Their parking lot is limited and I do not suggest you parking on the street because of all busy traffic and semi's possibly scrapping your car. Check the expiration dates. I cannot stress enough that you do that because many items are either expiring the day or in a few days. This is a good place to buy stuff in bulk and because this is an outlet, you'll find amazing deals. Deals you don't see often at regular franchises or mini markets with or without coupons. They carry plenty of different stuff such as cookies, brownies, muffins, donuts, bread, bagels, wraps, buns, candies, drinks, etc. If you spend spend more than a certain amount, you have the options of selecting products in the "free" basket. I spent around $20 and was able to get 2 free loaf of bread. There's a catch though. The item other expired the day before, the day of, or the next day.

This is where I get my bread and breakfast baked goods for my kids for school. You can't beat the prices! They have a wide variety of baked goods and brands. The employees are also very friendly and helpful. At the moment, you get a "frequent shopper's card" good for 1 free item for all of your baked goods purchases, and receive stamps depending on how much $$$ you spend. Currently, you get 2X stamps on Wednesday's and Saturday's. If you go through a lot of bread and are tired of store-bought prices...Check it out! Address: 7691 Wilbur Way *** This location IS currently open! Some Yelpers have reported that this location is closed.

Wow, brang me back to high school. Used to get these every day before school with my girl.

Walking in, the line was short but the staff took a really long time servicing people. Since it's a 2hr drive from SF to Sac, you know I'm about to bulk buy. The case had a good selection but quite a few were sold out already. Everything looks really delicious but I had to control myself. Almond Croissant $7.50 - I don't remember what this tasted like so it must've been standard. Matcha Croissant $9 - Don't let the price deter you because for $9, you get a big filling croissant and it was honestly so delicious. The dipped part was like a white chocolate matcha and the inside matcha filling was so good. I don't know how but I fridged it and ate it the next day, IT WAS STILL CRISPY! This was the highlight and highly recommend getting it. Blueberry Choux $11 - This was also really good too. The blueberry filling was creamy and delicious. It tasted really fresh. Macarons $2.95 each - Standard stuff. I got a Thai coconut cream and this is a flavor I haven't seen before and recommend trying it! In summary, highly recommend trying this place. It is on the pricier side but if you're like me and don't go to Sac often, I would give this place a try and buy extra!!

Large, very clean. All of the employees were friendly. It has a little bit of everything. It has a bakery, sandwiches, soups, stews, other items as well. They even serve an afternoon tea. I decided to go for the chicken and mushroom congee. (rice porridge.). I also got a green onion hotdog roll to take home with me. To drink, I had a green tea with lemon. The congee was amazing. A rich complex flavor. It had a little bit of ginger in it, you could definitely taste the ginger, but it did not overwhelm the rest of the porridge. The chicken was good, and for the mushroom, they used black mushrooms, which have a deeper flavor than regular mushrooms. So very good. It looked like a small bowl, but I couldn't finish it. Some came home with me, and it reheated very well. It also came with Chinese donuts to put in the porridge. Chinese donuts are a little bit different. They definitely taste like a doughnut, except they are not sweet at all. They are savory donuts, and are perfect to use as a crouton, so to speak. The green tea was very good, and they didn't overdo it with the lemon, and that hotdog roll that I had later, the pastry was delicious with just a little bit of a "chew" to it, they were definitely high-quality hot dogs, and it wasn't just green onion. They had something mixed in, I'm not sure what it was, but it didn't taste raw like green onion can. Just a great lunch. I'll be back. Thanks.

This place is a total hit . I wish I had an extra star or some kind of special rating scale for it…read morebecause as soon as I walked in, I knew it was going to be a wrap. It's a small bakery tucked into a side corner off J Street, and every single thing I tried was a 10/10. The man behind the counter gave me a really friendly introduction when I told him it was my first visit, and he even gave me a complimentary French puff. He told me I needed to sit down when I ate it because it would "knock my socks off." He was absolutely right. I finished the entire thing in the car on the way home. Didn't even save a bite for my husband. As much as it pains me not to gatekeep this gem, I have to share the love. If you visit, try multiple things and be prepared to stuff yourself with sweets. And for the savory crowd: they have a jalapeño bacon corn muffin that had my Southern husband--who hates spice--eating a second one. That should tell you something. I went back a second time and, while I was still very impressed, I was slightly less blown away by one of the things I tried. I got a huge piece of focaccia--probably 6x9 inches--for $17, which felt like a genuinely great deal. But I was disappointed by the slice of key lime pie. Not because it wasn't delicious. It absolutely was. But I've had key lime pie that delicious before. In fact, I can make something very similar myself. It had a graham cracker crust and fresh zest throughout the pie, and there's no denying it was good, but $14 for a slice felt steep for what it was. So, a little PSA: check the prices. Some things feel like an absolute steal, while others are a bit harder to justify at the price point. I'm sure the cost of quality ingredients and labor is part of it, and I'm not saying they're ripping anyone off. It's just worth knowing that not everything here is going to feel like the same incredible value. That said, I'm still very much a fan. The French puff alone has me emotionally invested.

My boyfriend and I finally had the time to come on a Monday (after the gym lol). We ordered a couple of items to try and I'll tell you I was full after a couple of bites and it carried me for the rest of day. We ordered jalapeño cheddar and classic sausage patty, egg, & cheese biscuit sandwich and biscuit 2 pack: blueberry and brown sugar biscuit. While picking up my boyfriend was recommended the cinnamon roll and he caved and got it! We had our pickup time at 7:30, but we showed up a little early and got our food around 7:20. There was a bit of a wait since there were some people ahead of us, so I'd recommend you going a bit earlier than your time just in case you're in a rush. We headed home to try everything. We really enjoyed the biscuits themselves as they didn't leave a dry or grainy feeling in your mouth. They had a good crust while being airy and light inside. The sandwiches were good, but they were anything crazy. Size wise it is small for the price you get, but I get it. It's all house made and fresh. We definitely think the biscuits themselves are the standout. The blueberry and brown sugar biscuits were a sweet tooth's heaven. The cinnamon roll wasn't too sweet either and had great texture and basically melted in your mouth. I never knew about midtown bakery before midtown biscuits so I would definitely come back to check out their other items, while getting those biscuits!

The iced vanilla lattes were really good. The pastries were the highlight. The almond pain au chocolat was perfectly flaky, and the filling was absolutely delicious. The very berry pastry was my favorite. The cream was light, fresh, and had just the right amount of sweetness, and the fruit on top tasted fresh and sweet. The hash brown bread with ham and cheese was very dense and filling, making it a great savory option. I loved the self-serve pastry setup and appreciated how large the bakery selection was. While some items looked a little fresher than others, there was still plenty to choose from, and everything we picked was delicious. The bakery itself was very clean with plenty of comfortable seating, and I noticed they even offer WiFi, making it a nice place to work, catch up with someone, or just enjoy a coffee. It was fairly busy and a little noisy, but there were still plenty of open seats. Parking was also easy thanks to the large parking lot. The only downside was the service. The staff wasn't unfriendly, but they also weren't especially welcoming. I also had trouble hearing the employee calling out completed drinks, so I ended up waiting around 10 minutes. It's possible our coffees were ready sooner, but I didn't want to crowd the pickup area. Our total came to about $30 for two coffees and three pastries, which felt reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Overall, this was a great first experience, and I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm craving a coffee and pastry.

However, when I bit into my croquette and garlic frank, they were still cold inside. Since I had requested them to be toasted, I expected them to be warm all the way through. I called the store afterward to ask what their standard procedure for toasting items is. The employee I spoke with told me that it "just depends on the worker and how they toast it." That response didn't make sense to me. I would expect there to be a consistent standard for preparing food, especially when a customer specifically requests it to be toasted. the attitude I received came across as very much "I don't care,"
