Some of the best dishes that I'd recommend would be: samosa chat, pav bhaji, pani Puri. These were delicious and hit the spot. The spice level was just right, you could taste the spice but it wasn't overwhelming. The chai was also hot and delicious. Food came out hot and fresh. Service was good and attentive (we came mid-afternoon on a Thursday so it wasn't overly crowded). Unfortunately no real parking spots in their lot, you need to try and find some on the street.

And it is cheap, the people are super friendly and although there is no ambience or decor to speak of the dosas take you away on a journey to South India. Masala dosa is a favourite with it's richly aromatic filling and the chai tea is truly the real deal unlike those pathetic bubblegum-like tea bags you can buy in the supermarket. Just go! No, no! Just DONT go! I want it all for myself! Actually maybe if they get even more people then I might convince them to get some signage, business cards and menus done through me (I'm a graphic designer); he, he!

We also got the garlic naan and pashwari naan, sometimes the fruit naan can be a failure but it was perfect here. Also serving sizes were good, you got more than a couple pieces of meat in sauce. Service is super friendly, one of the waiters noticed we were having troubles getting our 2 year old to sit, so he came over and played with her while we finished our glass of wine. Only things that stop it being 5 stars is the service is occasionally forgetful (we had to ask for things multiple times) and it being on the pricey side of things.

The ladies who work at the front are really friendly and are quite accommodating to any of our requests. It's not the most aesthetically pleasing shop but the food and service makes up for it. We usually do take away and the portions are pretty generous. Try the butter chicken, or they have a really nice eggplant dish. Cheese and garlic nann always goes down a treat. All and all, good Indian food for the price and would recommend you stop by if you're in the area.
