If you can catch Leigh Ann when she is in the DMV, it's a must. She did a fantastic job with our senior photos, capturing personality in all the images. We discussed an initial location and after a conversation about what we were thinking, she quickly recommended a different location she was familiar with that was perfect. She was a delight to work with, and the time went by so quickly - before we knew it, we were done! Leigh Ann's turnaround was also incredibly fast. We've hired Leigh Ann to take our wedding photos next April, but I'm already so impressed with her through these initial months I had to write a review. First of all, she drove over an hour to meet us at a special spot for our engagement shoot. There was a threat of rain and we wanted to go for it anyway, but she was clear up front about any costs associated with booking an additional session if weather didn't cooperate (thankfully, it did!). She made me and my fiance feel comfortable, even when we were "posing," and we're glad she pushed us outside our comfort zone with some of the shots because they looked awesome! Leigh Ann has been super responsive and flexible, and it feels like she really goes 110% with everything, like a custom photo holder for the USB drive with our photos and snacks for our review session. Leigh Ann is an amazing photographer, but why should you see her instead of other good photographers? She is friendly, patient (esp with kids), and can get a smile out of anyone. Then, after the session, she does amazing retouching. We won't be using any other photographers in the future! Also, parents... if you're thinking of going to a big box store because you think you get a better deal, I've been there. I did that when my son was little and always ended up spending far more than I initial planned for pictures that are far inferior to a real photographer's. Leigh Ann Saperstone took amazing portraits of the medical providers at my office for our new website. She was so wonderful and her work was so beautiful that I asked her to do portraits of my family. I am so glad I did because our family portraits turned out amazing! Leigh Ann from Saperstone Studios was my favorite wedding vendor by far. To me, the photographer is the most important aspect of a wedding because once the wedding is over, all you have left are the photos. Leigh Ann is an amazing photographer. She produces extremely beautiful, vivid photos and is able to quickly capture moments. My husband and I feel that in comparison to wedding photos from my friends' weddings, she produces a higher percentage of flattering, usable photos. She was also a pleasure to work with - she is very nice, obviously enjoys her job, and it's easy to relax around her. A big perk to hiring Leigh Ann is that she is amazing at photoshop, which is included in her extremely reasonable pricing. For our engagement pictures session (which is also included, btw) we took pictures at the old Capital building columns in the National Arboretum, which was quite busy that day. She photoshopped out probably 30 people and their shadows to make it look like we were there all alone! During our wedding, we took pictures with the bridal party in front of a barn, which had a strange white patch on it's roof. She photoshopped out the white patch without us even having to ask. Finally, she was very responsive to emails and phone calls, usually getting back to me on the same day, and we received all of our wedding photos within one month of the wedding. I was amazed at how fast her turn around time was! I definitely recommend her for all of your photography needs. read more
