life. I hired Peachy Keen as my Day-Of Wedding Coordinator. The first part of the process was great - I met with Courtney twice and we discussed the wedding and she helped point out things I may not have thought about yet. Courtney was my only point of contact during this time and we did not meet any other Peachy Keen employees until our Final Walkthrough in which Courtney attended with an assistant. Let's start with what happened at my church ceremony. The first time I spoke with a Peachy Keen employee at the church was AFTER I had already signed the marriage license and I was walking out of the church to go to the reception. She literally shook my hand to introduce herself as I was leaving. Because of this, getting ready at the church was total chaos. I needed help preventing the groom and groomsmen from seeing my bridesmaids and making sure everyone was in their correct rooms. No one was there to help me and I literally ended up in tears. I spent a lot of money to have a day-of coordinator and they were not present. I also can't believe that a person my fiancé and I had never met before was handling this without Courtney. Courtney did not attend my ceremony OR reception and instead sent 2 assistants - only one of which my fiancé had met during our final walkthrough. I am told this coordinator was there the entire time she was supposed to be, but I never saw her. No phone calls, no texts. We called Courtney for help - no answer. The reception was even more of a nightmare than the ceremony. The week of my wedding, I confirmed in writing with Courtney that I would not be doing toasts at the reception or the traditional bouquet toss. I have attached images as proof. Everything started off OK, even though my venue coordinator mentioned that the Peachy Keen assistants (again, Courtney was not present) had not been very helpful. Things went very wrong when it was announced by the band, due to the coordinators guidance, that the best men should report to the stage. Before we could stop it, my 2 new brother-in-laws awkwardly reported to the stage (very confused because they had given their speeches the night before). They were very embarrassed and unprepared. Next, the train wreck continued when my sisters were called on stage - still no interference by our coordinators because they had no idea what they were doing. We made it through that, but it gets worse. Next, again at the coaching of our coordinators, the band requests all the "single ladies" to report to the floor. I am cringing because there were specific personal reasons that I did not want to toss a bouquet to the crowd. I frantically look around for the coordinators and there they are holding my bouquet ready to hand it to me for throwing. Are you kidding? Again Courtney is nowhere to be found because she is not present at my reception. The final straw was at the end of the night when the coordinators created chaos and confusion by not guiding the wedding party and guests to prepare for the sparkler exit. The lights came on in the ballroom and everyone was just standing around very confused. I had to ask the band myself to please announce that it was time to convene for a sparkler exit. In the chaos of the night, my parents forgot to grab the gifts that had been brought to the reception. This is definitely their fault, but also no one reminded them to do this. I didn't even know we had received gifts. They got a call from a Peachy Keen employee that told them they picked up the presents and then my parents could pick them up the next day (nice of them, but they should have left them at the venue instead of getting heated with me about how that is not their job when I called them the next day - more on that later) . The next day, my dad was on the way (a long drive) to pick up these presents when Peachy Keen called back and said they weren't there and would really prefer if I pick up the gifts myself. This seemed like a ridiculous request since I was about to depart for my honeymoon. I called Courtney and she said that my parents could come the next day. I voiced my frustration to her and she told me that I was clearly just "blaming the coordinators" for things going wrong. I blamed the coordinators because all of this was completely their fault. She then told me to "get my things out of her office." She then sent me the other email also attached to this review. She mentioned that her assistants had been yelled at and glared at all night at our reception - which I have no way of verifying, but I don't doubt it because everyone was confused the entire time. All in all, I think I spent a lot of money to have people stand around with clipboards at my wedding. At least she emailed me that she was "sorry I was unhappy with my wedding." read more

Courtney was very organized, professional, and thought of many wedding planning aspects that I had not even considered. I can't even begin to thank Jennifer enough for helping my husband and I on our wedding day! Recently attended a wedding that Peachy Keen Planners planned. After going to the wrong venue (there are 2 venues with same name), and arriving a little late, was told that we would have to wait downstairs until ceremony was over. I understand it is rude to walk in late but not appropriate to expect a guest to miss the whole ceremony. Very unprofessional staff who were dressed in sneakers and leggings for the formal event, were rude to guests and later made accusations to bride that were not true. Would never recommend this company and in fact will be more than happy to express my opinion based on what I experienced. read more

My husband and I were recently married on March 24, 2018. We were engaged in June of 2017 and with just under a 9 month engagement, we knew we had to quickly find our venue, coordinator, bakery, DJ and florist if we wanted to get married in the spring. We found Peachy Keen through the Knot and met our coordinator, Tori, shortly after. Tori showed no fear or worry of a few requests we had that could potentially upset guests such as: the doors being locked promptly at 6pm, and no cell phones out during our ceremony.  After our two, very thorough meetings regarding the coordination of our wedding day, we arrived for our wedding where Tori and Missy flawlessly executed our entire evening! They ensured everything we discussed was done and seemlessly walked us through our entire evening both behind the scenes and "on screen."
